I’m an active person who loves staying moving, so your animal gets more than just basic care. They get walks, playtime, and lots of one-on-one attention. I previously helped run Rover with my family, giving me hands on experience with different pets and situations. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to go the extra mile to make sure your pet feels at ease and has fun. I had cats, dogs, and guinea pigs growing up, so I'm ready to love and care for a wide range of pets.

When caring for pets in your home, I'll stick to whatever routines you have in place, whether that’s feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, or just some extra snuggles. On walks, I make sure your dog gets fresh air, exercise, and a safe route. I always like updates when I'm away from my dog, so you can expect photos and check ins when I visit.

Oh my gosh, Verena was a lifesaver! She jumped in at the last minute and saved the day. She took amazing care of Polly and was very communicative when she had a health issue arise. My home was spotless and dog is happy, could ask for more. I will definitely have Verena come again!
Verena was marvelous with our two energetic Shelties. They had a wonderful time, and we felt secure with them in her care. I love the photos and videos throughout their visit. Verena is great with dogs and goes out of her way to make them feel safe, relaxed, exercised and happy.
Verena has been petsitting and housesitting in our neighborhood for years. She gives the animals lots of love and attention, follows through on requested schedules, takes initiative when needed, and keeps the household/gardens in good shape. She's adaptable if particular training regimens are needed; is comfortable around all sorts of pets, and can handle large, excited or anxious dogs. Finally, she communicates well before and during the visit and takes great photos!

Schedule
I'm a student in class from 10-2 most days. I'm available before and after class, most evenings, and most weekends. I get around town easily using the bus system or by walking, so I'm easy to reach clients in the area reliably.
