“This family takes great care of our pup. When I pulled into the drive and Rosy recognized where we were, she was super excited! They love her and Rosy loves them right back!”

“We took our puppy pitbull over for a day and it was great! It was our first time using rover and leaving our little girl and they were very understanding and sweet with any questions we had. Michelles hunband greeted us right at the door and started playing with our dog. The other dogs they had there were very sweet as well. We got pictures of our dog running around outside and when we picked her up she went straight to sleep you could tell she had a good day. Would definitely recommend especially for people doing this for the first time.”

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.
“I’m so glad I found Christene for my dogs! They hadn’t ever been to a doggy day care or boarding before so I was worried how they do. They came home happy and tuckered out! She has a fenced yard and a doggy room (converted from the former garage) that’s awesome for the pups. Thanks Christene!”

“Elisabeth was great with my Goldendoodle. We were racing at the dragstrip, had our dog with us &wanted to go have some fun on Fremont street. Elisabeth met us & dog sitted for us. Dixie felt very comfortable going with her & was happy when we met to pick her up! I would definitely have her watch our girl again! Highly recommend!”

“Sarah did a fabulous job with Reno. He had fun, and she clearly loves having animals around so he felt welcome. She made me feel completely at ease leaving my precious pup for the day!”

“Samantha is a great sitter for Tilly. Any day of the week I need, she is always accomadating. I know Tilly is in good hands with her and always getting attention. Tilly looks forward to going over there and always comes back happy and tired. Thank you for continuing to watch Tilly!”

About: I’m a dog trainer so I’ve worked with dogs of all temperaments so I’m willing to take the “not so friendly” pups in! I’ve worked with a minimum of 50 dogs, all boarded in my house! (Not all at the same time, hahah! As mentioned previously, I have 2 dogs of my own, not including the dogs I train, so a large portion of my days are spent caring for dogs! My dogs love being outside so they all spend a lot of time out in my backyard. I provide multiple potty breaks a day, typically between 8 and 12 each day. I will provide grooming (bath, brushing, and nails) for each dog that stays in my care! I have a kennel room which is filled with toys, beds, crates, a tv, and windows for fresh air! I’m able to house dogs that aren’t dog, cat, or child friendly as well!

“Stephanie and Max take great care of our dog when we’re visiting Williamsburg enjoying the activities. It’s great to have a place we know our dog is well cared for and having a blast.”

“We had a great experience with Qasheedra. From the moment we met, she and her family were warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to understand my dogs’ needs and routine, which really put me at ease. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for — I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”
