“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“We highly recommend Lisa as a pet sitter! She took care of our dog, Mr. Beckett while we were out of town. Not only did she provide excellent care for Mr. Beckett, but she also went above and beyond to ensure he felt loved and comfortable while we were away. We enjoyed the daily texts and pictures showing us he was safe and having a great time. Our nervousness about leaving Mr. Beckett for the first time was greatly reduced after we saw how well he was doing with her. Lisa would take him and her dog Ollie on daily adventures at the local parks. He enjoyed playing with Ollie and seemed very happy there. We will gladly use Lisa’s services in the future, she is trustworthy, loving and very in tune to our dog’s needs.”

“Lenore was great, she was very attentive and sent us lots of videos of our dog playing with hers. She took our dog on lots of walks and played fetch with hers in the backyard. Her dog was also very friendly and played lots with ours, would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

“Carol is simply one of the best in her care for animals and for our aging dog who needed extra attention. She treated Bailey like he was one of her own. We will definitely use her again.”

“He did a pretty good job taking care of my dog. He was attentive to my dog’s needs, made sure he was well-fed and even spent time playing with him. Also, he successfully kept my dog distracted from the fireworks (it was New Year’s Eve when we booked this Rover). It was clear that he genuinely cared, and I felt at ease knowing my dog was in good hands.”

“Kennedy was gracious and so helpful! You could tell right away our dog was in good reliable hands. Her dog and our’s were compatible which was a blessing! I woukd use her again!”

“Bruno had an AWESOME time with Aretha at her home. She kept me updated on Bruno’s behavior, had a treat ready for him, sent pictures, and he even received a bath. Her kids were great with Bruno too. I will book with Aretha again.”

About: I have a passion and innate care for animals of every shape and size. I have personally parented cats, large dogs (incl. "Bully" breeds), hamsters, and fish, and find myself able to learn and adapt to other animals' routines quickly. My most recent accomplishment when it comes to my pets is teaching my younger cat (3yo) to wait for and take his liquid medicine every morning with little complaint. (The freeze-dried pork hearts probably helped) I truly see all animals as mine to love and protect when they are in my care, and would be honored to be trusted with yours. Note: if you are in need of pet care but can't afford my posted rates, message me anyway. I am able to take a limited number of sliding scale clients on an honor system, 1 question (what's within your reach?) asked basis. I'm going back to school in January and will have more restricted availability then, but for now I am open full-time to support your pet parenting needs! For hosted pet care in my townhome: Dogs would spend a majority of their time with me in my spare bedroom and/or office, with possible passing exposure to my two resident cats. They are more than welcome on furniture and for cuddles! They would receive regular (every 2-3 hours unless otherwise discussed) potty breaks as well as 2 daily walks - one morning, one evening. Length to be tailored to your pet's needs. Cats would be similar, though they would have their litter box, only stay in one of the aforementioned rooms, and would receive at least 2x 20-minute play sessions each day. In your home: Abide by your instructions, preferences, and requests, with the exception of any fear or punishment based training. I am strongly against the use of these methods in pet parenting. Instead, I focus on a combination of positive reinforcement, trigger avoidance, and redirection.
“Michelle is so caring and kind, she is the best sitter I’ve ever had. My dog Daisy usually has accidents when she stays in a new place, but she never had any accident with Michelle, Michelle and her family made her feel very safe and cared for. We will definitely book with Michelle anytime we are away!”

“Rachel and Travis are absolutely amazing! They treat Bella like she’s part of their family. They take Bella on the walks she needs with Winter and other dogs. We are grateful we found them! 🐾”

“Lauren was a phenomenal sitter, I could not recommend her enough! She was very proactive in sending me photos and videos while I was away. Took her on lots of walks and played with her a great deal”

“My puppy had a great time with Susan! He came home happy after an overnight. Susan was easy to communicate with, responded quickly and sent updates. Very nice experience.”

“She took good care of Hubble. Kept me in the loop. She’s very nice, easy fast drop off and pick up. It was nice not needing to haul his crate. Just brought his food and leash.”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“Melissa, Ryan and family take very good care of my schnauzer. This is my second time leaving her there and they were delightful to deal with. They seemed to treat her as their own (and they do have 2 other dogs). My dog is young but doesn’t play with other dogs, and she tells other dogs exactly that. They got along very well. Would be happy to leave my dog there again.”
“First time overnight for our two dogs not at home or a friend's house. It was a two-day, one night stay and raining, so they couldn't do much outside. But they did well and loved Leslie's home-cooked meals. We enjoyed meeting and talking with her, and left our pups knowing they'd be well taken care of. And they were.”

“Sophia did a wonderful job of looking after my pup! Received solid updates while I was away, including great photos. This was my first time leaving my dog behind for a couple of days so I'm grateful I was able to find a great sitter. Thank you!”
