Care First Pet Services

I am extremely aware of how hard it is to leave your animals with someone. We have been doing this for 5 years now, full time. We run daycare and in home boarding. They have become our nieces and nephews. My phone is always taking pics and videos of your loved ones and I send them on a regular basis (unless unwanted). I have worked for King County Animal Shelter and several Vet hospitals in the Kansas and Washington areas since I was 16. I am attentive , fit and ready to care for your animals. I am up to date on the current medicines and vaccines for pets. I have a 6 foot fenced in yard that leads to a creek and/or hiking trails that my boarding dogs have enjoyed, as well as myself! We also just built a "catio" for kitties to enjoy some outdoor time without the fear of them running off. I enjoy photography so have begun taking fun, photogenic pictures of your pets to share with you and your loved ones. They seem to be a hit! This is a passion, but also a job of course.

Alexis has been amazing all the times she has watched our dogs over the years. The accommodating of schedules, picking up and dropping them off, sending pictures to check in with us. I have always recommended her to other people looking for dog sitters and will keep doing so because she is the only person who has ever watched our dog.

Strongly recommend! When Alexis came to pick up my sweet beagle for the first time, she immediately put him at ease and I could tell that her priority was making sure he was comfortable. I can't stress enough how important this is for me. Darwin came back after a day of doggie daycare both tired and content. We will definitely be bringing him back when school starts up again!

Took away the stress of traveling knowing Charlie was in good hands. I absolutely recommend.

Alexis and her partner provide an out-of-town daycare and boarding service for pups, providing pick-up and drop-off, which is really great if you have a busy schedule or kids, like I do. They proposed a trial daycare, showing that they vet dogs before agreeing to take them on for longer spans of time. It's important to them that the dogs get along and are well-behaved with each other, which helped me feel comfortable with boarding my little girl there while I'm on vacation. They were kind to my shy girl, getting her carefully acclimated to the other dogs and giving her time to adjust. They sent me regular photos and updates, showing me how she was doing. She has a hot spot, so they were good about monitoring that and keeping her in good condition. She came back, happy and tired and hot spot none for the worse--which was great! I'm confident she was in safe hands and had a good day socializing with other dogs!

Alexis was fantastic, and I highly recommend them! They were communicative, attentive, and very flexible. My dog had a wonderful time and came home happy and tired. Thank you, Alexis!

Our dogs came home from a three day boarding very happy! We really appreciated the convenience of dropoff and pickup, and loved getting photo and video check-ins while our two dogs were in her care. They did a great job; we’re thankful that they watched our girls!

I am always looking for new hikes to do. Depending on the dog and their abilities we will explore the area together! Depending on our time limit of course. Dog parks if well managed, are good also for socialization.

Their temperament. How they handle other animals, change in atmosphere. If they have anxiety, nervous around new friends, etc. we will still mostly take them, but onviously wish to know how best to care for them.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
