I met her at Bloedel Donavan Park during off-leash hours where we bring our dogs most mornings for some fetch and play time. After my surgery, my big boy Yogi was really bored and missed his outings. Lucky for him (and me), Michele has been taking him for work outs. Yogi is an 3 year-old Aussie/Border Collie/Maremma Sheepdog mix (think smart, sensitive, ball of energy). He's kind of shy but jumps into her car rearing to go and she brings me back a happy, relaxed dog. It's a good thing that Michele is here to care for Yogi Bear while I am on the mend!”

About: I am just starting out with Rover and would love to get to know more dogs in Bellingham! I have a 6 year old and a one year old dog at home! They are both labradoodles and I love them more than anything! I am super active and I love to take them out on adventures around Washington. I am back home from college for the summer and have a very flexible schedule! I can work around your needs and schedule as necessary. I am experienced with taking care of dogs of all ages and will keep careful attention of them. I have two dogs at home to keep them company if needed.

About: I started dog walking for neighbors in 2001 and continued to do so off and on for a decade. I pet sit for my neighbors in 2011 in exchange for the wifi password. I have a one-story apartment with a partially fenced yard and lots of natural light. I am one of those people who 100% crawls around on all fours to play with animals, regardless of my scoliosis. I have a relatively set sleeping schedule so the pets who board with me will have some sort of consistent structure for however long they are with me. I have a series of beds from a previous pet as well as a baby gate for sunny days and a set of stairs for my bed if needed for older/special needs animals. I work a full-time job that is a 10-minute drive from my place and the lunches are 30 minutes long. This works well for boarding since they will never have to be alone for more than 4.5 hours. I have Fridays and Saturdays off and I like to use them for Adventure Days. The manager for my apartment complex is aware that I am a pet sitter and will be informed when there are pets in my apartment. Though this information is not relevant to the animals, it is relevant to my emotional wellbeing: my pronouns are they/them/theirs. Thank you for being an ally!
