About: Hello fellow animal lovers. I am a Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of experience for caring for hundreds of dogs, cats, birds and any kind of animal you can think of. My husband Andres is also a vet tech with over 15 years of experience and he helps me take care of any of the pets I watch. I used to mainly watch dogs in my home but since Covid we had a baby and she is allergic to dogs so I can't board in my home anymore which makes me very sad. Hopefully my daughter will grow out of her allergies eventually because we really do miss having dogs in our home and she loves dogs too. So now I can only do drop in visits at your home for any type of pet. I am currently not working and am a stay at home Mom but my daughter is in school now so I can do drop ins during school hours and then after my husband comes home from work in the evenings. I have taken care of hundreds of cats as a Veterinary Technician over the years in all stages of life and many types of illnesses and diseases. I have worked with all types and many different breeds of cats as well. I have experience with cats with all different types of personalities and behavioral issues and try to take my time with any of them that are fearful and try to gain their trust and show them that I just want to show them love like you do. I was trained to practice fear free medicine as a vet tech. I have dedicated my life to caring for and helping all animals and I have loved every second of it. From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). About: Growing up, I have always looked after dogs of close friends and family, and have studied nutrition and health, which led me to work at a pet hotel for about a year with almost every dog breed. About: I was 13 when I got my first Pomeranian puppy. Having a Pomeranian helped teach me patience, calming down an anxious puppy, and understanding boundaries. I also have experience with more hyper breeds such as border collies. When I was 17 my brother bought home a border collie and I helped raise him a lot. I also had many lizards and hamsters. I love bonding with different animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Currently working part time. So I have plenty of time to myself. I am looking for something that makes me feel more connected with myself so I am giving rover a try :) I care for my pets by simply being gentle and trying to understand them. For example- my dog hates the broom when I am sweeping. Instead of yelling at her I put down the broom, picked her up and told her it’s okay. I set her down on my bed, gave her a biscuit, and picked up the broom. As I did this I spoke in a soft voice and told her she’s being good and that it’s okay.

“My furbaby was comfortable with Keirstin. He spent a day with her before his 3 nights of boarding. He was quite excited to see her again to start his boarding for which I was pleased to see. While we were away, Keirstin sent us photos and updates and she was very responsive when I asked questions about his settling in her home. Thank you Keirstin.”

“I was honestly very nervous about leaving my dog with someone for the first time in 7 years — I think I had more separation anxiety than he did! 😂 But Isabelle made the whole experience incredibly easy and completely worry-free. She sent me daily updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious very quickly that my dog absolutely loved her — and dogs are usually pretty good judges of character! Isabelle clearly knows dogs, understands their behavior, and knows exactly how to handle and care for them. By the end of the stay, I wasn’t sure if my dog was going to be happy to see me or ask if he could stay with Isabelle a few more days. 😂 I would absolutely trust Isabelle with my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced dog sitter.
