Caring home for your weekend getawa
Heading out for the weekend and need a safe and caring place for your dog for a night or two? My home may be just the place. I have a friendly dog who loves company and is willing to occupy your pooch while you are gone. Tug of war, "chase me", and wrestling are her favorite games to play with other dogs, and she seems to be able to adjust to meet the size and level of play of others. I have had pets my whole life (including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, birds, and even a raccoon for a while). Currently, however, I have a lab-shephard mix named Rook (she's 2-years old) and a cat who has her own space, away from the dog. My dog is part of the family and is treated well and given attention. I am a conscientious and caring person who will take great care to ensure your pup has a good time while you are away.

Lenore was an outstanding pet caregiver. It is obvious that her top priority is that pets well-being, comfort and joy are met in her care. Lenore asks important questions to get an overall understanding of your pets needs and interests ahead of time, and then goes above and beyond to meet those expectations. We loved the pictures and videos! I highly recommend Lenore as a pet sitter!
Thank you for everything once again. Maggie comes home happy healthy and with a clean fluffy ball! That was adorable. Lenore is the absolute best. Her communication is fantastic. I always appreciate the pictures she sends and she will always be our first pick for Maggie Care.
Bella loved her time with Lenore and we loved knowing she was safe and having a great time when we were traveling.

Lenore (and Rook) are absolutely wonderful! Lenore is so gracious, flexible, and communicative. She sends lots of pictures and videos of Mark and Rook playing and she was even incredibly flexible when our schedule took a turn and had to make some last minute changes. We have sent our playful pup, Marty, to her twice and both times he has come home so happy and tired from all the play! Would recommend and will continue to send Marty!
Remi seemed to have a great time with Lenore and Rook! I appreciated Lenore’s updates and attention to detail.

Schedule
I am available to pet sit on weekend days and most holidays. I'm a teacher, so I will also be available for much of the summer as well.

I have a small, but fully fenced yard and a friendly dog who loves to play with others. My dog utilizes the dog door and has free access to the yard all times of the day.

A typical day
I'm a bit of a home-body so will be spending time with your pet. Regular walks through the neighborhood are a routine and you can count on at least two good walks per day. Play time with my dog in the back yard is likely and, depending on the dog and your desires, I have a fully fenced school yard nearby, that is a regular part of my dog's day.
