About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
“I have to be honest, I was hesitant to leave my two best friends with a complete stranger. Addison didn’t feel like a stranger within 5 seconds of meeting him in person. Him and his family took such great care of my boys, and put my mind completely at ease while I was out of town for Christmas. Daily pictures and check-ins were sent to me unprompted, which I could not have been more appreciative of. About: (My pets listed in my profile do not live with me at my address so if boarding with me your pets will be the only ones in my home.) I have taken care of a multitude of animals from a young age being entrusted with neighbors, family and friend's pets. My experience includes working with dogs (of all sizes and temperaments), cats, rodents, reptiles, goats, rabbits, chickens, horses and birds. I even took care of some wonderful peregrine falcons once. From a young age I worked in animal rehabilitation and have nursed infant animals and enjoy nothing more than being able to spend time and play with such wonderful creatures. I have also taken puppy training classes in the past and plan to have a future career with animals. Over the summer I work as a server and as such would likely be away for 3-4 hour periods usually in the evenings. However, I recognize the attention and care animal caretaking requires and will happily work with you to make sure your pet gets the love and attention needed while you are away. I am able to take 1-2 animals into my own home with a size constraint on larger pets due to my buildings regulations. I would like to note that I do live in an apartment complex however I am right next to walking and hiking paths. Additionally, I do live with a roommate who is also a huge animal lover. When house sitting, for pets of any size or kind I am always willing to come into your home and will treat such a space with the utmost respect.

My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)

About: I have owned dogs all my life, crazy puppies, relaxed seniors, and very hyper dogs. I can handle reactive dogs, and keep up with high energy runners. I will always bring your doggies home happy and tired! I am currently a senior in high school, and I have a part time job. Days that I can care for your pets are Saturdays before 3pm, Sundays at any time, and Wednesdays after 4. I have a large, fully fenced yard for your dog to run around in, a room with a puppy gate, and an orthopedic doggy pad for car travel.

Natalie was a great caregiver for my cattle dog, who she agreed to care for with just a week’s notice, after I had to cancel a boarding reservation due to my dog unexpectedly getting a cough. Adrienne was communicative and transparent with some anxiety our dog was experiencing, and was flexibile and willing to go out of her way to accomodate her. She sent regular videos and pictures, letting us know our dog was happy and busy while we were out of town. Would recommend 100%!
Verena was marvelous with our two energetic Shelties. They had a wonderful time, and we felt secure with them in her care. I love the photos and videos throughout their visit. Verena is great with dogs and goes out of her way to make them feel safe, relaxed, exercised and happy.
Tara was very knowledgable about special needs dogs, and was so communicative while we were away. She was attentive, sensitive to our dog's needs, and very kind. She sent us pictures of a happy and relaxed pup, which was so nice since it was our first time working together . We would absolutely trust her to take care of our dog again!
Alexis and her partner provide an out-of-town daycare and boarding service for pups, providing pick-up and drop-off, which is really great if you have a busy schedule or kids, like I do. They proposed a trial daycare, showing that they vet dogs before agreeing to take them on for longer spans of time. It's important to them that the dogs get along and are well-behaved with each other, which helped me feel comfortable with boarding my little girl there while I'm on vacation. They were kind to my shy girl, getting her carefully acclimated to the other dogs and giving her time to adjust. They sent me regular photos and updates, showing me how she was doing. She has a hot spot, so they were good about monitoring that and keeping her in good condition. She came back, happy and tired and hot spot none for the worse--which was great! I'm confident she was in safe hands and had a good day socializing with other dogs!
