About: As a former owner of two special needs pets, I understand the need for individualized care, especially when considering being away and leaving them with a sitter. I have spent the past 4 years employed in a 24 hr Pet Emergency Hospital as an ER and Intensive Care Unit veterinary assistant. I can provide the sometimes slightly harder to find services for your pets, including the ability to provide comfort with the administration of any and all eye, ear, nose, throat and oral / sublingual medications. Sub q fluids, insulin shots and blood glucose pokes for monitoring and logging are no problem! Ear cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expression, bathing, and safe de-matting are also services I can provide, as well as a variety of physically therapeutic treatments. There's no task too big or too intimidating for me. - No details too tedious. I am grateful to be able to do it all for you while you cannot be there. I will care for your pets as if they are my very own. I work a 3-4 night weekly schedule, leaving me plenty of extra time for taking care of others pets. Specializing in hospice and palliative care spaces, I will give your ailing or senior pets all I can in our time together. As far the healthy, middle aged or very young pets, I can also do everything with them just as you would if you were home. I look at it as my priority to keep your babies schedules & routines as normal as possible when you cannot be home. I hold a deep reverence for the sick, special needs or disadvantaged animals that are the hearts of our homes. I keep your pet on their daily routines and schedules, especially when it comes to their diets, medications or physically therapeutic programs. I follow your instructions down the the finest details ensuring normalcy of their feeding and medication schedules, playtime, walks, TLC and playtime. I have the upmost respect for your home and your privacy and promise to do all things exactly how you'd like them done while you cannot be there.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a teenager. Whether it was going to a relatives house or taking local neighbors dogs on walks. I am very flexible and I am able to accommodate early and late drop offs. I am available during the week, weekends and many of the holidays. I sweep daily to keep small objects off the floor. I keep an eye on the dog at all times. If the dog is crate trained I follow the same schedule that you have.

About: As a dog owner myself, I love long walks and hang outs with my 4 legged friends. At home I have 2 dogs of my own, Bruno a 3 year old LabPit mix, who is friendly, loving, and very active. He loves to play fetch and run but also cuddle on the sofa when resting at home. Lola is a 10 year old Maltese/Shih tzu mix who loves her naps and shorter walks. Our daily activities include long walks or runs around the neighborhood; twice a day and a short midday walk. Although Lola doesn’t always keep up with her brother, she enjoys accompanying us in our hikes and so she comes along in her backpack! At home we also I also have 2 parakeets who bring us lots of joy. Aside from my personal pets, I have also fostered 11 dogs through an organization here in Staten Island. I took in dogs ranging of ages from 3 puppies of 5 weeks to a 6 year old pup. Some with medical need such as taking prescribed medication, special diets or receiving medicated baths. Here your furry friend will have company from my two 4 legged friends, she/he will play and receive lots of physical activity, but if they are more couch potatoes, that works too! Their needs will be catered. They will be part of our pack until you are ready to return home! During weekdays, pets will receive morning, afternoon and night walks. During days when I am at work, they get their longer walks during the afternoon and nights since I work 8-3 outside of the home. In the afternoon I make sure to give them lots of attention and weather permitting, take them to the yard to play fetch or let them run around a bit. During weekends, they receive longer walks/ park visits earlier in the day. Morning walks turn into park visits or small hikes, then midday walks depending on when we get home and night walks. Although my yard is not fenced, I have long 30 ft leashes long give your dog opportunity to run as they pleased. At my home, they will have friends to play with, feel love and care for. I love communicating with fur parents on how their pets are doing and easing any worry they may have about leaving their pet behind.
