About: I’ve taken care of dogs for around nine years, I have experience with walking, feeding, keeping an eye on, and generally caring for pets. I have experience working with small puppies and large dogs. At the moment, I work part time in town and will have plenty availability to care for your pets. Usually I work about one day on the weekend so I will be available at all other times. At my home, I have experience handling my two standard poodles in a small enclosed backyard, I would be comfortable taking care of your dog in an enclosed environment or while on a leash.

About: I have taken care of pups of all ages since I was 14 for family members and friends. I’m experienced with giving pups medication and caring for puppies that are 3 weeks old and pups 14 years old. I also potty trained all my pets and taught them fun tricks like giving me their paw, sitting, and speaking. Overall I love playing with dogs and giving them the best attention/care that I can. I’m very flexible when it comes to weekends and weekdays. Although I can’t start no earlier than 9 a.m. and I can’t work not later than 9 p.m. Unless I’m required to sit for consecutive days in the clients house. Unfortunately my services do not include in bringing the pet back to my home, but I can provide the best care for pets wherever it is required.

About: I grew up having a German Shepherd, but since it was a family pet I did not consider those as years in pet care. However, 2 years ago I got my own dog. I am certain I can take care of a puppy and older. Though my dog now stays with my parents since school has become difficult, I lived with her last year, so I know the amount of care an attention a dog needs on top of staying on track with my school work. I only work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but can be free after 5pm. Weekends can be free all day days. If you’re pet can’t be left alone for multiple hours then feel free to just send a message with your booking and let me know :) I promise I will take the absolute best care of your pet. I have had 2 dogs and 1 cat. I deeply care about all of them, so I know how hard it can be to trust a stranger to take care of a pet. About: I’ve had over 35 years experience caring for dogs, cats and even a couple bearded dragons. I’ve house trained 3 puppies and participated in training classes for both the dogs we currently have and a couple in the past. Over the years I’ve cared for countless pets for my friends and family and I’d love to care for yours. My husband and I own a small business so I work for myself and set my own hours which are minimal. I’m mom to two adult children so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I’m centrally located in Santa Cruz and I’d be happy to come to your house for dog walks or pet sitting. We have two friendly dogs and one cat at home to keep your dog company with a completely fenced in yard and plenty of time for frequent walks.

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: Hello! I've always had pets as a kid, dogs and cats, and have had our family dog for 10 years. His name is Toby and he is a weenie terrier mix! I have had such great experiences with Rover and decided I would like to play with the doggies too! For dog walking I can also bring my dog if you would like to have your dog socialize on their walk. I can also take them to local dog parks if that's preferred over a walk around the neighborhood. Your choice! I use a seatbelt for the dog in the car and a cover for the seat so no worries there. We always have fun going to the dog parks and meeting all the dogs and their people! I work at a school so I have times when I have completely open availability and times I am not available as much. Summer and winter are pretty open availability. I don't bring my pupper to others homes. I give your doggo 100% of my attention and companionship. I absolutely loath when I have to leave my dog alone, so I'm so grateful for people who do this service too! I also use Rover for my busier times of work and when boarding.

About: I’ve lived my whole life growing up with dogs in my family home, and I’ve dog sat for neighbors, family, and friends. I’ve also walked dogs around the neighborhood. I’m currently a student at UCSC. I love hiking, going to the beach, and going for walks. I’d love to have the chance to care for someone’s pet. I am available every day. I have a lot of free time to spend with people’s pets. I’m currently a student at UCSC, so pet sitting on the side would be a great chance for me to make extra money! I live in a two bedroom apartment in Santa Cruz. I have one roommate who loves animals. I also love animals. I have plenty of space for an animal to roam around and feel comfortable, and I have a space to put a crate or a dog bed. Usually when I first meet a pet, I introduce myself and try to get a sense of what the animal is feeling. If they’re shy, I give space, if they’re friendly, I’m open to cuddling for hours. Next to my apartment there is a park that I love to take the dogs I dogsit. It’s a very nice walk. If I am watching someone’s pet, they are welcome to roam around freely in my apartment if they’d like.
