“Zoe was wonderful, and I will definitely book her again! She went above and beyond for my kitty. Her gentle patience was exactly what he needed to feel comfortable, allowing him to open up and play. Playtime for my younger kitty was very important to me. Thanks, Zoe!!”

“It’s been great having Maddy come by to give my two girls a pee-break, treats and some attention in the middle of my workday. She send great pictures and rundowns of her visit. I will definitely be booking her again :)”
“Lizz was so wonderful caring for our two kitties while we were away. She was so great about sending us regular updates. You leave for a while and wonder how they’re doing. We could tell from the photos and updates she shared, just how well they were being cared for. We will definitely call on Lizz again!”

“Autumn eased my mind while I was at work by watching my puppy and attending to her quite often. She did what I asked and my pup was able to have a friend to hangout with all day.”

“This is the first time I've used Rover and was happy to have Emily as our three cats' sitter! She did a great job caring for them - following the instructions I left and going above and beyond when our older kitty became finicky with her food. I appreciated receiving daily pictures of the kitties and a comment from Emily. It helped me to know the kitties were being well taken care of. I like Emily's attention to detail, too. When I arrived home, the kitties appeared happy and relaxed. I plan to reach out to Emily for future pet-sitting.”

“Anna was terrific. I had just moved to a new town, where I didn't know anybody, a few days before when I had to leave suddenly for a family emergency. I needed to be gone for at least a week. My cats hadn't even had time to adjust after the move. Anna accepted a last minute request, and remained flexible as plans changed in the unsettled situation I faced. Her updates were thorough, and a break from the stressful situation I faced. My cats grew to love her, and I returned to three very happy and well adjusted cats.”

“Azure has a great manor with the animals that is apparent immediately. She checked in on my dogs and cat while I was away from home and I got feedback and photos. Very reliable!”

“Paulina is fantastic! Communication was great and she had no trouble giving our cat his daily thyroid medicine. Our cat is very shy and usually hides from strangers, so we were pleasantly surprised to see he felt so comfortable that he gave her some couch snuggles on the first visit. We would absolutely trust our cat in her care again!”

“Sene was great! She was willing to watch my new puppy for an hour with very short notice, quick to respond, and was great with communication. She kept me updated with messages, pictures, and videos and I came home to very calm and happy pup!”

“Flannery is the best!! I always feel OK being away from my dear kitty when Flannery is there to watch her!! Thank you so much Flannery for your loving care!!”

“Camille was very sweet and caring to my cat! She really cared about the specific routine we have and sticking to the instructions and tips I left. She left detailed notes through the app and lots of adorable pictures. It was good to know my cat was comfortable with her and enjoyed having someone there to care for her while I was gone.”

“Danielle is the absolute best! She’s reliable, caring, and clearly loves dogs—mine is always so happy after their walks. I have total peace of mind knowing my pup is in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

“I always book Kayli since I know my pup LOVES her! I highly recommend booking her for check ins and walks. My pup comes home tired/happy and unharmed. What more could I want? :)”

“I hired Natalie for seven visits to attend to my cat while I was gone for a long weekend. She was on time for each visits and sent me photographs of my cat Grey Cloud when she completed a half hour with him. He was fed and his litter box scooped as I instructed. This was my first time hiring a pet sitter and it was well worth it.”

About: I worked for Wag as a dog walker for 3 years and have countless breeds of dogs and varieties of pet care experience under my belt. I have taken care of young puppies who are still being house-trained to senior dogs that are near-blind or need diaper changes. I love them all and I am always very excited to make a new dog friend. I will happily run with your dog, take them to the dog park, or just keep them company for as long as they need. I have overcome many challenges while being a dog walker/sitter such as cleaning up unexpected pet accidents or encouraging stubborn dogs to go on walks. I currently have only two commitments per week leaving the rest of my schedule open for dog sitting and dog walks. I will gladly take dogs out in the morning or at night. I am unable to have other pets in my home, but I will gladly come to a client's home and stay overnight with their pet. I try to stay as vigilant as possible to the pet's needs and I can easily adapt to whatever their normal routine is.
“Ruby was amazing! My animals were not stressed when we came back from a 1 week trip. They appeared happy and well cared for. Ruby was communicative and sent so many cute photos! Thank you so much for caring for our babies!”
“Stone was terrific!! The dogs immediately loved her from the first time they met her. We never worried about them in her care. She even took them for walks! She went above and beyond. We will definitely have her back again!”

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.
“Jewel is an excellent, reliable and very professional sitter. She cares about her work and the welfare of your pet. Every visit is documented with pictures. I would recommend Jewel to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

About: I have grown up with rescue puppies and have been caring for animals in my home for almost my entire life. I want to be an Animal-Assisted Therapist after college and will always surround myself with animals, whether it’s helping them, having them help people, or for companionship. I am currently in college with classes every weekday. Your pet will be, at max, left alone for 5hrs. I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I will make sure they are happy and comfortable. I will be sure to follow all instructions given and clean up after your pet and myself. I will be honest about everything that happens and will always keep you updated on your pet, including pictures of your pup/kitty!
Puget pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lizz is a champ! She was able to wrangle my four dogs single handedly! Everyone made it home and looked pleased as pie that they had made a new friend, who gave them a car ride and dinner!! We are happy to have Lizz and can’t wait to have her take care of the pups again 🥳

Really appreciated the walks while we were away today. Upon return, Topo seemed chill and cared for. She took extra effort to give him Frozen Kongs during his times alone. She also had a lot of patience with my instructions. This was the first time I used Rover in many years. Will absolutely be booking her again. Cheers!

Rebekah was fantastic with our senior cat, Mojo! She was very responsive in setting things up initially and she wrote detailed updates accompanied by lots of pictures for every visit. Based on all our interactions in person and via Rover, I felt fully confident that Mojo was in good hands. We would definitely have her look after Mojo again!

Teagan was a wonderful cat sitter! Trustworthy and kind, she was gentle and loving with our cats. She was reliable and communicative, sending us consistent updates while we were away. I felt very comfortable with her coming/going from our home and knew our cats were being well cared for. I highly recommend her!
