About: I have been pet sitting for the a couple years, caring for both dogs and cats in a variety of settings. I have experience with multi-dog households, including overnight stays for over a week as well as shorter visits, holiday stays, play dates and walks. My experience includes walks, drop in care, feeding and meal routines, administering medications, avoiding pet allergies and of course playtime! I have dog sat for puppies less than two months old to senior dogs with mobility issues who need extra care, diets and sensitivity. I have grown up caring for my own dogs and cats, so I am very comfortable with animals of all ages and personalities. I genuinely love animals and prioritize making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I am currently out of school for the summer, working part time and focusing on side work, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, giving any medications as directed, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. I also make sure pets get plenty of companionship, playtime, and mental stimulation through walks, play, and positive interaction. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owner is away. I give clients updates and photos during my stay, and always leave a summary of my time with their pets at the end!

About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.

About: I adore dogs and would love to help out with yours! I have had my dog, Tank, for about 8 years now. I love to take him on walks and throw a ball with him. If you have any specific requests or if your dog has a specific schedule, I’m more than happy to accommodate! I’m a college student but I do have some flexibility and I can try my best to work with you and meet your needs. I am extra free on my school breaks too! I can make any type of adjustments so your dog is happy and comfortable. Do they have a strict schedule for food or walks? I can make sure that that routine remains. I have a medium sized dog at home (about 20 pounds) I make sure to exercise him everyday, even if it’s just for a quick walk near my apartment so exercising your dog is something I’m always happy to do.

About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.

About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.

About: I have recently moved from Nashville to Bellingham area. I have fostered over 60 dogs with Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. I have dealt with multiple breeds as well as puppies and especially seniors with medical issues. I currently have a foster pug so I can house sit if I can bring her along or drop in. Your pups can also stay at my house. I work remotely so I can house sit, pet sit at anytime as long as I'm not going to be out of town or already booked. I will follow closely the directions given by the client. I have had dogs and I have competed internationally in horse competitions. I understand how people are particular about their pets.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new friends, and pets are always supervised and treated like family. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of walks, exercise and attention. For house sitting and drop in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and lots of affection. I live with my grandma in a calm, pet friendly home and am committed to keeping your pets happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and I have always had a love for animals. I’ve spent my summers watching friends dogs and cats while they go on vacations, I regularly check on peoples pets during the day when needed and I’ve participated in many sleepovers with my neighbors dogs throughout high school while they were out of town. I have personal experience with reptiles, cats and dogs but I have also taken care of clients birds and amphibians. My days open are when I have the most availability to spend time with your pet. If you need additional days and are okay with no midday check-in while I work at my other job, I can be with them in the mornings and evenings, but please message with any questions. I believe trust is the most important thing when working with someone’s pets. I take family very seriously and want to give the same type of love and care to your animals as they would receive from you. I send owners many pictures of their pets while I am with them and always make sure I ask questions if I am unsure of something in order to stay on top of the animals typical routine. I stay in close contact with my clients whether that is over text, email or through the rover app.
