About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.

About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.

I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with lots of experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with a Lab, my husband and I had a German Shepherd mix for 12 years (so I’m very familiar with sweet senior energy and all the extra care that comes with it), and now I have Ollie—a high-energy, young husky/german shep mix who keeps life fun and active! Because of Ollie, I’m especially comfortable with large, energetic breeds and understand the structure, exercise, and attention they need to thrive. He LOVES having dog friends around and is incredibly friendly, but he can be a persistent playmate—so if your dog prefers a quieter environment, it might not be the best fit (totally get it… my last dog was the “fun police” too). I work from home, so your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also live right by trails, so daily walks and outdoor time are part of our routine. My home is very much a “dogs on the furniture, snuggles in bed” kind of home, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet, so I’m big on communication and will send plenty of updates and photos so you always feel connected. I’ve even talked about getting a second dog, so Rover has been a perfect way Ollie to have more furry friends around in the meantime. I work from home and so I’m around most of the day unless i’m going to the gym or running errands. I take Ollie for two walks a day so your pup would join us! I have a fully fenced yard for the dogs to romp and stay safe. Part of the fence is a wire field fence so if your dog is a fence hopper, I’d like to be made aware to keep a closer eye out!

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

About: Hello! I am lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I grew up with multiple cats and currently have my own very loved + spoiled cat at home! I regularly dog walk and pet sit for my fellow nursing coworkers. This includes walks, some overnight visits, feeding, playtime, and lots of cuddles! Animals truly bring me joy, and I'll care for your pets like they're my own :) I currently work full time at the hospital but start at 11am and end at 730pm. I am happy to swing by in the mornings and after work! I also have every Wednesday, Thursday, and every other weekend off. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will always respect your pets routine, boundaries, and do whatever they need to help them feel safe and happy while you are away! I am happy to provide walks, drop in visits, or overnight stays. While I am unable to host pets in my own home because of my cat, I am very comfortable caring for your pets in their environment where they can feel the most comfortable and safe!
About: I have owned and taken care of pets since I was a little kid, ranging from mini Australian shepherds to retrievers, labs and German shepherds. This means I have experience training young puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I also have experience with taking dogs on runs (since I love to run), which helps with high-energy dogs. I love dogs and am more than happy to help other people with pet care since I know finding the right person for the job can be difficult. :) I’m a teacher so this summer I’m earning some extra cash by nannying and dogsitting. I’m available 4-5 days a week including the weekends (and have no problem helping in the early mornings and late nights), so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m very willing to fit multiple in-house visits and dog walking/running into my routine. I care for pets in my clients’ homes so I am skilled in giving all pets the attention they need both inside and outside the home, including playing with them, taking them on walks and runs, or just sitting down and keeping them company depending on the age and needs they require. I am originally from the coast of Maine, where I grew up with two shihtzus, Buddha and Tipper. About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

About: Previous groomer with over 7 years of professional experience with dogs and cats. Will happily love and care for any type of animal friend. Pets I board must be good with kids but drop in pets are ok either way. My best friend Gus crossed the rainbow bridge in December 2025 and while I’m not ready to find another friend yet, I’m ready to help people to ensure their besties are happy and healthy. Outside of boarding and walking, I can do nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, hair brushing and administer medicine if needed. I work full time and work remotely periodically. My schedule is pretty flexible so depending on your needs I can be available at a variety of times and days. I have a fully fenced yard and a doggy door. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of options for walking routes. I keep my home tidy so that pets won’t get into anything they shouldn’t.
