“We have booked Jewel multiple times to care for our two cats and house sit for us. She is great! It's so nice to have someone we can rely on when we go out of town.”

“Willow was prompt, compassionate, caring, and respectful of my home. Sydney took to her right away and was a happy pup when I returned. Willow helped me out in a pinch and I am grateful for that.”

“Camille went above and beyond! We’re so glad we found her! I genuinely looked forward to reading what she wrote after each check-in and seeing the new pictures. She’s awesome we 10/10 recommend”

“Annie took on our two spoiled indoor kitties. She was on time every day, reported on the kitties, and sent some really cute pictures. Everything was shipshape when we got home. We were thankful to have such conscientious TLC for “the boys” while we were out of town.”

“Arianna was awesome, able to come meet our cats and start drop-in visits on short notice while we were away for vacation. She was proactive, responsive, genuinely sweet with the cats, great about sending pics, and took care of everything we needed. Thank you so much Ari! Will definitely book again next time.”

“Paulina is such a kind and sweet person. She was cheerful about helping me last minute and was prompt and responsible while being kind and gentle with my puppy and older dog who require different energy levels!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 15 years, from corgis, akidas, springer spaniels, golden retriever, toy poodles, etc. I’m an active runner/hiker who loves taking dogs outside for long walks in nature. If your pet is older and just needs a short walk and a good belly scratch, that’s fine too. I have a flexible schedule with few commitments in May & June. I’m hoping to fill my schedule with either regularly scheduled walks or caretaking for a pet over the holidays. I follow the guidelines set by you to take care of your best friend(s). I typically have fed & walked pets, often housesitting for weeks.
About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child- my dad rescued my dog, rosie, when I was 9 years old. I know all of the responsibilities that come with raising a furry friend, and I will gladly face any challenges in order to improve my skills and service. I am honored to work alongside you, as well as your dog. I work part-time, as I attend high school. I am avaliable 5-7am and 4-12pm on weeknights. I am also avaliable to spend the night, too. I care for dogs, as cats are not yet in my field of experience. I am able to run, walk, feed, love and give attention to your fur babies as needed. In addition, I am prepared for any mess and will always leave the house tidied and cleaned up.
“Skylar was great with our elderly cat Lucky! Lucky usually hides from anyone who isn’t family, but she let Skylar take her picture and even accepted Nulo Treat from her. Skylar was flexible as our schedule changed a little and even helped us navigate the Rover app. I highly recommend her.”

“Sophia was fantastic! One of my cats got so stressed missing us that he ended up having blood in his urine - she spotted it and communicated to me right away so we could get him to a vet and get meds. She was a great communicator and clearly very sweet and caring with my boys. I will definitely book her again! Thank you!”

“Lia took great care of my cat. She sent me detailed updates and my cat seemed to really like her, which is a rarity! It was extra sweet that she crocheted my kitty a little catnip mouse, it was so cute and thoughtful!”

About: I have always had many pets in my house. I currently take care of my 3 cats and have 3 dogs at home who i love dearly. I go to school part-time at WWU in Bellingham, WA and work a part-time job. Pet care is the perfect hobby for me because I love animals and spending time with my pets. I walk my dogs regularly and clean litter boxes, as well as food and water bowls, and, keep my animals happy and cuddled! I also bathe my dogs and groom them. I am happy to provide any extra care and love to your pets!
“We really appreciated Leslie walking our dog for a last minute request. She was very responsive and communication was easy. She even offered some helpful training tips. Thanks!”

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!
“Stone was terrific!! The dogs immediately loved her from the first time they met her. We never worried about them in her care. She even took them for walks! She went above and beyond. We will definitely have her back again!”

About: I've had pets my entire life, so as soon as I was old enough, I started dog sitting and walking. I love animals of all kind and can't wait to meet yours! The following is my technical experience in the field: Maggie (my own dog): Maggie was the third dog I've ever had and the first of which I was able to truly help with. We got her when she was a puppy and she's a Vizsla so she has always had boundless energy. I helped with her training when she was a puppy and she's pulled the leash her whole life so I have experience with that as well. Again, she has always been extremely energetic. In sum, Maggie has helped me learn how to: - Care for a puppy - Walk a dog that pulls - Entertain a dog with boundless energy Kona My professional experience with dog walking and sitting was with an elder dog named Kona. I worked with him for just about 4 years part time. Kona had two parents who both worked full time jobs and had a horse at another location so I would go over when they were gone all day and spend time with him, take him on short walks, and occasionally to the dog park. Kona really helped me to understand the intricacies of working with an elder dog, and although he's gone now, I think about the time I spent with him regularly. Kona helped me learn how to: - Care for an elder dog - Stimulate a dog with limited ability _ Read a dogs body language and have patience with them I am currently in full time school and not working in a formal setting. I am unavailable most mid-days however I'm completely free on the weekends. The following is a schedule of my open availability: Monday: 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Tuesday: 6:00am-11:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Wednesday: 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Thursday: 6:00am-11:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Friday: 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday: 6:00am-10:00pm Sunday: 6:00am-10:00pm As a pre-note, I wanted to say that I have an official work resume with references if you would like to see that before we meet in person. Dog Walking I do not have any supplies of my own however I have used many different types of leash and harness in the past. I am physically able and comfortable walking long or short distances at varying paces. On longer walks, I will carry water and dog bags with my the entire time. Pet Sitting I will maintain your pets schedule and follow any guidelines of being in your space. I do not offer dog sitting in my home as I live in a building with three other people, I would be more than happy to watch your dog in your home. I am open to meeting your dog with you there before the official sitting date as I know some dogs are sensitive to new people. I am comfortable feeding and entertaining your pup as I have been around dogs my entire life. I will also be aware of any emergency contact information that would be necessary in an emergency. House Sitting I will ensure the home is secure, and perform basic tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, and maintaining cleanliness. I understand that I will be in your space and am open to following any rules you might have for your home.

Jewel did a great job taking care of our 2 cats while we were on vacation! Even our one usually very shy cat absolutely loved her! She was very communicative and sent lots of great daily updates and pictures. We would not hesitate to book Jewel again. Thank you!

Sophia is the sweetest. I forgot to cancel a drop in and she showed up and was so gracious about me wasting her time. She's so sweet with my pups and they love her! My little one, Mabel, recently got injured and I really appreciated that Sophia followed my special instructions to carry her out to the yard and back so Mabel didn't make her injury worse. Thank you Sophia!

She was absolutely wonderful! Attentive, communicative, and so thoughtful about sending pictures of my kitties, just as I’d asked. One of my cats decided to take it upon himself to demolish a potted plant while I was away, and Willow cleaned up the whole mess without hesitation—and rescued my plant. When I got home, both of my kitties were happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I can’t recommend her enough and will definitely be booking with her again.

Katarina was amazing with our sweet senior boy. She came to the house for outdoor time while we were away on vacation and was so gentle with him. I wish we were local, but anytime we’re in the area, she is absolutely who I will call. I’d trust her with Winston anytime. Highly recommend!
