Pet care experience
Pet care experience!
Hi there! My name is Alexandra, and aside from growing up with multiple pets in the house, I started petsitting on my own around 2017. I have taken care of a countless number of dogs with a variety of needs (experience with two diabetic dog as well), many cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, a lovebird, and plenty more small animals. Between 2019 and 2021 I volunteered at the animal humane society working hands on with dogs and their prospective adopters, and returned back in September 2025 as an animal care technician. I am very confident in my skills with dogs from all types of temperaments and age ranges.

Ratings and reviews
Don't hesitate to book Alex. I've never seen my dog smiling on every or any pictures a dog sitter took. It's obvious that she had a fantastic time.

Alex recently stayed at our house with our two dogs and one cat and we highly recommend her! All three were immediately comfortable with her and it was so nice knowing we were leaving them in such caring and competent hands. She provided us with updates while we were away and it was clear that our pets were loved and well taken care of when we were gone. We came home to three very happy pets and are confident that was a result of Alex’s time with them. Would definitely book again!

Alex was so wonderful!! She’s very great with animals!! Asks the best questions in order to take great care of my dogs and great at planning!! I will hopefully book her again in the future!!!

Alex was so good with my two dogs and cat, and so patient with us having just moved to the state. I was instantly at ease with her and able to trust her. We would love to have her house sit, again!

Alex was so great with my two large dogs for an extended weekend! She sent updates throughout the trip and left the house cleaner than when she arrived. A week before the trip my one dog had to go on a round of medicine and Alex had no problems giving him his pills. Will definitely book again!

Schedule
I just moved to Bellingham and have my next month open with lots of flexibility! In the fall I’ll be working part time on top of completing my degree online, regardless my schedule is very flexible and open.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
As a cat mom and past dog owner, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy for your pets. I’m very flexible and open to doing new things that make you most comfortable as a pet parent and can make your pet feel most at ease and happy!
Pets
A typical day
My day to day and activities with pets usually varies by owners request and animals needs! I’ve watched dogs that don’t get walks per owners request and comfort, and other times 6 dogs at a time (all from same home) that I’d walk 2-3 times a day with 1-2 dogs at a time. Same goes for playing and enrichment. If cats enjoy playing with toys or cuddling I will totally do both with them! Small critters usually vary as well, once again up to the animals needs and parents requests!
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsUnspayed females accepted, neutered males onlyTakes only 1 client at a timeAlexandra can host up to 2 pets per night
- Before hand, it would be great to know how long they can be left alone for, if walks are needed or not preferred (as well as how much walking the dog gets a day), current health issues and past if important, if medication will be distributed, meal times and amount, and etc! Please share everything you can so I can understand what is expected from me that would make you and your pet most happy!
