“Kristina was amazing! Maisey is a big girl with a lot of energy and a decent amount of leash reactivity. Kristina kept her entertained and had no problem taking her out on long walks! She sent lots of pictures and updates, helped take in packages that were delivered and even helped fix my loose doorknob!! Would absolutely hire Kristina again in the future!”

“Ashley is the absolute best! We left our puppy for the first time with Ashley, and we just knew he was in great hands. She sent us tons of photos and updates throughout her stay, and we could just tell that he was having the best time. She is so sweet and was so great with our puppy. We can’t wait to book her again!”

“Emily was outstanding, coming to our rescue with a fairly last minute booking! Our new puppy adored her from the initial meet and greet, and during the pup sitting Emily took the time to do enrichment activities with our girl, cleaned up after an accident, and provided lovely photo updates. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Aoife watched my home, my dog and my cat for a week. She was conscientious, attentive and communicative. And my animals loved her! I would definitely hire her again and I would highly recommend her to other pet parents. Thanks Aoife!”

“Viv did a great job taking care of my chocolate lab while I was out of town for 10 days. I received tons of photo updates, and she had taken my dog to several different parks.”

“Timothy was super thoughtful, communicative, and of course great with our dog! This was our first time hiring a pet setter and Timothy made the process really easy and reassuring. During our initial meet and greet, he asked questions that made it clear he was really interested in learning about Ludo’s personality/needs and how to best take care of him based on those specifics. When our schedules shifted and one of us came home early, he was adaptable to that change. I’d 100% work with Timothy again. 🌻”

“Allissa went above and beyond to help out with my puppies (that are a handful!) and my senior dog. She was punctual, communicative and allowed me to take a break knowing that my dogs are well cared for. I couldn't have asked for a more caring sitter - we were lucky to have her help our family!”

“I felt very at peace leaving June with Melissa for four days. She has extensive experience with dogs and specifically with dogs that have June’s needs. It can be tough to find a sitter who understands how to care for a dog with reactivity but Melissa made us feel comfortable from the moment we met her. We will absolutely trust her with our girl June again!”

About: While I'm new to Rover, I have many years of experience caring for my own pets (cats, an elderly dog, and birds) as well as historically being that reliable friend/co-worker who can keep furry friends company while you're out of town. I understand that sometimes your pet may need individualized care to help them manage their anxiety while away from their family, so I'm always attentive to pets' body language for signs of what they need. I work part-time from home which allows me to work around the schedule requirements of each pet I care for. This means I can make playtime, feeding, walking and hangout sessions as long and as frequent as is just-right for your furry companions. My home setting is quiet, which allows me to provide a calming setting for my temporary furry roommates! I'll be able to take your pup out for breaks as often as needed. When visiting your pets at home, I try to recreate the structures, routines, and care you outline to make the times you're away the most stress-free they can be. Reach out for any special care needs or requests!

“Tobin, thank you so much for taking great care of my dog. You followed all my detailed feeding and walking instructions. The updates and photos were much appreciated. I appreciate you coming over to meet Wavie in advance of pet sitting at our home. Wavie was very chill when we arrived. You also left the house nice and tidy. I hope you are available again to pet sit. I feel very fortunate that you were available on such short notice to stay with Wavie for 5 days. Thank so much, Brig”

“Loretta took such great care of our girls (2 full-size Standard Poodles), house, and plants while we were away for a week. In the midst of everything, Loretta was there while we were having some house work done and was excellent about keeping us updated on the home progress. She sent daily photos of our babies, and we felt very rest-assured while away. Upon our return our home was spotless and our pups seemed very happy and healthy. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to book Loretta in the future nor should you!”

About: I’ve spent my life loving and caring for dogs and cats—both my own and those of family and friends. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors with age-related illnesses, ensuring they receive the gentle care and attention they need. I’m available every day of the week but after 1:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to provide loving walks and care for your pet. Loving, reliable pet care! I keep routines, ensure comfort, and give lots of love, play, and safe walks. Special needs? I’ll accommodate! Let’s make tails wag!

“Thank you so much for taking care of Murray (the dog) and Alfie (the cat). They clearly enjoyed their time with Daisy, and it was such a relief not to have to worry about them—or the house—while I was away. I really appreciate the care and attention you gave them!”

“This was our first time using Rover so we were a bit apprehensive. Veronica was great. She watched our dog today so we could do a 1/2 day rafting trip. She was punctual and took him for a few walks. It worked out perfectly.”

“Ariel is wonderful. I originally booked her to watch my two German Shepherds for a home-sit for a long weekend. Our family got terrible news of a death in the family and I had to cut the trip short and Ariel was so kind and flexible throughout. She worked with me over the next few days to extend and ensure my pups were cared for amidst the chaos and stress of the tragedy. Additionally, she helped get the dogs through their stress of what was going on. She went above and beyond and was gracious and kind. I am so grateful to her and happy to recommend her. I know we will book her again as we have need in the future. Thank you Ariel.”

About: I grew up owning and training dogs, mostly German Sherpards, which made me comfortable around all types of dogs. I am trained to teach your dog commands such as sit, stay, wait and heel. Due to my experience with bigger & sick dogs I am able to effectively calm an excited dog down during a walk and I know how to get creative when it comes to giving your doggo their medication. I believe a dog is an extension of their own and should be treated with the upmost respect, care and love. My schedule is flexible, I am available in the mornings, afternoons and mid evenings. I am currently in between jobs and have a lot of time during the week to care for your doggie. I have a fenced yard which is perfect for your dog to play in, I do not have carpeted floors which is beneficial in case there is an accident. I am also able to crate tracing your dog.

“Charlie had a wonderful time with Mayra for a week! Mayra is very responsive and sent various pictures and updates. Mayra even got Charlie treats (which he kind of tricked her into by dragging her to his favorite pet store). Charlie is already missing Mayra’s back scratches 😊”

About: Hi there! I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Being a college student away from home I would love to get my animal fix by providing the best care possible for your pets! Schedule wise- I do work a 9-5 job! My visits / walks are best for early morning and evening. While corporate America takes up 8 hours of my day, I think it's extremely important to still do activities that fill my cup. Petsitting is one of those activities. I have five years of experience with pet/child care in the homes of others so I am confident in my skills to take care of your pet in your household. With pets of my own, I understand the trust it takes to allow someone else to take care of your pets. In order to ensure your confidence and comfort in me, I like to do a meet and greet before the first walk, or drop in visit. This way you can have a hassle free vacation, day trip, or sports game without any worries about your pets!
