About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both cats and dogs. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me over the years to help care for their fur babies, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, or simply helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their humans are away. I’m calm, dependable, highly detail-oriented, and understand how important routines and communication are when it comes to pet care. I’m especially comfortable with cats and small to medium-sized dogs, and I’m always happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away, or just so you can see their sweet little face. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone truly trustworthy, attentive, and kind to care for your furry family members. As a high school teacher, my schedule is very routine-oriented, which makes me dependable and organized when caring for pets. During the school year, I’m generally available evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks, with more flexible availability during the summer months. I do my best to work with each pet’s established routine so they can feel comfortable, safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and respectful to care for your fur babies and your home. I approach each pet based on their individual personality, comfort level, and routine, whether they’re highly social and energetic or more shy and independent. I’m highly detail-oriented, dependable, and always respectful of feeding schedules, medication instructions, boundaries, and household expectations. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away, while still getting a glimpse of their sweet little face.

About: I have been fascinated by animals all my life and deeply care for all of them. My family always had at least 1 dog at home and we would often have other animals such as fish, a chameleon, or a stick bug. I frequently helped care for other pets around the neighborhood when asked to do so and still enjoy stopping to say hi to many of them on walks. Most of my experience, however, comes from my work history. I have worked almost exclusively at various kennels since I was old enough to work at around 16. While the vast majority of the animals I cared for were dogs, I also got some experience with cats, birds, and even rabbits once or twice. Because of my prior work experience, I am very good at handling dogs of all kinds and don't get grossed out by messes. I am a college student at Western Washington University. So, starting on the 23rd I will be available after 11am M&F, after 1:30 T&Th, and after 5 on W. The Weekends I should be completely free unless I have plans. Within these available times I can show up as needed to care for your pet. For walks I will initially say hi and give your pup some pets as I gear them up for their stroll. As far as the walk itself goes, I will always let the dog go at their own pace and will generally try and be out for around an hour in your neighborhood unless I am requested not to. For walk-ins and house sitting I will begin by giving your doggo some cuddles before quickly letting them outside to go potty. Afterwards I will scan the house or crate for messes and clean any that may have surfaced. Following cleanup I will take them out to either play or go for a walk depending on owner preference and then feed them according to owner specifications (Feeding and exercise can be interchanged depending on timing and instruction). In this time I can also send updates to you about how everyone's doing! From there I will likely either sit with the pet for a little and leave if I am just checking in or try and do some school work or something if I am house sitting.
