Happy Trails & Wagging Tails
Happy Trails & Wagging Tails Hello, I'm Jess, and I love being outdoors just as much as your dog does. If there's a trail to hike, a route to run, or a bike path to cruise, I would love to have your four-legged friend along for the adventure. Why your pup will have a blast: Your dog won't be stuck on the couch while you're away. Depending on their energy level and age, they'll get adventurous runs and hikes, a fun fetch playtime, or a gentle walk around the block, and of course plenty of cuddles when it's time to wind down. I'll happily match your dog's pace, whether that's a trail-loving athlete or a laid-back senior who prefers a sniffari-stroll. Why you can trust me: For the past 5 years, I've been caring for my friends' dogs, from quick walks and feeding check-ins to long overnight stays. I'm comfortable sticking to your dog's routine, following feeding and medication instructions and schedules, and keeping a close eye on how they're doing. You'll get regular updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. A little about me: I'm active, reliable, and definitely the girl asking if I can pet your dog. If you run into me around town, it will most likely be out on the trails, in the climbing gym, or yoga studio. Or possibly the farmers market, or local community events around town. My main activities are running, hiking, backpacking, swimming, biking, climbing and mountaineering, and the more relaxing at-home hobbies include, baking, sewing, crafts, and planning fun girls nights with my friends. Send me a message if you're interested in setting up a meet and greet! I'd love to meet you and your best friend.

Jessica was an absolute lifesaver! She stepped in last minute to watch our dog, Frito, when our usual sitter fell through, and we couldn't be happier. She was so kind, incredibly easy to work with, and even took Frito on a long hike. He came home happy and wonderfully tired. We highly recommend her! 10/5 stars if it was possible to rate so high ✨

Jess is a true dog lover and she has always shown such care and affection for my two dogs. I trust her with them and know she will take as good (or better!) care of them than I do. ;) I feel lucky to have found such a reliable, caring dogsitter in Jess. I highly recommend her!
I’m someone who can get pretty anxious about leaving my dog with other people when I travel, but Jess completely eliminates those worries for me. She is a huge animal lover and genuinely treats every animal in her care like they’re her own. My dog can sometimes be a lot to handle, but Jess makes sure he gets plenty of daily walks, playtime, and attention, which helps him be his happiest and best behaved self. I also completely trust her to manage him around other dogs, and I know that if an emergency ever came up, she would handle it calmly and responsibly. One of the things I appreciate most is how communicative she is while I’m away. She keeps me updated on how things are going and is great about sending photos (if that's something you need), which is especially reassuring when I’m missing him. Whatever your pet’s needs or energy level, I’m confident Jess can handle them. She is incredibly caring, responsible, and attentive, and I always feel like my dog is in the best possible hands when he’s with her. She makes it so much easier for me to enjoy my time away without worrying about how he’s doing! 10/10
Jess was the absolute best in helping take care of my German Shepherd Bia! I took multiple trips out of town and she watched B for multiple days and nights and was everything and more that I could have asked for! Anytime I’d drive by Jess’s house, Bia would get so excited even if she wasn’t getting dropped off. I cannot recommend her enough!

Schedule
I'm currently (recently) unemployed , and looking for pet-care to be somewhat of a part-time endeavor while I work on establishing self-employment working from home. With that said, I have lots of flexibility with my time and availability to work with your schedule and daily/weekly routines and needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have both had dogs stay with me in my home. I live in a 2 story townhouse with a small back patio. I have kept small and large dogs here without any issue. Usually I take dogs on a bathroom walk around the neighborhood, and for running or hiking, take them on trails. I have a running/bungee leash I use for running, but can use whatever harness, collar, and leash is preferred by the dog and owner. I have room for a crate if needed for overnight stays, but it would need to be provided as I do not own one. I have an SUV, and room for a dog bed and can hold a large dog in the back to transport for hikes or trail runs as needed.
