About: I am a college student who majors in Biomedical Sciences and plans to attend veterinary school after graduation. I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs, since I was young, and have helped care for my own dog since childhood. My passion for animal care has been my motivation to pursue a future in veterinary medicine. Along with caring for my own dogs, I have had experience with dog sitting and dog walking. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities while making sure they are happy, safe, active, and well cared for. I am currently a college student home for summer break, and I am looking for part-time work. I am available almost every day until August 1st. I will be home again for Thanksgiving break, winter break, and spring break. When caring for pets in my client's home, I would follow the pet's normal routine and follow any additional instructions my client has left me while playing and caring for their pet.

About: I've taken care of pets for family and friend since I was young! I always made sure to maintain consistent communication with pet families, tailor my approach to each animal, and stay engaged during my time with them. I've found plenty of time around my class schedule to care for your pets! I'm very flexible for anything from last-minute care to long-term arrangements I will respect your home and abide by any rules or boundaries you may have. I’d treat your pet and home how I’d treat my own. While I don't have the most space, I'm just steps away from open grass and a short walk to the Boston Commons. About: Thomas and I have a 4 year old little guy named Blue. We also watch our family member's dogs and neighborhood dogs. We love it and decided to give Rover a try! II am a teacher with the summer off, so my schedule is open during the week as well as weekends until September. (I will know dates we won't be available soon.) I have a big yard, but at this time it is not fenced. in. We bring our dog out on a leash and he is never unattended. We of course walk him on a leash as well.

This was my first time using the Rover app, and I found Steven’s profile because he lives close to my house. We were going to travel and needed someone to walk Tango and Chico around the same time they normally go out. I shared all the information with Steven, and he accepted right away. We even met before the trip so he could get to know Tango and Chico. We walked together, I showed him their usual route, and everything was set. Steven was always punctual and would let me know when he was arriving so I could turn off the alarm. After each walk, I received the Rover card showing the route, duration, and miles walked — and of course, pictures too. I highly recommend him, and I’ll definitely hire him again whenever I need. Thank you so much, Steven!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lynn. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Lynn.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lynn. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
