Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid, starting with my family’s siamese cat and border collie rescue. Since then, I’ve been a primary caregiver for two rescue mutts and a companion to the many pets of my friends and family. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new friends, and pets are always supervised and treated like family. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of walks, exercise and attention. For house sitting and drop in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and lots of affection. I live with my grandma in a calm, pet friendly home and am committed to keeping your pets happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away.

She sent pictures, although I didn’t get them because I didn’t have WiFi on the whale watching excursion most of the time, until later but she sent me a lot of them for the short amount of time they were with her.
