“Kris was great! Her dogs are super sweet. She has a lot of space for them to run around and play. She took my dog on a walk too! Will definitely come back for more doggy daycare in the near future. Thanks again, Kris!”

“Our senior dog is a clingy guy and he certainly loved clinging to Lizz. He was happy to be with her and she was great about taking him out for his daily exercise -- strapping on his leg brace beforehand and icing him afterward -- as well as administering his daily medication. We look forward to seeing Lizz again!”
“My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.
“Tami was fantastic. By coincidence, the first day we took our dog to Tami's place, there had been several inches of snow the night before. There was a small hill on the way to her house thaty sedan wasn't able to handle in those conditions. I let her know we were having trouble getting to her, and she drove out to meet us. Then she did the same when we came to pick our pup up from her. Really went the extra mile for us, and it was very much appreciated. Our dog came home happy and tired, and we'll definitely be going to Tami again in the future.”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Yvonne took such good care of my pup, she is knowledgeable and super willing to work with his quirks and training needs! She makes sure to give such detailed reports of how they spend their day and she gives him great exercise! She also sends lots of photo updates!”

About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.
“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

About: Animals are my passion, and I’ve devoted my life to helping them. I have 25 years of experience rescuing and fostering dogs and cats and volunteering at rescues. I’ve cared for hundreds of pets of all ages and temperaments, and I have plenty of experience helping animals with special health or behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication (pills or injections) or just some extra TLC, they’re in safe, loving hands. I do boarding and doggy day care for small dogs up to 25 lbs and senior pups (8 years+) up to 40 lbs. Caring for your pet is my full time job. I am available 7 days a week and at home 24/7 with the exception of occasional errands. My priority is your pet's safety and happiness, so I spend as much time with them as possible. I decided to start offering daycare and boarding after briefly working at a dog daycare, where I was appalled at the uncaring treatment the dogs received. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priorities, and I will go above and beyond to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Dogs stay cage-free during the day in a cozy lounge designed just for them, with a large tv that plays dog friendly shows, couches, beds, toys, dog puzzles and more. I also make homemade treats and food that your dog is welcome to while they stay here. We’ll also enjoy leashed adventures on my 2.5-acre property. Cats have their own spacious room with climbing trees, cozy beds, scratching posts, and large windows for bird-watching. If your pet needs quiet time or special care, I offer private spaces and tailor everything to their needs. I Your beloved pet is part of my family while they stay here, and they will always have my full attention. If your pet needs quiet time or special care, I offer private spaces and tailor everything to their needs. This is my full-time job, so your pet will always have my full attention.
“Jennifer is fantastic! She is a great communicator and I feel confident leaving my dogs with her. My dogs have a great time with her and come home tired. I highly recommend her!”

“Avielle was easy to communicate with and her dog Toby is super friendly and immediately went into play mode with Sprocket. She kept me updated with pictures and text throughout the day and when we picked up Sprocket we was all tuckered out from playing all day. Thanks Avielle, would happily have you watch him again!”

“Gabriel took Lucy to the lake, introduced her to other dogs, and she didn't want to leave when I picked her up. He accommodated my short notice request and I'm so grateful that Lucy had somewhere safe to go while I headed to work.”

“Karrin is great, super great communication on the app and in person. She sent pictures, although I didn’t get them because I didn’t have WiFi on the whale watching excursion most of the time, until later but she sent me a lot of them for the short amount of time they were with her. She took great care of them. They are looking forward to going back to see her and her puppy tomorrow and spending the night with them!!!”

About: We've raised Bruce, an Aussie-lab mix since 2016, and recently hosted a family members 2 corgis for 6 months during 2020. Prior to Bruce, I helped train our family Chihuahua beginning in 2010. During 2020 we've been working from home, and love taking Bruce out for a 1.5mi 30min walk during lunch. There's many great trails in our neighborhood, and we love exploring all the new trails we can find. We have a fenced yard and the friendliest dog EVER! He literally loves everyone! He's a great walking companion, and loves being in the great outdoors
About: Animals have been at the center of our lives for more than 30 years. From raising and breeding dogs for two decades to working hands on with animals of all kinds, we bring a lifetime of experience, deep knowledge, and grounded compassion to the way we care for pets. As the co-founder of a rescue organization, we have worked with dogs of every breed, temperament, and medical condition. We have supported animals through trauma, healing, old age, and everything in between. This is not just something we do. It is who we are. Together as a mother and daughter team, we run a quiet, private boarding facility for dogs who need more than just a place to stay. Some of the dogs who stay with us are seniors. Some are recovering from surgery or dealing with medical conditions. Some are just emotionally wired for quiet and routine. And some are perfectly healthy but do best in a calm, structured environment. All of them are cared for by the same two people, every day. We do not run a social daycare model. We do not hand your dog off to a rotation of staff. What we offer is consistent, thoughtful, one on one care in a setting designed for peace and safety. Each dog has a large private indoor suite with access to a quiet outdoor run. Our days are structured around rest, movement, enrichment, and calm interaction. We have a fully fenced three acre pasture for supervised off leash time, a heated indoor room for colder days, and plenty of space to stretch, relax, and breathe. We welcome all dogs who do well in this kind of space. We specialize in senior care, special needs, and recovery, but also offer standard boarding for dogs who thrive in a low stress setting. Caring for animals is not a side job here. It is the center of our lives. And we are honored to offer a place where your dog will be safe, known, and truly cared for. Caring for dogs is our daily focus. Every part of our routine is built around making sure the dogs in our care are safe, settled, and cared for. We adjust feeding, potty breaks, walks, and enrichment based on each dog’s needs and schedule, not just a one size fits all plan. We are a mother and daughter team with decades of hands-on experience. Every dog stays in a private indoor suite with a quiet outdoor run and is cared for directly by us. Our three acre fenced pasture allows for secure off leash time, and we also offer group play — but only for dogs who truly enjoy it and do well in that setting. We keep the environment calm, structured, and predictable, with a focus on safety and individual attention.

About: Hello! My name is Kelly and I am an Art Therapist living in Bellingham. I enjoy a plethora of outdoor activities and artistic avenues on my time off, and am always down for a good adventure. I have one amazing canine companion named Pecos. Together we have daily adventures and multiple snuggle sessions. We have enjoyed offering boarding and walking for many different dogs. Pecos is always thrilled to have a play mate in the house. I live with my partner Connor in a two bedroom house with a fenced in yard, tucked away in the Roosevelt neighborhood. We are both home most of the day on weekends. Connor and I work from home at the moment. We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door so the dogs can go in and out. I take Pecos (and visiting dogs) on two long walks a day and use my work breaks to throw the ball in the yard. I have a fenced in yard and Pecos is very open to new friends. We also have a tiled basement that keeps cool in the summer for those really furry boys!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. Evenings are especially flexible for me, as well as overnights and weekends. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

Tami was wonderful! She was open to watching our Trudy for a one-time event while we were enjoyed a full day of non-doggy play while on vacation. Trudy had a BLAST! She came home exhausted. Apparently, she had a grand time in Tami's backyard with her Spaniel. She came back spoiled, but not rotten. Tami is an asset. I wish she lived near me. I would not hesitate to have her watch our Trudy for a short or extended period of time.
