About: I have been fascinated by animals all my life and deeply care for all of them. My family always had at least 1 dog at home and we would often have other animals such as fish, a chameleon, or a stick bug. I frequently helped care for other pets around the neighborhood when asked to do so and still enjoy stopping to say hi to many of them on walks. Most of my experience, however, comes from my work history. I have worked almost exclusively at various kennels since I was old enough to work at around 16. While the vast majority of the animals I cared for were dogs, I also got some experience with cats, birds, and even rabbits once or twice. Because of my prior work experience, I am very good at handling dogs of all kinds and don't get grossed out by messes. I am a college student at Western Washington University. So, starting on the 23rd I will be available after 11am M&F, after 1:30 T&Th, and after 5 on W. The Weekends I should be completely free unless I have plans. Within these available times I can show up as needed to care for your pet. For walks I will initially say hi and give your pup some pets as I gear them up for their stroll. As far as the walk itself goes, I will always let the dog go at their own pace and will generally try and be out for around an hour in your neighborhood unless I am requested not to. For walk-ins and house sitting I will begin by giving your doggo some cuddles before quickly letting them outside to go potty. Afterwards I will scan the house or crate for messes and clean any that may have surfaced. Following cleanup I will take them out to either play or go for a walk depending on owner preference and then feed them according to owner specifications (Feeding and exercise can be interchanged depending on timing and instruction). In this time I can also send updates to you about how everyone's doing! From there I will likely either sit with the pet for a little and leave if I am just checking in or try and do some school work or something if I am house sitting. I will make sure to follow all instructions and reach out for help if I have any questions. Thank you for trusting me with your pet(s)!

I could not have made a more perfect choice of having Madison house sit for my senior Chihuahua. She was so very thorough with getting acquainted with my challenging pup, spending all the time necessary to achieve a great relationship with her during the meet and greet. She is, by nature, such a loving and sweet young woman, with advanced skills in caring for Senior pups who need regular medications and calming. I was able to leave for my daughter‘s wedding across the country without any concern about my sweet dog being lovingly and dutifully cared for. She sent me a photo and a brief update every day I was gone, which I loved. I’m so grateful to Rover, which allowed me to meet Madison. Do not hesitate to call on her to care for your pets.
Melia is great! She looked after my 10 year old husky littermates 4 days a week for 3 weeks in a row while I was starting a new job an hour and a half away. My male husky requires a nightly pill and can have some nighttime anxiety. Melia was great with him. I requested daily updates and photos and Melia was very good about sending them. She also put up with the various states of moving chaos as I was packing everything up to move! If I still lived in Bellingham I would definitely book Melia again, we miss her!
Five Stars! Keely is a fantastic pet sitter! She stayed in our home for two weeks and did a fantastic job looking after our two cats. When we returned, the house was in immaculate shape and our cats were both very happy. She regularly provided us with photos and updates of our kitties. We felt very grateful to have her looking after them on our trip.
I love having Oak as a sitter! The pets always seem so happy and the house is left clean. I love not having to be so stressed about leaving the pets with someone new. When crises pop up (like, during the last time they sat, one of my ancient hens passed away and one of the dogs killed and tried to eat a wild bird… ), Oak keeps me informed and handles it well. They are building a wonderful friendship with my pets and we can see that the kitties are really learning that they can trust them. 5/5 stars.
Sky is fantastic with our 3 pups and cat. Each have their own quirks, ranging from allergies, meds, to shyness and Sky was so great managing all of their needs. We really appreciate her patience and care she took with our babies so we are able to travel. Our home was clean and very well taken care of as well, highly recommend booking with her!
Lori was absolutely amazing. Will 100% be going back to her. She took such great care of my dog and two cats. Lori took a lot of time at our meet and greet asking questions and greeting my critters at their pace. Her gentle and patient demeanor with my dog gave me so much confidence leaving her in her care. I recieved daily updates and photos of my happy and relaxed critters. She also took lovely care of my home and I cannot thank her enough!
Madison stayed in our home and cared for our two dogs while we were away for five days. She even stopped by during her lunch break to let them out after our early departure on the first day. She was incredibly responsive, sent us daily photos of the dogs enjoying their walks, and left our home clean and tidy. She also helped bring in several large packages delivered while we were gone, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely recommend Madison!
