About: Both my partner and I grew up with dogs and have had a dog of our own for a little more than 2 years. He's a sweet heart, but is reactive towards bikes and likes to herd. We're sensitive to dogs who need a bit more attention on walks and/or are reactive to different environmental triggers. We currently practice stepping off of the trail and rewarding calm behavior. Both my partner and I work from home during the day. Typically, we take a morning, lunch, pre-dinner, and before bed walk. However, if your dog needs more care or attention, we're happy to work with their preferred schedule. We currently have a dog, so we prefer to only bring in dog friendly dogs. For safety, we'll feed the dogs in separate areas and monitor play and body language. Dogs are welcome on our furniture. If needed, we have a separate room the dog can stay in (in the event they need some space).

“Since our usual sitter was unavailable, we decided to look to Rover to find a sitter for our dog Sydney during the Thanksgiving holiday. We reached out to Yvonne and she was very quick to respond. She asked about Sydney and even mentioned that she may have some cats during the requested stay to make sure Sydney would be okay with them in the home. We appreciated how up front she was about this. Yvonne did a great job caring for Sydney and it was apparent that Sydney well cared for and loved while we were away. She regularly sent pictures and updates on where Sydney had gone that day or what she was doing, which was great to see. Yvonne's home has a fenced yard, which was ideal for Sydney who likes to spend a lot of time outdoors running after a ball! She made sure to take Sydney out for walks and to the dog park to get needed socialization and outdoor time. I would 100% recommend Yvonne to anyone looking for a trusted sitter for their pet. We intend to utilize Yvonne's services again in the future whenever we need a sitter for Sydney!”
