“Gabriel took Lucy to the lake, introduced her to other dogs, and she didn't want to leave when I picked her up. He accommodated my short notice request and I'm so grateful that Lucy had somewhere safe to go while I headed to work.”

About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.
“Our senior dog is a clingy guy and he certainly loved clinging to Lizz. He was happy to be with her and she was great about taking him out for his daily exercise -- strapping on his leg brace beforehand and icing him afterward -- as well as administering his daily medication. We look forward to seeing Lizz again!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.
About: I can't imagine life without a dog! All my life I've used common sense and loads of love to care for my furry babies. I am a responsible and very loving pet owner. Since I am retired, my schedule is very flexible; I'm home most of the time. When I do work, it is usually on my computer in short periods. Your baby will receive lots of one-on-one attention and snuggles. I am retired and have lots of space in my home. Although there's no fenced yard, I will take your baby out on a leash and give them loads of love and attention.
“Arilynn is 10/10!! I needed a sitter within the out and she was available, I was so thankful. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing and was attentive to my dog’s special needs (arthritis) and my requests for her care. Thank you so much!”

“Olivia was wonderful! She is very communicative, friendly and greeted my dog and I warmly. Throughout his visit Olivia sent many pictures and was considerate to ask about giving treats. She even took him on an adventure at the park. Puck came home Happy and exhausted in the best way! I'm grateful to have Olivia as a future dog sitter.”

“Pelos had a great day with Yvonne! We know she was in good hands. We received updates throughout the day which we enjoyed. We will continue to use her dog sitting services :)”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Tanya was AMAZING with regards to our pup. She went above and beyond to make our 3mo old pup feel at home. She was able to adapt to our pups needs and ensured that all of her needs were met. We even got sweet updates and photos on how she was doing :) thank you Tanya!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of pet cats, dogs, and reptiles since I was 8 y/o, taking care of animals has been my passion since I was younger. I work at Puget Hound and am a full time student at Western. I am available whenever I am not at those two places. :) I take care of my pets the way I would want to be treated as an animal. I listen to the animals needs and will provide them what they need whether it be food/water, a walk, or a cuddle.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of families and friends furry babies since I was a child. I know what it’s like having to leave your baby behind for a little while but you can trust me! I love all dog breeds and the size of your dog won’t change the level of care they get. Stay at home and cuddle? Perfect! Go on long walks? Awesome! Play fetch for 3 hours straight? Let’s do it! I’m currently doing Rover full time so caring for your family 24/7 is no problem for me!:) I love staying active and having company for errands so your babies probably won’t be alone for too long. If I have any commitments that are more than 5 hours long, I will let you know before we book! I have a fenced yard and everyone is super responsible about keeping doors closed in my home. There’s a dog and 1 cat so your pet has to be non reactive to other animals if I board. I usually aim for 3-5 walks a day but your babies will always have access to the yard if I’m not home for a couple hours or the weather is bad. If I care for your pets in your home, I’m super open to hearing specific instructions and schedules for your fur babies!
About: I’m brand new to this app, so I have limited reviews here aside from people who know me IRL. I’ve grown up with all types of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and birds. I have the most experience (and love) medium to large sized dogs. I live next to boulevard park trail and I often walk from Bellingham to Fairhaven (I live on the Bellingham side). I live in a small carriage house with a fenced in spacious patio across the street from Laurel Park. For regular potty breaks? I’m across the street from Laurel Park. What sets me apart? I absolutely love dogs, but I’m going back to grad school and my place is too small for my favorite dog breed to own. With that said, I do have the perfect set up for dog sitting and boarding on a temporary basis. I’m getting ready to start graduate school in an online program in January 2026. I was just accepted! Yay! I also work remote for the tribal college for their e-learning department. Despite my love of dogs, I can’t take on the added expense of my own furry family right now. It would be a pleasure to have a little fur baby friend (or two) to hang out with me here at home! I’m looking for regular fur baby friends to build a lasting relationship and predictable schedule. I have a flexible remote work/study schedule and I’m home regularly. I’m interested in hosting medium to large sized dogs. I’m available to go on long walks from Bellingham to Fairhaven, which is about 5 miles round trip. Aside from that, I can do shorter potty walks at Laurel park, which is across the street from my residence. I have a (fancy) large elevated dog bed that can hold up to 150 pounds, which can be covered with a cozy blanket (preferably yours so your dog feels at home). My little house is actually a studio (see pictures), it’s a mother in law unit on the property next to a huge 5-bedroom house with a big yard. I have a good relationship with the property owner who has allowed me to build out a patio and a fenced gate here on my rental. This space is really perfect for a dog sitter, but I care too much about dogs to get my own baby while I’m living here. It’s just too small for my favorite type of breed. When I finally get the space, I want to get a Malinois Shepherd mix. This isn’t the right space for that breed full time, but my place is perfect to dog sit and host. Many of the photos are of my ex boyfriend’s dog, I used to watch him while my ex was at work. It was great to have a four legged guest here and I’m looking forward to that again.
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life—growing up with a lab, poodle, and two Boston terriers, all with very different quirks and needs. Lately, I’ve cared for older huskies and playful mid-sized pups. I’m detail-oriented and always focus on what makes each dog happiest, whether it’s extra patience, playtime, or gentle care for seniors. Im a full time student in university. At the moment, Im completely free on the weekends. On weekdays my schedule varies; M/W/F: 6am-9:30am, 4:30pm-late evening. T/Th: 6am-11:30am, 2:30pm-late evening. I love being active and taking your dog out for walks or hikes would certainly make us all happy! I dont have a suitable set up for boarding animals at the moment, but am able to care for your pet in your home and can adhere to your current situation.

“Karrin is great, super great communication on the app and in person. She sent pictures, although I didn’t get them because I didn’t have WiFi on the whale watching excursion most of the time, until later but she sent me a lot of them for the short amount of time they were with her. She took great care of them. They are looking forward to going back to see her and her puppy tomorrow and spending the night with them!!!”

“Cher was very accommodating with drop-off timing and pick-up with unknowns like traffic. Maverick was well taken care of with multiple walks and attention. Maverick will be back in October for a longer stay, and I now know he will be in good hands. Cher is going to be a good fit for Maverick!”

About: I always had (multiple)dogs growing up and love them more than most things. I now have my own dog and she has been a joy and a learning experience no doubt. Experience: -I have watched dogs for many families -I have taken care of diabetic dogs requiring a strict diet and medication - I am super careful about any special requirements or restrictions-- my dog has opened my eyes to sensitives like no other -I work remotely Monday-Friday from around 8-4:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 9:30pm because that’s typically my bedtime … can push it till 10 though ;) -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the downtown Montrose area -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP I live in a one bedroom house alone which is very secure and no escaping will happen here. The backyard is fully fenced in! Plenty of space.
