About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.

About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.

I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”
About: I always had (multiple)dogs growing up and love them more than most things. I now have my own dog, plus my partners 2 dogs. It’s a full house. Experience: -I have watched dogs for many families -I have taken care of diabetic dogs requiring a strict diet and medication - I am super careful about any special requirements or restrictions-- my dog has opened my eyes to sensitives like no other. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)

Him and his family took such great care of my boys, and put my mind completely at ease while I was out of town for Christmas. Natalie was a great caregiver for my cattle dog, who she agreed to care for with just a week’s notice, after I had to cancel a boarding reservation due to my dog unexpectedly getting a cough. She sent picture updates and was a responsive communicator and attentive, thoughtful host for Josie. Thank you Natalie!
Adrienne was communicative and transparent with some anxiety our dog was experiencing, and was flexibile and willing to go out of her way to accomodate her. She sent regular videos and pictures, letting us know our dog was happy and busy while we were out of town. Would recommend 100%!
Verena was marvelous with our two energetic Shelties. They had a wonderful time, and we felt secure with them in her care. I love the photos and videos throughout their visit. Verena is great with dogs and goes out of her way to make them feel safe, relaxed, exercised and happy.
Tara was very knowledgable about special needs dogs, and was so communicative while we were away. She was attentive, sensitive to our dog's needs, and very kind. She sent us pictures of a happy and relaxed pup, which was so nice since it was our first time working together . We would absolutely trust her to take care of our dog again!
Alexis and her partner provide an out-of-town daycare and boarding service for pups, providing pick-up and drop-off, which is really great if you have a busy schedule or kids, like I do. They proposed a trial daycare, showing that they vet dogs before agreeing to take them on for longer spans of time. It's important to them that the dogs get along and are well-behaved with each other, which helped me feel comfortable with boarding my little girl there while I'm on vacation. They were kind to my shy girl, getting her carefully acclimated to the other dogs and giving her time to adjust. They sent me regular photos and updates, showing me how she was doing. She has a hot spot, so they were good about monitoring that and keeping her in good condition. She came back, happy and tired and hot spot none for the worse--which was great! I'm confident she was in safe hands and had a good day socializing with other dogs!
