“Gab is truly amazing. She’s patient and kind and wonderful with our babies. This has been the longest we’ve been gone and had absolutely no worries knowing they were in THE BEST hands while we were away. We are the luckiest to have Gab as our pet sitter and will never be able to thank her enough 🩵🥰”

“Tammy is absolutely amazing! From the moment I met her at the meet and greet, I knew I had found a great dog sitter. She is the kindest, most reliable, caring and experienced dog sitter I've ever met. I trust her 1000% with my fur baby. She sends updates with photos and videos. She made the separation for the day worry free. She is the best!”

“Tara is wonderful. She takes great care of our senior dog, sending updates and pictures daily. She also takes incredible care of our home - it is always spotless when we return. She was super flexible when we had to change travel plans last minute. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Karen provided wonderful care for our two dogs. She provided constant updates as well as pictures during her entire stay which was very much appreciated. You could definitely tell the dogs were well cared for and comfortable around Karen. She also left the house clean and tidy! We had a great trip away knowing our dogs were in great hands with Karen.”

Your pet will be safe here with no other animals to bother them, can crate upon your request. My career in healthcare has taught me the value of patience, attention to detail, and compassionate care, not just for people, but for every living being I encounter. I’ve worked in both hospice and diagnostic imaging environments, where I helped ease patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. That experience has shaped me into a calm, reliable, and nurturing caretaker, someone who understands the importance of safety, comfort, and trust, whether I’m supporting a person or a beloved family pet. After years of dedication to full-time work, I’ve recently shifted my focus to furthering my education through online study. This new chapter has given me the flexibility and time to return to something that has always brought me joy: caring for animals. With my schedule now wide open, I’m able to provide attentive, personalized care through house sitting, pet sitting, drop-in visits, and boarding services. The passing of my senior rescue dog, Tony Montana, was a deeply emotional moment that reminded me just how meaningful the human-animal bond can be. In his honor, I’m now choosing to open my heart and home to help others. Whether you need peace of mind while you’re traveling or consistent, loving support for your pet while you’re away, I’m here, eager, dependable, and ready to serve with the same compassion I brought to healthcare. 🐾 Experienced & Compassionate Animal Care with a Medical Touch 🐾 Hi there! I have a senior dog friendly cat that minds her business and stays out of everyone’s way. She has been chased by small and big dogs and never became scared or aggressive as they were simply overstimulated and were not allowed to even reach her. So besides a cat thats nowhere to be seen and is unbothered by other cats and dogs, your pet would be spoiled rotten here.
“Beth was truly amazing!!! Me and my now husband got married last weekend and we were stressing about our fur babies since everyone who would watch him were going to be away with us. I reached out to Beth and from the minute we started speaking I knew they would be in good hands. My cat is friendly and easy to take care of but my dog Capone is a large scared anxious boy. He gets depressed when we aren’t around. Beth sent me pictures and updates the whole weekend. She was patient with him and made him feel comfortable. He definitely warmed up to her and now has a new friend. When we got back and she came by he was so excited to see her! I can’t thank her enough and will definitely be using her again to watch my fur babies!”

“This was my first time having someone stay and take care of my puppy and cat. With Alex it was a wonderful experience. Her communication was excellent. She sent updates and photos of my pets. Alex made my anxiety go away and I could enjoy my weekend away.”

I basically treat them like my child.I love walks so we will go on plenty of walks. I follow instructions very well so any type of medicine or food times will be followed.
About: I’ve had pet care experience my whole life. When ever anyone in my family needed a pet sitter I was there, from dogs cats and lizards I do it all. If you leave your pet with me I promise you they will get the best care they need. I’m currently working part time so I am free some days of the week but I’m always free on weekends. So just message me and we can figure something out I have a big backyard that’s fenced in so your pet will have a lot of time to run around and have fun when we’re not on walks and I have no other pets in my house at the moment so when it gets too hot we can go inside.
