“Kira was great! We hired her to come to our vacation AirB&B for two evenings when friends we were visiting didn't want animals in their home. Kira spent a few hours with our dog, so we could have dinner with our friends at their house. Kira arrived and was right away in control (clearly, she has some dog-handling experience), and our dog seemed happy. We'll definitely hire her again the next time we visit our friends!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals. Five years ago I adopted two cats who I absolutely adore. I helped raise my roommate’s puppy and have walked/cared for dogs and cats at shelters. I have trusted Rover to find a perfect fit for my cats when I needed a sitter and I want to be that loving and reliable person for someone else now. I am currently taking some time off from my full time job so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets at any time of the day! I am happy to tailor my services to the needs of your pet/s. I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My dog is friendly, well-socialized, and enjoys playing with other pets. With your permission, I’m also happy to provide high-quality photos during each visit, so you can see your pet happy and content. I currently work full-time in a hybrid position, which means I’m home about 3 out of 5 weekdays. I’m also available most weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors. During the warmer months, I often take my dog to the dog park for play and exercise. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship, whether we're relaxing at home or enjoying time outside. I do my best to ensure each pet feels safe, happy, and part of the family during their stay. I have an open, unfenced yard, so for safety, all pets will be leashed while outside. We also have a spacious deck where your pet can relax and enjoy the summer breeze. Inside the home, your pet will be free to roam and play under supervision. My own dog is friendly and happy to provide companionship if your pet enjoys socializing. I have a medium-sized crate available if needed, and plenty of toys to keep your pet engaged. Fresh water will always be available, and your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities.

Most recently, I provided attentive, full-time care for two dogs and five cats over the course of a month in a family household whilst they were on vacation. About: For over 30 years animals have been a very significant and impactful part of my life. Growing up my family always had animals in the house. From household pets to caring for cats off the street, I have gotten to see the amazing capabilities of all different types of creautures. Being able to witness the intelligence of these animals, while also getting to know different personalities and watch them open up after first being hesitant has been a blessing. 5 years ago I turned my passion for animals into a career, and I have built up my clientele mainly through word of mouth, but also by apps such as Facebook, Next door, etc. I am now on Rover to further expand my cliental base and reach new people who may not be on any other social media platforms. I have experience with all types of breeds, administering medications, and working with problem behaviors. This is what I do full-time besides taking care of my two kids. I have tons of availability to care for, love on, and play with your dog or cat (or any animal that may need attention)! I take last minute calls, short term, and long term jobs The most important thing to me when caring for my pets is the safety and comfortability of the space they are in. Whether it may be within the animals own home or my own, my goal is to establish a positive bond with your pet and create a safe and nurturing environment that will lessen the stress and anxiety of being away from family. Integrity and reliability is what I stand by with my care. Dogs that I board in my home are taken on daily walks. With permission I will happily bring them along on adventures to dog parks, hiking trails, and so much more! When dropping in for an at home visit the dogs are also walked and played with. If there is a fenced in backyard I'll take your pup out to play fetch, expel energy, and get some exercise in.
