About: I have had pets my whole life! My person experience includes: nursing my yellow lab back to health after a car accident, caring for and raising 9 puppies, giving medication to pups when they reach their later years, and living with a loving my roommates cat! I enjoy walks and hikes as much as I enjoy staying in and cuddling with more chill animals! I currently work as an observer for fishing vessels, which gives me long periods of time in Bellingham where I am very available, and when I’m out at sea I pause my account. I am unfortunately not able to house dogs, but I can transport them to park, walking trails, and can promise the dogs will be well loved and cared for the entire time!

Pets are like family and should be be treated that way. Just let me know what you need! I’m available for over night stays with your babes if needed. While I can’t take the place of YOU, I can sure give them the comfort they need until you return. It does vary, but flexible overall! I’m attentive, engaged and probably overly cautious when it comes to your pets. At this time, I’m happy to stick with pet care in your home.

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve raised and cared for my own dog since he was a puppy and he’s now three years old, so I’m comfortable with dogs at all stages of life. Growing up around dogs also gave me experience with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m currently a graduate student at WWU and have a part-time remote job, so pet care fits really naturally into my daily routine. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can plan my days around your pet’s needs for walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship. I do share a dog with my ex-partner, so I’m only available for overnight stays when my dog is with them. My availability will always be kept up to date to reflect this. I’m very mindful that I’m stepping into someone else’s home and into a pet’s familiar environment. I focus on keeping things calm, predictable, and secure by following the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I double check doors, gates, and leashes, keep food and household items out of reach, and make sure pets are comfortable.

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life, from growing up with horses and dogs to caring for aquatic animals in my career. I have experience housesitting for friends and family, as well as giving my own animals loads of love and attention. I understand the specific care that comes with each pet and their unique personalities. I am also comfortable working with pets in any condition, with experience working with seniors, injured animals, and those with health conditions, such as epilepsy. I currently work fulltime M-F, but often work from home and love to incorporate pet visits/walks on my breaks! About: Not only do I have over 30 years of personal pet experience, I've got decades of experience fostering pets of all types and volunteering with animals! My career is working with marine invertebrates and fish, plus at home I care for birds, reptiles, amphibians fresh water fish and shrimp, insects and a large senior dog! Dogs are my favorite people, and I really enjoying getting to know each pup and providing them exactly what they need to feel stimulated, safe and happy. I'm happy to train your pup with the commands and treats of your choosing and do some light grooming along with walks(or car rides with the window down for the most senior doggos if you prefer!) I'm a mom! And I'm passionate about animal care. Weekends are easiest for me to give your pet a LOT of attention, if needed. But I can do weekday care as well with my flexible schedule. If your dog has a favorite walking place, I'm happy to travel with them there if it's in town. My dog loved the Lake Padden dog park in his youth, even though we went to many dog parks! I know how important it is for most dogs to keep their routine! I prefer to visit your home to care for your pets. They will usually feel more comfortable in their own home. If your doggo needs to shadow someone at all times to feel secure, we can talk about your pup staying at my home instead. My senior dog loves a good cuddle partner or romp in the big fenced yard out back! Dogs that stay at my home would have a choice of sleeping on the dog bed in my room or on the bed with me and my pup. Or, there is also the choice of sleeping in my kid's room as well, if your dog prefers older kids who are great with dogs!
