“Jacqueline is the get away Hotel for my cat. He spent five nights being pampered, given time in the fresh air, and the center of attention with her entire family over the weekend. He sleeps out in the open which shows he is comfortable and lets the family play with him and rub his belly which he rarely allows. Jacqueline shares numerous videos pictures and text updates. My guy is actually adjusting coming back home; I’m not sure he was ready to leave his vacation! It’s just he and I so now I feel bad he left all of his friends at Jacqueline’s house! She and her family are truly wonderful people and take very good care of my cat. Thank you, so much, for taking care of my little turkey!”

My husband Andres is also a vet tech with over 15 years of experience and he helps me take care of any of the pets I watch. I used to mainly watch dogs in my home but since Covid we had a baby and she is allergic to dogs so I can't board in my home anymore which makes me very sad. Hopefully my daughter will grow out of her allergies eventually because we really do miss having dogs in our home and she loves dogs too. From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and clearly loved by animals, stop looking—you’ve found them. Just be warned: your pets may start expecting this level of service from you afterward. I still haven't mastered Tammy's double-Churu-dispensing skills, and the judgment from our girls is palpable.”

Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an energetic adult, or a senior who needs extra patience and gentle care, I'll treat them with the same kindness and attention I would give my own family. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet. I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and after 1 PM on Saturdays. While I work in a pediatrics office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, I am able to check on pets before work, during my break, and again after work to ensure they receive consistent care, companionship, exercise, and attention throughout the day. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet's routine and will do my best to keep them comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I take the time to learn each pet's needs, including feeding schedules, exercise preferences, medications, and any special instructions. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and potty breaks while ensuring they feel secure and loved. In a client's home, I respect their space and work to keep their pet's routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress. In my home, pets are welcomed into a clean, safe, and caring environment where they receive supervision, companionship, and plenty of love. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make their time away from their family as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
About: Growing up, I have always looked after dogs of close friends and family, and have studied nutrition and health, which led me to work at a pet hotel for about a year with almost every dog breed. My responsibilities included prepping food, cleaning, 1 on 1 play, and group play. I have been in charge of up to 20 dogs at 1 time. I also co-own a dog named Luna. The other owner and I had Luna since she was a puppy and she is now 5 years old. I teach obedience/behavior training to many dogs and I develop trust with dogs that is unique to my experience with various breeds. It takes patience and consistency to be a great leader for dogs and I wear my heart on my sleeve for every dog I'm caring for; communication with your dog is key. I currently work with dogs full time and make Dog care apart of my every day routine, if I'm not with my dog I'm working with other dogs. I have a good size open backyard and toys depending on the play style of your dog; crate training is much appreciated if they are familiar. Walks are frequent, especially for high energy dogs
