About: I’ve owned and taken care of pets since I can remember. My family has had three dogs, four chickens, and a cat in my life with different needs and routines. I love animals and am able to adapt my pet sitting style based on their needs. My pet sitting experience ranges from a miniature schnauzer puppy to an old farm dog retriever. I will be shadowing at a Physical Therapy clinic, as well as peer mentoring for summer courses, so I will most likely be gone during the day. I am a morning person, so I don’t mind having to wake up early to make sure the pets need to go to the bathroom or get fed. I can adapt my schedule to fit the needs of your pet pretty easily, I am able to juggle many commitments at once. I am very detail-oriented, so I can follow any routine or set of care instructions precisely. Pets can be like an extra family member, and I understand how it is important to find someone you can trust to take care of them like so. I approach every new pet I meet with love and care, and will make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If there are any special needs or time where a pet needs, I make sure to set alarms and reminders so I don’t forget. When I interact with a pet, I make sure to read their body language so I don’t overstep any boundaries they may have.
“Will definitely be using their services again! So trustworthy that I didn’t worry at all leaving them in our homes with our dogs. With an escape artist and a crazy puppy that’s no small feat, so very impressed all around. 10/10 and two thumbs up”

“Madison is an excellent sitter! She stayed at our home for 7 days with our two very large and excitable dogs. This is the longest we have ever been away from them in the almost 9 years we’ve had them. We were very anxious as these dogs are our children. Madison was thorough and went above and beyond to make sure that us and our boys had a good experience. She did brushing, gave medication and helped them brush up on some of their training skills. The boys loved her, and her updates gave us great peace of mind. She left our house very tidy, and was considerate of our space. This was my first experience with rover, and Madison knocked it out of the park. Tucker and Toby can’t wait to have her back next time. 100/10 recommend Madison for your furry friends. ❤️”

“Matt was fantastic! My dog can be a little challenging at times, but Matt was determined to make Baxter comfortable with his stay and to become good buddies. He was communicative, took Bax on great walks, left the house clean, and my dog seemed so happy when I arrived home! Will definitely be using Matt in the future and highly recommend him to anyone searching for a great dog sitter!!”

“Katarina was an amazing sitter for Zuko. She was incredibly accommodating, gave me continuous updates on Zuko, and went above and beyond with her care. Zuko ended up having some tummy issues and Katarina immediately updated me on the problem and even picked up his prescription from the vet on my behalf. She took great care of the home and was always available to help where she could while I was away. I would 100% book her services again and I am incredibly grateful for her care. Thank you so much Katarina!”

“Madison was very responsive and sent me photos and updates every day! Yuki (my cat) took an immediate liking to her and it was nice knowing he wasn’t alone while I was gone as he’s getting very old! It was also very nice to get home from a trip to a still clean apartment and not have to immediately scoop the litterbox. Would def book her services again and recommend them!”

“Recently went on vacation and had the privilege of having Paulina available and booked for housesitting. She is wonderful with our pup and kitties. Paulina is also dependable and great at communicating updates and photos daily, which eased my mind. She showed our pets lots of love in our absence. I truly believe that our fur babies were in the best hands.”

“Jada was absolutely wonderful! It was our first time leaving my dog by herself sister her sister passed away but Jada took very good care of her and made her feel so comfortable about not feel alone and sad. She was very communicative from day 1. She’s was absolutely just wonderful!”

About: I have experience in puppy watching and training, as well as kitten watching and training. I also have two dogs and a cat myself and have experience with daily walks, check ups, and feeding them whether they’re a grazer or have to be fed at certain times. I just graduated from college, and I am currently working part time as a bartender and server here in Bellingham. I have almost all mornings and early afternoons free, and typically am away from home for work for a few hours in the evenings. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe and comfortable around me. I love to taking them on walks (if that’s their thing), throwing toys around for them, or even cuddling up and watching a movie with them.
“Karla was amazing with Suds! I had way too many instructions, and he can sometimes be difficult so I was worried he would annoy a sitter. Karla listened to all my requests for updates and made Suds very comfortable. Would definitely work with her again!”

