About: Growing up I always had a dog around the house that I took care of and I still dog sit from time to time for friends. I have experience administering medicine to dogs and feel comfortable handling larger dogs during walks. As for older dogs I have lots of patience when it comes to helping them get around the house, make sure they eat their food, or simply get outside for a short walk. Being a runner I have extensive knowledge of the trails around Bellingham and will find the best smells for your dogs during their walks. Currently I'm part time as a personal trainer and typically have hour long gaps during the day between sessions. Being an early riser I can check on pets early in the mornings as well as mid day and at night. When caring for pets at a client's home my first priority when I walk in is to greet their dogs and show them how excited I am to see them. When playing with dogs I always pick up toys after play time and dry up any water splashed out of the dog bowl. Before leaving I like to take the dog out one more time even if they have already gone to the bathroom to ensure no accidents in the house occur between my visits.

About: There’s nothing I’ve ever found myself to be more passionate about than animals. I myself have had cats and dogs all my life, and axolotl, and even a bird. I recently left the veterinary medicine field where I was a technician for 10 years. I gave up vet med to be a nanny but am missing my furry friends! I currently am a nanny for an infant. My schedule can vary, but am always available after 5pm everyday and flexible on weekends. I usually have one day off during the week. I am capable of just about anything. Feedings, medication administration, walks, playtime in the yard. I can provide minimal care as well as more extensive care if needed.