About: Having grown up in a household full of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and hedgehogs I possess a lifelong "animal intuition" and a deep comfort level with various species. What truly sets me apart is my hands on experience managing a multi-pet home with my own three cats, which has made me an expert in feline behavior and resource management. Whether it is providing the patient, attentive monitoring required for senior pets or the delicate handling needed for small exotic animals, I am highly adaptable to each pet's unique needs and personality. My schedule is very flexible during the latter half of the week. From Monday to Wednesday, I work as a therapist in Brooklyn. On Thursdays and Fridays, I only have two cases in Staten Island totaling about two hours, which leaves me with plenty of availability from Thursday through Sunday. Caring for animals is a deeply healing experience for me. While I am a huge dog lover, my own home is currently a cat-only household because we rescued three cats from a shelter, one of whom is extremely sensitive to dogs. To ensure her comfort, we decided not to own a dog ourselves, so pet sitting gives me a wonderful opportunity to fulfill my passion for working with dogs. My personal experience with a high-needs, sensitive rescue cat has made me exceptionally patient and skilled in handling pets with various temperaments and specific needs. My approach to pet care focuses on proactive health, hygiene, and emotional well-being. In my own home and when sitting for clients, I prioritize hydration by mixing water and specialized supplements like cranberry powder into wet food to support urinary health, and I ensure a clean environment by scooping litter and washing bowls daily. Most importantly, I understand that pets—especially cats—communicate through subtle, "high-frequency, low-impact" social cues; I provide gentle affection and verbal greetings without overstimulating them, ensuring they feel respected and safe. I treat every animal as a sentient companion, balancing structured routines with the quiet, intuitive interaction they need to thrive.
About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do it’s something I love. With over seven years of hands on experience, I’ve worked with pups of all ages, from energetic puppies who need structure and play, to senior dogs who deserve gentle care and patience. But what truly sets me apart isn’t just my background it’s how I show up for every dog I meet. I believe dogs need more than just food and potty breaks they thrive on connection, routine, and fun. Whether it’s going on engaging walks, getting in some solid playtime, working on basic training, or just lounging with belly rubs and calm companionship, I focus on giving each dog exactly what they need to feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I treat every dog like my own and I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet. That’s why I keep you updated, send pics, and make sure your pup is not only well cared for, but genuinely enjoying their time Believe your dog is in great hands. Pet care is a daily priority, including feeding, exercise, and affection, ensuring seamless integration into my routine, prioritizing furry companions' well-being, and with weekly tasks like grooming and vet visits ensuring their well-being. In my client's home, I tailor pet care to their specific needs, providing feeding, exercise, and companionship. Home care varies based on service type and client preferences.
“Dana is amazing. She’s super responsive and reliable. I didn’t have to check in because she was great at sending me updates/pics.I have been looking for someone whom I can consistent call on when I go out of town and am happy to have found her. Definitely recommend!”

“Oleg was amazing! I have a very difficult cat, and he was very patient and calm with her. He is communicative and sends updates daily along with photos. I felt secure being away from home knowing he was taking care of my fur baby. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: With my compassionate and caring nature, and familiarity with the basic needs of animals. I have the ability to care for your pet perfectly. I have been fervent about animals since I was a mere child and this love for animals has grown over the years. I own 1 cat and have 1 dog back home – all are extremely well taken care of. Therefore, I am able to provide the same amount of love and care for your dog as I do it for my own pets. My comprehension of the needs of pets, especially those of dogs, is outstanding – from feeding them food with the right nutrients to walking them, I know it all. Moreover, I possess knowledge of vaccination schedules, therefore, would be able to effectively manage the appointments with the vet, if ever needed.. I additionally added a dog cam in my house , just in case i had to run a few errands. My number 1 priority is to make sure each and every pet i take care if well cared for as I would for
About: From childhood, I have been surrounded by pets. We always had dogs of different breeds, I took care of them and spent a lot of time with them. I also have experience in training dogs of small breeds. I also worked in the nursery of the French bulldogs, I took care of several puppies and adult dogs I currently do not work, so I will have a lot of time to spend time with your pets! I am available for boarding on weekends and weekdays at any time Our house is completely dog friendly. I have a fenced-in yard and there is a place for walking the dogs. My house always available for dogs of all breeds.
