About: Over the years i have had 4 dogs 2 cats and a gecko. My love for animals grows everyday. I’ve done everything from baths to administering medicine and even clipping nails This fits my schedule perfectly as i have a few hours free at a time during the week and I’d love to spend it with some animals! All pets will be in a cool environment with controlled heat if in day care but all pets will be treated as if they were my own!

About: Hello! My name is Elise and I’m a dog walker with lots of personal pet training experience that specializes with reactive dogs both large and small. Just give me a list of things your pup may struggle with or that you want them to learn and I will do my best to help them learn to emotionally regulate on walks, around other dogs and people, or just while at home when I’m pet sitting :). I can also write you progress reports and training that should be continued at home for the best results. I can also offer my help to older dogs or dogs with arthritis or other joint/muscle issues. I am a certified personal trainer and a lot of the things I’ve learned about human muscles and pain relief also apply to puppy bodies. Disclaimers: I do not take dogs on off leash walks unless it’s at a private gated property I do not walk multiple dogs in one session as this will often cause/increase reactivity. Depending on how reactive your dog is, how new they are to walks, and how strong they are, I strongly suggest having a muzzle and, in severe cases, may require that they have one for a session. I can always help recommend the most comfortable one for your pet as my 90 lb dog needed one for walks in the beginning of training and still needs it for vet trips :) I taught her that it’s not a punishment and desensitized her to it by associating it with positive things like treats and now she helps me put it on her. I work from 6 am - 9 am every weekday morning and have therapy on Wednesdays at 10. Outside of that, my other commitments are flexible and my main focus is on building my clientele here on rover :) I plan on fulfilling any need/chore my client’s owner lists for me and I offer free training when wanted. Outside of that, I pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and potty/feeding schedule to ensure they are fed on time, let out for potty, taken out for walks, and played with as needed and in a way that is most fulfilling for their breed. For example, I play herding games for herding breeds, lots of training and learning tricks for working breeds, etc. I also love to help dogs with arthritis or other joint/muscle issues by massaging them. I am a certified personal trainer and a lot of the things I’ve learned about human muscles and pain relief also apply to puppy bodies.

About: Plenty of grassy areas for bathroom walks, small fenced in yard on bottom floor condo in a gated community. Hosting only one pet at a time so they’ll get premium care and undivided attention. Host works from home on weekdays and is available for 10-30mins walks 3 times a day in times of a busy schedule, more time is free on lighter days. Fenced in yard within a gated community. Pets are permitted. All areas inside and outside are open to the pet with the exception of one sealed room. Please provide your own food and supplies that the pet requires while hosting is needed.

About: Hi my name is Vanessa and I have a Vietnamese Ridgeback. He's a very anxious boy that requires a lot of patience and creativity to encourage him to be brave. I take him on at least a 30 minute walk in the morning and evening. Which includes potty breaks, sniffing, running, and stopping to enjoy some sunshine. In days when he feels too anxious to walk, we do indoor games that includes throwing treats around the house, hiding treats, sniffle mats, and tricks for treats. This will ensure that he still has mental stimulating alternatives and exercise. I have taken care of all sizes of dogs, some anxious, some pups, and some old. I will give them the same care, patience, understanding, and love they need when they are in my care. I have taken care of a few cats. I know that they take some time to adjust and I ensure to give them the space to trust me. I will try to honor their space, take the time to build their trust, ensure that they are still shown care, love, and respect. I love animals and I cant wait to meet more. (: I work full time in San Francisco. My days and time are limited due to the travel time and working hours. I hope that I can still accommodate to your pets needs. I’ll bring treats and spoil your furry friends! Walks, cuddles and playtime are my specialty! I just finished my semester of school and am pretty free for the summer! I love excuses to go out of the house and go on walk adventures with dogs or cuddles with your cat (or walk them if they like walks too!) For walks I can double leash just for added security and safety with dogs. I can swing by during set times you want me to be there, give food and play or go on walks.
