About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.

The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)
