About: My pet care experience began when I joined a humane society volunteer program where I worked for 6 years and became a shift lead. Later, I worked at a doggy daycare and overnight pet hotel. There I worked with specific dog’s needs and care as well as managed a group of up to 60 free-roaming dogs (yes, it was as amazing as it sounds) I have worked as a pet sitter and dog walker for most of my life, and I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have also worked with horses for most of my life and in the summers I care for horses on a large farm. They are pretty much a bunch of big, funny, puppies. I am formally trained in: -Dog first aide and CPR -Dog, cat, and small animal body language and care -Dog Bathing -Basic obedience training I am currently a recent WWU graduate working a part-time job. Being in my gap year after school, most of my time is flexible and social. I’m looking to fill some of my free time working with cute pets! While I do have a good foundation in general pet care, pet safety, and dog behavior, I prioritize the individual needs of the dog. I may have experience with many pets but no one knows your dog better than you. Care, to me, is about open communication and making sure your pup is happy!

I have been pet sitting on and off since I was 18 and have been trusted by friends, family, and my community to take care of their precious animals. I grew up with dogs and cats and am so grateful for the joy they brought me. I would love to get to know you and your family of furry friends! I currently have so much flexibility in my schedule and am free all day Monday to Thursday as well as weekends if asked in advance. I am available throughout the day and night for periodic check in’s and walks. I am free all day on the weekends and can do holidays as well. My pets always come first.
