“Kris was AMAZING. She was so flexible, so knowledgeable and caring, and I could tell that she took the best care of Cookie! Cookie came home happily exhausted from playing at her home, and we will absolutely book a stay with Kris next time we’re in the area!!”

“Lenore was absolutely fantastic—better than I could’ve hoped for, especially since it was a last-minute booking for 3 nights! She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”

“It's my first time using Rover, and I absolutely hit the jackpot! Kelsey made the whole experience so easy and relaxed. She took excellent care of my pup. Can't wait to do this again.”
“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“Shannon is super communicative and quick to respond. Best sitter I’ve ever found on Rover. She actually walked my dog multiple times in one day while I boarded my pup with her. Shannon is really flexible with time and put a noticeable effort to be available at the times you need for pick up and drop off.”

“The best dog minder ever. Our Toby loves playing with Archie and gets excited when I mention going over to stay with him. Holly has become almost family to us. Very reliable, friendly.”

“Susan was a great host for my two dogs. She worked around our schedule and showed great compassion for both animals. Would certainly ask her to watch my dogs again.”

“Michelle is so caring and kind, she is the best sitter I’ve ever had. My dog Daisy usually has accidents when she stays in a new place, but she never had any accident with Michelle, Michelle and her family made her feel very safe and cared for. We will definitely book with Michelle anytime we are away!”

“Wow! This was my first Rover.com experience and it couldn't have gone any better! Virginia and family treated my elderly pup, Kipper, like one of their own. He came back worn out, needing a nap and lolling his tongue, as if he'd just returned from a highly satisfying trip to Disneyland. I strongly recommend Virginia for your boarding needs. She paid attention when we explained Kipper's idiosyncrasies, was flexible on pickup and drop-off timing, and obviously played Dog Mom as well as Kipper's own could!”
About: Hi, I’m Trinity! 🐾 I’m a 20-year-old animal lover with extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from energetic puppies to senior sweethearts. I also have hands-on experience caring for cats and rabbits, so I’m comfortable with multi-pet households and different care needs. My family has fostered dogs for 5 years so I have experience with shy or high-energy pets. I’m reliable, kind, and truly enjoy making sure every animal feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and would love the chance to care for yours! 🐶🐱🐰 I work part time once a week and have lots of time outside of class! I have a roommate at home as well who loves pups and has one of her own (a chihuahua) and is there usually when I am not, and is more than willing to help out :) Very walkable neighborhood and dog toys in the apartment! Grassy area outside for quick access to the bathroom and the apartment is kept clean and dogs are allowed on furniture and allowed to free roam the apartment.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. Evenings are especially flexible for me, as well as overnights and weekends. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
“I feel that this was an amazing alternative to kenneling my old girl!! Erin is kind and gentle. Noot was happy when I picked her up but not frantic like she is when I pick her up from the kennel. Great experience!”

“I’m so happy to have found Kelsey. It was my first time boarding Momo so I was a little anxious. I knew she’d be in home hands once I dropped her off. Kelsey was calm, attentive and knowledgeable. He responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures throughout the day. We highly recommend Kelsey and would love to come back.”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“1st time and they took great care of my 3 year old lab. He is high energy and can be a handful. They had a perfect yard for him to run and plan. He made instant friends with their dog and he had a wonderful weekend.”

“Kristyn took amazing care of our dog! This was our first time using rover and we were so pleased. She took him on so many fun adventures and he came home so happy! We got so many nice photo updates so we knew he was in great hands. Booked another time and will continue to do so in the future!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with lots of experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with a Lab, my husband and I had a German Shepherd mix for 12 years (so I’m very familiar with sweet senior energy and all the extra care that comes with it), and now I have Ollie—a high-energy, young husky/german shep mix who keeps life fun and active! Because of Ollie, I’m especially comfortable with large, energetic breeds and understand the structure, exercise, and attention they need to thrive. He LOVES having dog friends around and is incredibly friendly, but he can be a persistent playmate—so if your dog prefers a quieter environment, it might not be the best fit (totally get it… my last dog was the “fun police” too). I work from home, so your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also live right by trails, so daily walks and outdoor time are part of our routine. My home is very much a “dogs on the furniture, snuggles in bed” kind of home, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet, so I’m big on communication and will send plenty of updates and photos so you always feel connected. I’ve even talked about getting a second dog, so Rover has been a perfect way Ollie to have more furry friends around in the meantime. I work from home and so I’m around most of the day unless i’m going to the gym or running errands. I take Ollie for two walks a day so your pup would join us! I have a fully fenced yard for the dogs to romp and stay safe. Part of the fence is a wire field fence so if your dog is a fence hopper, I’d like to be made aware to keep a closer eye out!
“Leslie was great to work with! She put our fears at ease with our new rescue Ruby. We needed a dog sitter at the last minute and for three weeks. Ruby loved her and all the other dogs there. Our international flight got canceled and we needed Leslie to watch Ruby for an extra 1.5 days. No problem! Leslie even bathed her before we picked her up!!”

Shannon is super communicative and quick to respond. Best sitter I’ve ever found on Rover. She actually walked my dog multiple times in one day while I boarded my pup with her. Shannon is really flexible with time and put a noticeable effort to be available at the times you need for pick up and drop off.

Adrienne was communicative and transparent with some anxiety our dog was experiencing, and was flexibile and willing to go out of her way to accomodate her. She sent regular videos and pictures, letting us know our dog was happy and busy while we were out of town. Would recommend 100%!

Just fantastic. Picture updates twice a day. The dogs seemed integrated into their lives and doing all the things they do with us which tells us that our 2 older dogs were happy and didn't struggle to adjust which is all you can ask for. Will help us feel less guilty booking out next trip!!

Verena was marvelous with our two energetic Shelties. They had a wonderful time, and we felt secure with them in her care. I love the photos and videos throughout their visit. Verena is great with dogs and goes out of her way to make them feel safe, relaxed, exercised and happy.

Tara was very knowledgable about special needs dogs, and was so communicative while we were away. She was attentive, sensitive to our dog's needs, and very kind. She sent us pictures of a happy and relaxed pup, which was so nice since it was our first time working together . We would absolutely trust her to take care of our dog again!

Alexis and her partner provide an out-of-town daycare and boarding service for pups, providing pick-up and drop-off, which is really great if you have a busy schedule or kids, like I do. They proposed a trial daycare, showing that they vet dogs before agreeing to take them on for longer spans of time. It's important to them that the dogs get along and are well-behaved with each other, which helped me feel comfortable with boarding my little girl there while I'm on vacation. They were kind to my shy girl, getting her carefully acclimated to the other dogs and giving her time to adjust. They sent me regular photos and updates, showing me how she was doing. She has a hot spot, so they were good about monitoring that and keeping her in good condition. She came back, happy and tired and hot spot none for the worse--which was great! I'm confident she was in safe hands and had a good day socializing with other dogs!
