About: I have grown up with rescue puppies and have been caring for animals in my home for almost my entire life. I want to be an Animal-Assisted Therapist after college and will always surround myself with animals, whether it’s helping them, having them help people, or for companionship. I am currently in college with classes every weekday. Your pet will be, at max, left alone for 2 hours. I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I will make sure they are happy and comfortable. I will be sure to follow all instructions given and clean up after your pet and myself. I will be honest about everything that happens and will always keep you updated on your pet, including pictures of your pup/kitty!
About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.
About: I've taken care of family pets and love supporting animals in a variety of ways. Keeping dogs happy and healthy is my main priority, which I achieve passionately. I'm working part-time and want to help take care of pets with my free time. I enjoy working with animals and usually have fun in the process. My dogs growing up has an invisible fence and then a real fence once they proved too atheltic for the wire. I have many times and am prepared to pick up a medium-sized dog if necessary.
“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

“Chloe was so communicative and sweet!! I highly recommend her. She was professional and provided detailed oriented updates and photos while i was away on vacation.”

About: There’s nothing I’ve ever found myself to be more passionate about than animals. I myself have had cats and dogs all my life, and axolotl, and even a bird. I recently left the veterinary medicine field where I was a technician for 10 years. I gave up vet med to be a nanny but am missing my furry friends! I currently am a nanny for an infant. My schedule can vary, but am always available after 5pm everyday and flexible on weekends. I usually have one day off during the week. I am capable of just about anything. Feedings, medication administration, walks, playtime in the yard. I can provide minimal care as well as more extensive care if needed.

“I came home from 5 days away to a happy husband and a happy high energy collie excited to see me. Wendy walked Konrad for an hour each morning as I requested on the trails around my home sending me a happy photo during the walks. Wendy followed my instructions and I felt Konrad was in good hands for his first time with me gone. Thank you Wendy.”

“Katherine is very responsive and was able to help get the wiggles out of my active puppy. She took her for several much appreciated long walks on trails, one was very last minute when I was called into work. She is a lifesaver. I highly recommend Katherine!”

About: I grew up with many animals in my house including dogs of all sizes and breeds. Every animal was well taken care of and properly trained. I am available throughout the day and night for periodic check in’s and walks. I am free all day on the weekends and can do holidays as well. My pets always come first. I pay attention to their every need and make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible. I always go the extra mile to ensure proper care.
“Maddy has been an amazing addition to my busy routine! Highly recommend her. My dog doesn't usually like or trust people off of her first meeting, but she instantly fell in love with Maddy.”

About: In the last 6 years I have cared for my senior lab in her final days as well as our golden retriever puppy navigating potty training. Whatever life stage your dog is in it is my commitment to give them the same level of care I would give my own. I’m currently attending western Washington university and students teaching. My classes range from 1-3 hours on weekdays with the exception of tuesdays I at the elementary school from 7:30am-3pm. My weekend are very available! My top priority is to make sure your pets feel safe and stress free while you are away. I will always do as much as I can to maintain the same habits as they have with the owner even if that means I am sharing a bed with a massive husky! Communication is so important for me so I always offer picture updates throughout the week so that you know your pets are in good hands.
“Ashley is so awesome! When we were in urgent need of someone to watch our pup, she saved the day! She was so good with him and so understanding of his needs. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Ashley! Would definitely have her watch him again!”

About: I have experience with all age ranges of dogs. I have an elderly dog of my own and have experience administering medicines. I also have experience with high energy puppies, I grew up with two Australian Shepards! I am currently looking for a job, so I have a decent amount of free time throughout the week! I do have a dog of my own that I also need to care for! I am well versed in dogs body languages, but do not have much experience with aggressive dogs. However, I am great at creating a comfortable environment for a plethora of dogs!
Edgemoor dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sophia did a fantastic job walking our dog Mulligan multiple times over a weekend. She stepped in at the last minute after our regular walker had something come up. So, over the course of three days, she came for a meet and greet, and then walked him twice a day for two days. She was prompt, easygoing, and Mulligan immediately took to her... he eagerly waited for her to knock on the door each time she came, and he couldn't have been more excited to get going with her on each walk. Sophia tracked her walks so we could see where she was at any given time, and she took pics on each walk to send us through the app. Mully always came back happy and ready for a nap... what more could you hope for? :) We highly recommend Sophia, and we would absolutely book her again!

Lucu really helped me out greatly to walk my dog daily as I healed from orthopedic surgery for six weeks. He was always punctual, communicated fantastically and worked well with my dog. I appreciated how well he was flexible around the winter, rainy weather and always did a great job with account updates (both scheduling and payments). My whole recovery went well thanks to the wonderful service Luca consistently provided. I would highly recommend Luca to others in any capacity. Thanks so much!

Paulina was great with our dog Mulligan, and she helped us on short notice when i was scheduled to go out of town and my wife injured her shoulder and couldn't manage walks while i was away. Paulina was prompt in her replies, flexible with scheduling, and when we went on a walk together to get Mully used to someone else walking him, he took to her immediately. She was great with him, and he clearly loved walking with her. we will certainly use Paulina again if the need arises.