About: Ready to adventure with your pets! 🌲 *For more videos & pictures check out my IG: petcarepdx ABOUT ME Being raised with 3 Pugs, a mini Aussie, and 2 chihuahuas, my transition to professional pet care was very smooth! I started at a dog walking company in Portland in July 2021 and recieved a promotion within 3 months. And by Winter 2022 I transitioned to full-time employment as an independent pet care provider. I am very familiar with high energy large strong pups that like to pull sneaky tricks and play 🐕🦺 Alongside dog walking, I cat sit frequently! 🐈 I have also cared for specialty pets such as rats, bearded dragons, bunnies and guinea pigs! 🐁 I've taken care of many special needs & rescued pets, and spent a year fostering a sweet kitty! I’m open to every pet! I moved to the bay in August, but prior to my relocation I had established many trusting relationships with clients and provided reoccurring care for their sweet pups & kitties for over a year. It was definitely tough to say goodbye. However, I’m very excited to be creating more wonderful relationships with clients and pets here in Oakland! I am open and looking to take house sitting gigs in Portland and traveling up to visit! I always approach with a gentle and calm demeanor, so animals aren’t overwhelmed. Safety and ensuring their needs are met is #1! I am always willing to follow training practices owners have in place. Please note combo walks are not a requirement and will be up to the individual dogs' needs and client requests. I lean towards R+ walking and prefer to walk pups with harnesses and no prong or choke collars. I love to take pictures and give detailed updates as I find communication to be very essential to pets’ care! Please say hello, I’d love to chat about how I can help take care of your sweet pals! OVERNIGHTS I can provide walks, enrichment time, and attention for pups! I unfortunately cannot watch pups that are unable to be alone as I would like to spend some time outside of the home. Depending on the pups and their needs I’d love to take them on adventures! If adventures aren’t in the cards for them I am still able to provide care in the form of walks, quality time, and enrichment.
“We have some anxious dogs who can take a while to warm up. Charles was great with them, giving them time, being extra patient, but still loving and friendly when meeting them. He came for a meeting and spent time letting them get comfortable with him. He sent updates and photos, and when we got home, the house looked extra nice and the pets were happy and obviously well cared for. I will hire him again and recommend him highly.”

“Autumn is our go-to sitter when we're traveling. Travel is so much more relaxing knowing that everything at home is under control by someone so responsible, who genuinely cares about our dog. The frequent status updates are a big part of that piece of mind, and a really nice reminder of home during the trip. And on top of that, the house is spotless clean when we return!”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, dogs that have complicated medical needs to dogs that are lax and can do everything on their own. I’ve always grown up with cats as well as a plethora of other animals including fish, lizards, birds, and frogs. I’ve housesat for multiple people over the years and have received much positive feedback! I’m working evening at a restaurant from 3pm to 8pm, so it doesn’t cause much shift in my capability to care for your furry friends! I am more than happy to stay at your place in caring for your pets or if easier/preferred, I can stop by intermittently throughout the day to give your pet the care it needs.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cornwall Park
Madison is so easy to work with! Super good communication, takes great care of our dog and house. It is very hard to find someone who is skilled enough to take care of such an old, anxious dog, but thanks to Madison we can leave town with complete peace of mind. Thank you, Madison!
Madison was amazing for our weekend trip! We’ve got two crazy girls and a cuddler and she found ways to make everybody included and sent so many pictures and videos! It made being away from them a little easier knowing that they were all loved and happy. Thank you Madison!

Daryia was very flexible with two last minute changes we made. She made sure everything was clean when we got home. She was gentle and caring with Max and paid attention to his old dog vitamins and eccentricities. We will most certainly book her services again.

Zoe was absolutely fantastic! We booked Zoe to dog sit in our home over 3 day's and couldn't have been happier with how it went. We had regular updates with pictures of Loki on his walks and relaxing at home, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our home was as clean and tidy when we got back as when we left it. We would happily book Zoe again without hesitation 🙂

Azure is the best! She is our go-to sitter for our pups, and we feel so lucky to have found her on Rover. Her attention to detail, genuine care, and love for our dogs goes above and beyond every time. On this trip, we barely had cell service, but we had absolutely no worries knowing our pups were happily hanging out with their bestie. We came home to happy dogs, a spotless house, and even a handwritten thank-you card from Azure, which is just the sweetest personal touch. She is reliable, thoughtful, quick to communicate, and truly wonderful with our pups. We are so grateful for her!