About: Hello, Thank you for stopping by! My name is Jennifer. I currently have 3 kitties of my own. I do know how nerve-racking it could be leaving your pet with someone. I have left prior sitters visuals, maps, drawings when I have gone away (thank you OCD lol). I am probably a bit much but I need to know that while I'm away, my fur children are in nurturing loving hands not missing me. To say I am protective is an understatement. *I just came back to the site after having a few extensive surgeries so please do not go by the early reviews as I was only on here for a few months until I had to have surgeries - I’m doing great now :)* ***Please before you go on reading…yes, I understand my fees are higher than most. Upon meeting me, you will understand why. I will offer knowledge that may help you with your furbaby. If you are having a hard time with behavioral issues where other sitters won’t know what to do, I most likely will. The plethora of knowledge about dogs/cats/horse/fish/etc that is infinite. I may be able to offer you a couple tips that are possibly life changing. No, I do not have all the answers (if anyone says they do…you should most likely run). However, my knowledge regarding animals is far superior than the average pet sitter. I am 43 years old. I have chosen to take on this work because my heart is very into it. However, now that I am mostly home working on a project it makes it easier for me to sit for your pet. Unfortunately, boarding a doggo overnight within my home who has a lot of behavioral issues would not be a good fit for my cats nor is it fair to do this to them. If it is a mini breed or a larger vet well trained dog, we can discuss (please reach out as it can’t hurt to ask). I wouldn’t mind staying at your home on a case by case basis. If you needed me to give your pets a lot of love, adoration, full blown attention-enforce your commands that you’d like for me to withhold, have a couple of cognitive/ physical training sessions to help you with some behavioral issues/keep your pup sharp or even if it’s administering medications, etc…all your pets needs will be meet efficiently. If this is what you seek, I may be your gal. I welcome cameras in the home so that you are able to see how well your beloved companion is doing with me. I wish more people had cameras so that everyone gets to see how their pet is truly doing while you’re away! My experience with animals comes from years over time of being involved with rescue, surrounded by trainers, healers, tons and tons of self knowledge, audio books, old fashioned books, etc. I was born to hear animals and I consider it a huge gift. It is in my nature that when I am with your pet that my FULL attention is with your pet and your pet only. I myself have hired pet sitters who would sit on their phone in front of me while pet sitting and it was pretty irritating. I know the type of person I would want (and not want) watching my animals because I have been there before with kittens/cat/puppies/dogs. Another pet peeve of mine would be walking into a dog park and the owners aren't paying close attention to their dogs. Unfortunately, we live in an age where cell phones have become top priority and then the pup is put into a bad situation because of the lack of attention. I have seen it time after time and it has left me with a bad taste. This will never happen with me. If I don’t like the vibes - I don’t enter in. There is a proper way to introduce dogs and it’s not nose to nose but rather behind to behind. Dogs are not humans (well some are lol) they are dogs. They read the room very differently than how we would. I promise you wholeheartedly that this is something you will never have to worry about. You pet has my UNDIVIDED love and attention at all times on my watch. It is pertinent for your pet that I uphold and take full responsibility as your pet sitter to give them full attention the entire time they are with me. All of my pups learned their basic commands very early on. It means everything to me when a dog is speaking the same language as its owner. I wish to take your lead and follow everything precisely. When putting a dog on a "heel" command during a walk, my attention has to be two places: 1- On the pup and 2- Observant of the environment. I have fostered 2 dogs and have trained 3 dogs. I have broken the prey drive of 2 beautiful pit bulls and one Tree Walking Coonhound/Terrier dog with my cats. I have also broken anxiety of one of the dogs I was fostering. Truly it was a lot of work, time, patience, repetition and more patience but I got to learn so much about speaking dog. They teach you so many things. I had a very hard time finding someone to board my pup when I had him because I knew a bit more than they did which left me on edge. I sifted through a lot of sitters and it wasn't until I had someone teaching me something that I felt 100% confident in leaving my