“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Our senior dog is a clingy guy and he certainly loved clinging to Lizz. He was happy to be with her and she was great about taking him out for his daily exercise -- strapping on his leg brace beforehand and icing him afterward -- as well as administering his daily medication. We look forward to seeing Lizz again!”
“Kris was great! Her dogs are super sweet. She has a lot of space for them to run around and play. She took my dog on a walk too! Will definitely come back for more doggy daycare in the near future. Thanks again, Kris!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.

About: Caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a household with dogs, raised my own dog from puppyhood, and am currently raising and caring for my own kitten. I also regularly puppy- and cat-sit for family and friends, so I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, personalities, and routines. I have hands-on experience training and raising a very large dog, my 8-year-old Great Pyrenees, so I am confident handling big breeds, strong dogs, and animals of all sizes. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, especially with puppies and young animals, as well as attentiveness and gentler care for senior pets. Beyond experience, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Friends and family have always known me as the “animal person,” and I take pride in creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part time and am also a part-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I am only in class a few days a week, and even on those days I am on campus for a limited amount of time. This flexibility allows me to provide frequent check-ins, playtime, walks, and attentive care rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. I enjoy spending quality time with animals and can easily adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs and routine. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and routine, whether I’m caring for them in my home or in their own home. I follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and household rules provided by the owner to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their pet’s normal routine and environment. I provide attentive care including feeding, walks, litter box maintenance, playtime, companionship, and regular check-ins. I treat each home with respect and keep it clean and secure. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment with plenty of attention, play, and supervision. I make sure pets are comfortable, well exercised, and feel at home while their owners are away. Across all services, I communicate clearly, provide updates, and treat every pet as if they were my own.
“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

“Avielle was easy to communicate with and her dog Toby is super friendly and immediately went into play mode with Sprocket. She kept me updated with pictures and text throughout the day and when we picked up Sprocket we was all tuckered out from playing all day. Thanks Avielle, would happily have you watch him again!”

“Tanya was AMAZING with regards to our pup. She went above and beyond to make our 3mo old pup feel at home. She was able to adapt to our pups needs and ensured that all of her needs were met. We even got sweet updates and photos on how she was doing :) thank you Tanya!!!”

About: I’m relatively new to this app, so I have limited reviews but it’s growing! I’ve grown up with all types of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and birds. I have the most experience (and love) medium to large sized dogs. I live next to boulevard park trail and I often walk from Bellingham to Fairhaven (I live on the Bellingham side). I live in a small carriage house with a fenced in spacious patio across the street from Laurel Park. For regular potty breaks? I’m across the street from Laurel Park. What sets me apart? I absolutely love dogs, but I’m going back to grad school and my place is too small for my favorite dog breed to own. With that said, I do have the perfect set up for dog sitting and boarding on a temporary basis. I’m getting ready to start graduate school in an online program in January 2026. I was just accepted! Yay! I also work remote for a college for their e-learning department. Despite my love of dogs, I can’t take on the added expense of my own furry family right now. It would be a pleasure to have a little fur baby friend (or two) to hang out with me here at home! I have a flexible remote work/study schedule and I’m home regularly. I’m available to go on long walks from Bellingham to Fairhaven, which is about 5 miles round trip. Aside from that, I can do shorter potty walks at Laurel park, which is across the street from my residence. I have a (fancy) large elevated dog bed that can hold up to 150 pounds, which can be covered with a cozy blanket (preferably yours so your dog feels at home). My little house is actually a studio (see pictures), it’s a mother in law unit on the property next to a huge 5-bedroom house with a big yard. I have a good relationship with the property owner who has allowed me to build out a patio and a fenced gate here on my rental. This space is really perfect for a dog sitter, but I care too much about dogs to get my own fur baby while I’m living here. It’s just too small to keep a dog full time, but my place is perfect to dog sit and host.

About: Hello my name is Mason C. I’m and 21 year old filmmaker and photographer in Bellingham. I have a cattle dog named Sasuke who is like a son to me and my girlfriend haylee (we seriously spoil him) . Animals and nature are my true passion being a wildlife photographer and wouldn’t want to be doing anything else than hanging out and taking care of your beautiful doggo. I believe good behavior should be rewarded with a fun proactive lifestyle. I live on the corner of franklin park and have great safe access to the park as often as your pup needs! Dogs who hike are welcome! I hope you are Social media friendly because I always supply professional photos with my sitting services !
“Yvonne took such good care of my pup, she is knowledgeable and super willing to work with his quirks and training needs! She makes sure to give such detailed reports of how they spend their day and she gives him great exercise! She also sends lots of photo updates!”

“Arilynn is 10/10!! I needed a sitter within the out and she was available, I was so thankful. She kept me updated on how my dog was doing and was attentive to my dog’s special needs (arthritis) and my requests for her care. Thank you so much!”

“Tami sent me pictures and videos throughout the day and even gave Jack treats and a bone! Jack got to play with a variety of dogs and humans, and run around a fully fenced backyard. He came home totally exhausted, what more can you ask for?”

About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.
About: I can't imagine life without a dog! All my life I've used common sense and loads of love to care for my furry babies. I am a responsible and very loving pet owner. Since I am retired, my schedule is very flexible; I'm home most of the time. When I do work, it is usually on my computer in short periods. Your baby will receive lots of one-on-one attention and snuggles. I am retired and have lots of space in my home. Although there's no fenced yard, I will take your baby out on a leash and give them loads of love and attention.
Edgemoor dog parents share their Rover experiences
200% Thank you Tanya. Tanya did a superb job with my nervous dog. First time away since her adoption 18 months ago and things worked out very, very well. Nice updates throughout the day, which relieved my anxiety. Tanya’s gentle demeanor was very helpful with my dog. I think Jenna enjoyed her change of scenery and to be around Tanya. She slept a lot when she came home. Thank you again. 🤗
