About: I have dog walking and sitting experience for giant all the way down to miniature breeds. I also have a lot of experience with multi-dog households. I adore all animals but dogs have my whole heart and you can place full trust in me to do right by your dog. I am a college student so when I am not actively attending class on campus, I can be with your pet. I am very active and am happy to run, walk, or take your pet to the park frequently. As I live in an apartment with roommates and a cat that is not my own, I don’t plan to take your pet to my home.

About: I have been fascinated by animals all my life and deeply care for all of them. My family always had at least 1 dog at home and we would often have other animals such as fish, a chameleon, or a stick bug. I frequently helped care for other pets around the neighborhood when asked to do so and still enjoy stopping to say hi to many of them on walks. Most of my experience, however, comes from my work history. I have worked almost exclusively at various kennels since I was old enough to work at around 16. While the vast majority of the animals I cared for were dogs, I also got some experience with cats, birds, and even rabbits once or twice. Because of my prior work experience, I am very good at handling dogs of all kinds and don't get grossed out by messes. I am a college student at Western Washington University. So, starting on the 23rd I will be available after 11am M&F, after 1:30 T&Th, and after 5 on W. The Weekends I should be completely free unless I have plans. Within these available times I can show up as needed to care for your pet. For walks I will initially say hi and give your pup some pets as I gear them up for their stroll. As far as the walk itself goes, I will always let the dog go at their own pace and will generally try and be out for around an hour in your neighborhood unless I am requested not to. For walk-ins and house sitting I will begin by giving your doggo some cuddles before quickly letting them outside to go potty. Afterwards I will scan the house or crate for messes and clean any that may have surfaced. Following cleanup I will take them out to either play or go for a walk depending on owner preference and then feed them according to owner specifications (Feeding and exercise can be interchanged depending on timing and instruction). In this time I can also send updates to you about how everyone's doing! From there I will likely either sit with the pet for a little and leave if I am just checking in or try and do some school work or something if I am house sitting. I will make sure to follow all instructions and reach out for help if I have any questions. Thank you for trusting me with your pet(s)!

Depending on their energy level and age, they'll get adventurous runs and hikes, a fun fetch playtime, or a gentle walk around the block, and of course plenty of cuddles when it's time to wind down. Why you can trust me: For the past 5 years, I've been caring for my friends' dogs, from quick walks and feeding check-ins to long overnight stays. With that said, I have lots of flexibility with my time and availability to work with your schedule and daily/weekly routines and needs. I have both had dogs stay with me in my home. I live in a 2 story townhouse with a small back patio. I have kept small and large dogs here without any issue. Usually I take dogs on a bathroom walk around the neighborhood, and for running or hiking, take them on trails. I have a running/bungee leash I use for running, but can use whatever harness, collar, and leash is preferred by the dog and owner. I have room for a crate if needed for overnight stays, but it would need to be provided as I do not own one. I have an SUV, and room for a dog bed and can hold a large dog in the back to transport for hikes or trail runs as needed.

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. About: I’ve grown up owning and caring for many different dogs and cats, from small Chihuahuas to a Great Dane, so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve also cared for up to five dogs at a time, so I’m comfortable keeping up with multiple pets and making sure each one gets the attention and care they need. I’m also a proud cat mom to two cats of my own, and they mean the world to me! I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and animals are my happy place!! I’m currently studying to become a vet tech, which has always been a dream of mine. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I’d love to give your pets plenty of love, attention, and exercise! I live in Bellingham and attend school full-time online, which gives me a very flexible schedule.
