About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little kid, ranging from mini Australian shepherds to retrievers, labs and German shepherds. This means I have experience training young puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I also have experience with taking dogs on runs (since I love to run), which helps with high-energy dogs. I love dogs and am more than happy to help other people with pet care since I know finding the right person for the job can be difficult. :) I’m a teacher so this summer I’m earning some extra cash by nannying and dogsitting. I’m available 4-5 days a week including the weekends (and have no problem helping in the early mornings and late nights), so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m very willing to fit multiple in-house visits and dog walking/running into my routine. I care for pets in my clients’ homes so I am skilled in giving all pets the attention they need both inside and outside the home, including playing with them, taking them on walks and runs, or just sitting down and keeping them company depending on the age and needs they require. I take pride in fulfilling all pets’ routines and owners’ expectations.
“Gabrielle says she will "treat your pet like family." She certainly does! She gave our little dog plenty of attention and care, including just hanging out with her during the visits. We highly recommend Gabrielle as a pet sitter, and she also took care of some other chores and made sure our Gekko had water, etc.”

“Havana took great care of our cats and she was very attentive to the details including medications, water, food and litter needs. We'd be happy to contact her in the future.”

“adrianna was so communicative and kind! my shyer kitty seemed to warm up to her very quickly. i appreciated the thorough updates and pictures. when we encountered a travel nightmare on our way home and had to extend our absence, she was very helpful and supportive.”

“Madelyne went above and beyond taking care of my cat. She exceeded my expectations, as well as sent me daily text messages, videos, and pictures of my precious Julia. 10 out of 10 stars for sure. I highly recommend her if you want your pet more than well taken care of. ❤️❤️I’ll definitely use her again.”

“Anna was terrific. I had just moved to a new town, where I didn't know anybody, a few days before when I had to leave suddenly for a family emergency. I needed to be gone for at least a week. My cats hadn't even had time to adjust after the move. Anna accepted a last minute request, and remained flexible as plans changed in the unsettled situation I faced. Her updates were thorough, and a break from the stressful situation I faced. My cats grew to love her, and I returned to three very happy and well adjusted cats.”

“I was extremely skeptical about hiring a sitter for my cats while we were on vacation as I can be very overprotective and hadn’t ever left them with someone who wasn’t a close friend or relative but Flannery completely changed my opinion and I will definitely be hiring her again if the need arises. She was absolutely incredible from the very beginning. She set up a meet and greet with us and immediately put my partner and I at ease with her pet care knowledge and obvious love and compassion for animals. My cats liked her right away and every visit she sent photos and videos of them playing or eating and provided detailed updates on their actions and behavior. It was a great comfort to know the they were so well looked after while we were away. Thank you so much Flannery!!”

“Emily is so wonderful! She provided prompt communication and lots of cute pictures of my boys! They loved cuddling her and I felt so safe knowing she was caring for them. Thank you Emily!”

“Leslie was amazing with my two pups and such a great find for a last minute booking! She was accommodating and great with communication. This was my first time using Rover and I was not sure how my pups would be with a new person as one of them can be anxious. They warmed up to Leslie right away and there were no issues. I appreciated the detailed check ins and pictures at every visit and felt very reassured my dogs were being well taken care of. I will definitely be using Leslie again! Highly recommend!”

About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!
“I've already written a review, but wanted to write another because Jewel really is fantastic. One of our cats is on medication and getting him to take it can be a challenge, even for us! Jewel tried everything and found a way to get him to eat them, no problem! We are so thankful! Always recommending :)”

Whatcom Falls pet parents share their Rover experiences
My cats trust, love, and appreciate Tricia. She is a calm and loving presence for them when we go out of town for a few days. She spends time with them so they’re not so anxious or lonely. She always sends us photos and notes from each visit. We are extremely grateful that we found Tricia!

I was so happy with Abby as my dog's sitter while I was out of town. She was very professional and thorough in gathering details before the drop in times. And was very communicative during the entire time I was away. I felt assured that my dog was getting the best care. Would happily have her watch Perseus again.

We couldn’t be happier with Taylor! From day one, it was clear how much she genuinely cared about animals. Our dogs absolutely light up every time she arrives which says everything you need to know. She is reliable, professional, and always goes the extra mile—whether it’s making sure our dogs get the perfect amount of exercise, sending updates and photos, or just giving a little extra attention and love. It gives us real peace of mind knowing our pups are in such capable and caring hands. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and truly exceptional with dogs, we highly recommend Taylor shes made a huge difference for both us and our Pups
