About: I’ve lived with animals my whole life; at both houses we had at least 3 cats and 3 dogs at a time with the occasional hamster, rat, snake, or rabbit. I’ve adopted most of my pets from shelters, and have helped raised two litters (one was kittens, the other was puppies). Having a wide variety of animals introduced me to a wide array of personality types from friendly and cuddly to moody or shy. These experiences have taught me to have an abundance of patience and understanding, and to be able to adapt to individual needs. The animals I’ve watched/raised/trained have been all different breeds and sizes; from a 3 pound chihuahua to a 85 pound German/Pitt mix. I’ve taken care of older dogs, who need extra care, as well as sick dogs and/or dogs with preexisting conditions who require medications once, twice, or three times a day. Not only have I helped with my animals, but I’ve watched other peoples houses/pets as well. I’m pretty much a homebody, so aside from a couple hours each day, I’m available and flexible and can hangout with your pets for as long as you need. I’m a great communicator too, so if an issue were to arise, I will reach out right away because your pet’s health and well-being is my top priority. I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is open and flexible. I do prefer a couple of days of notice in advanced, unless it’s an emergency. I will take care of your pet however you need me to. When it comes your pets health and well-being, I know you know what’s best, and I will never disrespect your wants or needs. If you need me to house sit, I will respect your property. I’m very neat, organized, and clean (slightly OCD) so I would never leave a mess.

For walks or visits, I would stay aware of my surroundings, keep dogs secure on their leash, avoid unsafe situations, and pay attention to how they’re acting. About: I grew up in a household with furry family members my whole life. Once I moved out, I had my own reptile companions with me. Upon settling into a permanent lifestyle, I became a mother of 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have experience with animal husbandry on farms and homesteads: horses, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and pigs. I have experience with exotic animals, including reptiles, birds, and snakes. I have experience with Dog Widwifery, when 2 dogs on a homestead I lived on became pregnant. I assisted the mother dogs to deliver their puppies: 1 mama delivered 8, and 1 mama delivered 9. I looked after these 2 mama dogs and their 17 puppies for 8 weeks until they were old enough for adoption. My 2 dog children were Bear and Agwedjiman - lab/great dane/mastiff breeds. My dog nephew, Dexter, is a schipperke. I have a strong love for cats and dogs, and appreciate their compassionate, gentle and calming nature. I love being around animals and making them happy, as well as making sure all their needs are met with great care.

About: Hi my name is Vanessa and I have a Vietnamese Ridgeback. He's a very anxious boy that requires a lot of patience and creativity to encourage him to be brave. I take him on at least a 30 minute walk in the morning and evening. Which includes potty breaks, sniffing, running, and stopping to enjoy some sunshine. In days when he feels too anxious to walk, we do indoor games that includes throwing treats around the house, hiding treats, sniffle mats, and tricks for treats. This will ensure that he still has mental stimulating alternatives and exercise. I have taken care of all sizes of dogs, some anxious, some pups, and some old. I will give them the same care, patience, understanding, and love they need when they are in my care. I have taken care of a few cats. I know that they take some time to adjust and I ensure to give them the space to trust me. I will try to honor their space, take the time to build their trust, ensure that they are still shown care, love, and respect. I love animals and I cant wait to meet more.