fur baby with them. I have worked along side with trainers and have read heaps fulls of dog language books/manuals/dvd's etc. I have been called the dog whisperer, cat whisperer/animal whisperer. I have also attended workshops for animal communication to further my education with animals. I look forward to building a career from this. I have obtained one Bachelors degree and a second Associates degree as well as obtaining my NYS license for massage therapy (for humans lol). I am very passionate about animals and have been called a healer. I am Reiki 2 Certified and do Reiki for animals. My entire heart is into this because animals don't have a voice. When I tell someone I can speak cat or dog they may look at me like I am from the funny farm but it’s true. There is a way of listening to an animal by its body language, sounds, breathing, even yawning etc. I have been clipping nails since high school of anxious pet owners pets nails, wiped out floppy ears, burrito wrapped cats for clippings, I’m able to administer medicine without a problem (there are tricks for this), brushing, you name it and I've probably done it. Anyway I can help, I am always willing if it’s for the cause of an animal. Snuggles are my favorite thing along with interactive puzzle type of games that your pups will crave if they would be so kind to join me. No job is too big for me to handle : ) Please let me know if you would like the garbage taken out, plants watered, etc. I am able to light housework if necessary. I will send a TON of pics upon your request because I know how on edge, especially first time sits could be for an owner. NOTE***Please let me know if your dog gets along with cats as this is the only way I can accept them for the safety of my own fur children as well as for the safety of your own pup*** Any information provided for your pet, I will adhere to. I always take 30 min to an hour a day for play/brush when it comes to my own. Please let me know your instructions- dog/cats likes and dislikes, allergies etc. I prefer crated pets because with this, it comes security and a lot less anxiety for your pet when used correctly and for positive reinforcement only. I like to think of it as a floating bedroom for them :) Looking forward to meeting you and your fur-baby/fur-babies soon! *Please note, yes…my fees are more than average because I am at a very advanced level when it comes to caring for you furbaby/furbabies. I would be willing to make and exception if the opportunity (especially be it someone local/within my mileage) presented itself! Thank you for carefully reading my profile. I look forward to a meet and greet with you and your fuzzy friend/s. I am currently working from home so I am pretty flexible where as time is concerned. Occasionally I will run to the store and back but it also depends on the dog so if I had to prepare myself a few days before your dogs arrival, I have no problem with this at all. I am flexible where this is concerned :) Let’s talk…maybe there is something I have missed in my profile but I try to be as descriptive as possible. I appreciate you taking the time to read everything I have written. Quite the novel, I am aware but I feel as a fellow pet owner myself, that you would want to know everything about who your pet is spending quality time with so I try to be as thorough as possible 🙂 Please see everything I have written on top as I believe I have covered all my bases where this is concerned. Thank you again for taking the time reading my full profile! Any questions I’d be happy to answer them, just please shoot me a message :)
About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was 5 years old. I currently have two puppies named Bodhi and Utah and have a long history of dog walking/sitting! Some of those dogs are posted on my profile :)) I am currently working full time in insurance. Pet care will be able to fit on my days off, the weekend, and after work! I will always be open to fit in time for pets. I have a fenced yard and security alarms in my house to keep everyone safe. Also, taking care of children has made me very aware and on my toes in different situations.
Huguenot pet parents share their Rover experiences
Beth was very communicative and flexible while accommodating our last minute plans to travel for Christmas Eve and Day. I met with Beth prior to our travel and she asked questions, provided references who were happy to provide glowing recommendations, and even returned back to meet my spouse who wasn’t available at our initial meeting. During our travel she took very good care of my dog and parrot, providing updates throughout the two days she was watching them including photos of our pets which set our minds at ease knowing our animals looked happy and well taken care of while we were away. There were absolutely zero issues with Beth. We are so happy to have found a trusted pet sitter to watch our pets.
