She was dependable, very communicative throughout our time away and went above to make sure all of Freddie’s needs were met. Also, Freddie gets scared with thunder and fireworks, so she sometimes came back to him having made a mess of his puppy pads and she never complained but did anything she could to make sure his area was cleaned up and he was comfortable again. We felt very secure with her and would not hesitate to use her services again!”

About: I’ve raised my own dog since he was a puppy, so I know exactly what dogs need at every stage. From early morning walks to keeping them entertained and fed, it’s just part of my daily routine. I didn’t just own a dog I grew up with him. Your dog will get the same attention and care I give mine every single day. Dogs get a morning walk around 10–10:30am, then they’re free to relax in the living room or hang out in the fenced backyard. Once it cools down in the evening I take them out again around 6–7pm. During the day they have access to the backyard for potty breaks whenever they need it. Before bed there’s one last walk around 11–11:30pm so they’re settled for the night. I have a fenced backyard so dogs can roam and play safely without any worry. I own a friendly dog myself so your pup will have a buddy to hang out with. We’re in a house so there’s plenty of space to move around and get comfortable. Dogs are welcome on the furniture I want them to feel at home, not like they’re in a strange place.

About: As a dog owner myself, I love long walks and hang outs with my 4 legged friends. At home I have 2 dogs of my own, Bruno a 3 year old LabPit mix, who is friendly, loving, and very active. He loves to play fetch and run but also cuddle on the sofa when resting at home. Lola is a 10 year old Maltese/Shih tzu mix who loves her naps and shorter walks. Our daily activities include long walks or runs around the neighborhood; twice a day and a short midday walk. Although Lola doesn’t always keep up with her brother, she enjoys accompanying us in our hikes and so she comes along in her backpack! At home we also I also have 2 parakeets who bring us lots of joy. Aside from my personal pets, I have also fostered 11 dogs through an organization here in Staten Island. I took in dogs ranging of ages from 3 puppies of 5 weeks to a 6 year old pup. Some with medical need such as taking prescribed medication, special diets or receiving medicated baths. Here your furry friend will have company from my two 4 legged friends, she/he will play and receive lots of physical activity, but if they are more couch potatoes, that works too! Their needs will be catered. They will be part of our pack until you are ready to return home! During weekdays, pets will receive morning, afternoon and night walks. During days when I am at work, they get their longer walks during the afternoon and nights since I work 8-3 outside of the home. In the afternoon I make sure to give them lots of attention and weather permitting, take them to the yard to play fetch or let them run around a bit. During weekends, they receive longer walks/ park visits earlier in the day. Morning walks turn into park visits or small hikes, then midday walks depending on when we get home and night walks. Although my yard is not fenced, I have long 30 ft leashes long give your dog opportunity to run as they pleased. At my home, they will have friends to play with, feel love and care for. I love communicating with fur parents on how their pets are doing and easing any worry they may have about leaving their pet behind.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my family, and have moved out and have adopted a cat on my own. I am familiar with what makes pets happy and how to take care of them. I’ve dog sat for close friends and family before and am confident I will be a great resource to count on. I’m working part time and do drive so I am comfortable commuting. It gives me more time to focus on dog and cat care! Safety and trust are prioritized when it comes to pets. About: I love dogs, they are my favorite animal. I am very passionate about taking care of, walking, playing etc with dogs and will do the best I can with your awesome furry companion. All I require to take care of your doggy is a schedule detailing what you would do normally with them on the daily. I can give your dog all the attention and care they need during the day, again I love all kinds of dogs and will do anything to make your furry friend very happy. I have a dog of my own named jax, he is 4 years old and I have been taking care of him since me and my family bought him home from the new jersey dog shelter.

I also worked at the Petsmart PetsHotel where I took care of and cleaned up after cats and dogs. I take care of my cat, grooming, playing, feed her, and I clean up after her. I also had a job with the dogs and cats in the Petsmart PetsHotel. Something you should also know is that I do have part time job and I am in school, so my schedule is always changing, but we can always work something out!

About: There was never a time in my household where we had fewer than 3 pets, and at other times we've had up to 7 or 8. I've lived my entire life loving and taking care of dogs and cats, and now that I'm home from school and in need of work on the side, I'd love to be there to take care of yours. I'm a recent college grad looking to hustle as I look for my first professional experience in my field, and get to know your pooch. I have experience with very young and senior dogs and cats, and I also have experience administering medications to them as aerosols, oral tablets, and injectables. If you need my services on a day that's not on my calendar, reach out to me and let me know- I may be able to figure out something that works for you! Currently I work soft hours during the day and overnights for part of the week. So, I will have plenty of time in the rest of the week to be by for your pooch. A typical drop-in will include playtime and attention in addition to satisfying needs, and a typical walk will be approximately one mile long, depending on the dog's size and physical ability.

About: Having grown up in a household full of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and hedgehogs I possess a lifelong "animal intuition" and a deep comfort level with various species. What truly sets me apart is my hands on experience managing a multi-pet home with my own three cats, which has made me an expert in feline behavior and resource management. Whether it is providing the patient, attentive monitoring required for senior pets or the delicate handling needed for small exotic animals, I am highly adaptable to each pet's unique needs and personality. My schedule is very flexible during the latter half of the week. From Monday to Wednesday, I work as a therapist in Brooklyn. On Thursdays and Fridays, I only have two cases in Staten Island totaling about two hours, which leaves me with plenty of availability from Thursday through Sunday. Caring for animals is a deeply healing experience for me. While I am a huge dog lover, my own home is currently a cat-only household because we rescued three cats from a shelter, one of whom is extremely sensitive to dogs. To ensure her comfort, we decided not to own a dog ourselves, so pet sitting gives me a wonderful opportunity to fulfill my passion for working with dogs.
