I’ve spent my entire life growing up around many types of animals and was always taught to treat each one like family 🩵 I started caring for others pets around 12 years old and have taken care of many species and breeds of animals, owned multiple exotic animals of my own (frogs currently🐸), co-ran a pet sitting business for multiple years where I was watching up to 13+ animals at some points, and am comfortable with every breed-from the never ending energy of a border collie to taking it easy with a senior dog or sitting with them for an hour just to earn a little trust for anxious pups. I am a young, responsible and professional adult, I love the outdoors and taking dogs out into it, I am someone who thrives in an organized environment and am patient and more than willing to work with animals that need to build trust. My top priority is always the safety and happiness of the pets I take care of, always ensuring they are getting the mental stimulation they need as well as knowing their behavior and being able to accordingly keep them in situations they are comfortable and happy in.

Arilynn gave our dog Ollie an absolutely amazing week! Every day they were going on Ollie’s favorite adventures including swimming, hiking, and the dog park. Arilynn kept us well updated sending us adorable photos every day. Best Rover that we have had - we would love to use her again. Thank you!

Patient, caring, responsible, potty trained, sits well, great photos, flexible, keeps my dog SOX smiling, great long off leash trails, SOX was not certain he wanted to leave...only treats got him to come home.
Arilynn did great with Charlie! She came back rested and not overstimulated- a great dogsitter if you have an active breed. Looking forward to future bookings, thank you so much!

Schedule
I work part time as a baker, I have the most availability saturday-Monday, but am available most weekday evenings. I love getting out into nature and am very willing to work with you to fit dog walks, sits or whatever else you may need with my schedule!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood with a small yard, it’s directly across from whatcom falls park and I have lots of access to great trails and the river. I always carry everything I might need in any emergency situation with an animal I’m taking care of, I am very aware of my surroundings and am very good at catching animals behaviors before any situation has escalated and am able to prevent them, from both my animals and strangers. I have spent lots of time training and many hours learning about animals and the physical warnings they show in discomfort, I have always been able to safely remove or prevent my own pets as well as clients from a stressful situation. I have no trouble standing up for my animal if a stranger isn’t taking proper care of theirs and will always put myself between them and harms way.
A typical day
Rain or shine I believe getting dogs outside is super important for their health! I will be taking your dog to the park, lots of walks, to the lake or river (if they swim), and potentially on hikes for high energy dogs. I always make sure to play with toys with any animal I watch as well as provide mental enrichment for older animals or pets restricted to smaller areas. I’d love to know if your dog is high energy so I can come prepared!

- I definitely want to hear a little bit about your pets personality beforehand, what I can expect or any weird/random things they might do. Every animal has its quirks and I like to be able to plan accordingly for the situation, also if your dog is high energy, a big swimmer or anything similar I’d love to know beforehand so I can bring hiking shoes, a towel or water toys, etc.!
