About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 13, whether that be my friends or family. I am very patient with dogs too so I can handle dogs who are shy or even bold. I volunteered at an animal shelter so I also have lots of experience with senior dogs and puppies. I am a teacher so this is my summer side hustle! So from Wednesday through Saturday , I am available from 11-3. This may change a bit, but I am pretty flexable. I have a fenced-in yard with two dogs and two cats! I have a very shy dog and an independent dog so I am used to working with dogs with different personalities. The same goes for cats! I have had many moody cats in my life so I totally understand a sassy furry friend!

I’m comfortable with cats of all ages and varying personalities and understand getting a cat to be comfortable with someone new is a process and approach it with patience and gentleness. I also have experience with small dogs and really enjoy getting to know each unique pup and seeing their personalities shine. I’m currently in grad school and work part time so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to home visits and helping pet owners in and way I can! As I have two young cats of my own at home, I can only do drop in visits for others and can’t board any pets unfortunately.

About: I previously volunteer at an animal shelter and work with a variety of dogs and cats. I additionally have personal experience with pets at home and taking care of them for my whole life. I am a college student currently. I have a week by week schedule for work. My schedule changes weekly unfortunately but I will try my best to work things out. Over the school year I will be away at college. But I will be available over the December-January month. I have experience walking dogs of all attention spans and make walking a trustworthy activity. “Jamie was great! She came by for a meet and greet to get to know our dog and the routine. She was very communicative, and I felt comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands.”

About: Between the ages of one and three, two very special dogs were introduced to my household. Our first ended up living to sixteen, happy and healthy, aside from deafness, vision loss, and loss of mobility in her back legs. When she passed, my mother, being a long-time dog walker, still decided to host pet meet-ups in our backyard. A few months later, we adopted a cat. And so, I'm grateful to say I've never really been without a pet. Long-time experience in dog walking and short home visits. I've also fostered the occasional dog for some months. Please don't be wary of asking for longer walks; I love them as much as your pet! Summer is a great time to book me. In the fall and early spring, I attend college Mondays through Fridays, but my week is otherwise very open. I can spend up to two hours with your pet, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on any given day. However, this schedule is definitely flexible- reach out to discuss details! Living by the golden rule, I solemnly swear to touch only that which you've asked me to; no snooping. I don't host dogs at my house, but may take them over to my yard if you and your pet feel comfortable and if the weather allows.

About: I grew up with animals and currently have a friendly 2 year old dog who loves to play. I love to go on long walks or hikes. I currently work a full time job but only work 3 days a week so I have plenty of time to take care of your babies. I have a 2 year old dog that gets a long with everyone. I have a big apartment and can crate your pets if needed.

About: I am attentive, responsible, and treat pets with love and care. I am able to assist with administering medications and have a very flexible schedule this summer. I’m working remotely part-time, so I will be largely able to adjust my schedule around pet-sitting. My only unavailable times are Saturday mornings and Monday afternoons. I am very caring and responsible, and treat pets and property with the utmost love and respect, as if they were my own. I am experienced in administering medications.

Couldn’t recommend Jack enough, sad to have lost him out here in Chicago.”
