“Jane was so lovely and her dog Fancy is so cute! Our puppers needed a one night boarding while we were at a wedding. Jane took great care of him and sent so many photos, videos, and updates throughout the night and the next morning. She asked great questions if she was unsure of things. I loved the communication and flexibility Jane provided. Our dog was so happy when we came back to pick him up which let us know he had a great time at Jane’s! Would definitely recommend as a sitter!”

“Vince is amazing. He put my mind at peace with just 1 meet & greet visit. It’s like Magik returned from Hogwarts University 🪄dog edition. Can’t wait to use Vincent’s services again.”

“Nervana and her family were wonderful with our 2 dogs. We used her for a full week while we went away on vacation. She was super communicative, giving us updates with pictures and videos daily. Our dogs were very happy and it was obvious she provided a caring and loving environment for them. Would 100% recommend Nervana.... :)”

“Jacqueline is the get away Hotel for my cat. He spent five nights being pampered, given time in the fresh air, and the center of attention with her entire family over the weekend. He sleeps out in the open which shows he is comfortable and lets the family play with him and rub his belly which he rarely allows. Jacqueline shares numerous videos pictures and text updates. My guy is actually adjusting coming back home; I’m not sure he was ready to leave his vacation! It’s just he and I so now I feel bad he left all of his friends at Jacqueline’s house! She and her family are truly wonderful people and take very good care of my cat. Thank you, so much, for taking care of my little turkey!”

“Lucky was cared for amazingly and i was sent pictures updating me and showing me him having a great time looking happy healthy and well taken care of. I will be leaving lucky with you guys again whenever i travel in the future”

“My furbaby was comfortable with Keirstin. He spent a day with her before his 3 nights of boarding. He was quite excited to see her again to start his boarding for which I was pleased to see. While we were away, Keirstin sent us photos and updates and she was very responsive when I asked questions about his settling in her home. Thank you Keirstin.”

“Ekaterina and family did a lovely job hosting our senior dog Gil! He returned home happy and relaxed. She sent lots of photos and updates. Thank you so much.”

“Thankful we found Deanna to watch our dog when another sitter cancelled last minute. She made a stressful situation much easier and on top of accommodating us, she was also caring, friendly and so loving to our girl. We’ll definitely look to her first the next time we need a pet sitter.”

“Ziwei was wonderful! Spartan went right to her when I dropped him off. She took amazing care of him , keeping me up to date with pictures and texts. I wouldn’t hesitate bringing him back.”

“Emerald was absolutely wonderful! She was communicative, sent me so many cute photos and videos, flexible with drop-off and pick-up, and so easy to work with. She has a dog park in her building ,which is amazing, My dog Joy had the best time. Being a dog mom herself, you can tell she truly gets it, and I trusted her with Joy 100%. I highly recommend her to any pet parent. Thanks Emerald, Joy misses you already, I can tell!”

“We were so nervous to leave our mini schnauzer puppy, Ronie, for the weekend. However, Ka was amazing! She sent many pictures and videos of him hanging out and playing with other dogs. He seemed to have such a good time and he was in great care. Ka is great at what she does and we will definitely use her services in the future!”

“Lea is such a lovely dog sitter. She takes great care of Benji in the most sweet and gentle way. She keeps me up to date on his daily activities. She is a repeat sitter for Benji. Will definitely use her again. Thank you Lea”

“Patricia is great! The dogs just loved being with her and it’s so nice that she has a backyard for them to run around. She sent us pictures everyday and took great care of them ❤️”

She always goes above and beyond in her care, and I can feel comfortable and at peace leaving my cat with her, knowing that he will be well. I always know he will be in great hands with her. She is easy to work with, incredibly attentive, very communicative, responsible, and flexible (which relieves a lot of the stress of traveling, making plans, and having to leave a pet). Lina is a fantastic caregiver!”

“Kayla was great with my cats. I was away for almost two weeks and she sent me pictures every day. She went above and beyond to love on them and communicate with me. Highly recommend for all your fur babies”

“Tee is amazing! Always on time and on top of everything. Great communication… Keeps me informed throughout the visit. Thumbs up all around, would highly recommend!”

“Jenna was amazing with my very sick kitty. We had to leave for a few days right after he became ill. She went TWICE a day for him and was communicative the whole time. She was able to give him medicine and she even went above and beyond to clean up after his sickness which I did not want her to have to do. Such a peace of mind while we were gone to know he was well cared for.”

About: I raised two cats since year 2020. I know that every cat has a distinct purr-sonality. My priority is keeping your feline friend safe, happy, and strictly on schedule while you are away.
About: I was 13 when I got my first Pomeranian puppy. Having a Pomeranian helped teach me patience, calming down an anxious puppy, and understanding boundaries. I also have experience with more hyper breeds such as border collies. When I was 17 my brother bought home a border collie and I helped raise him a lot. I also had many lizards and hamsters. I love bonding with different animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Currently working part time. So I have plenty of time to myself. I am looking for something that makes me feel more connected with myself so I am giving rover a try :) I care for my pets by simply being gentle and trying to understand them. For example- my dog hates the broom when I am sweeping. Instead of yelling at her I put down the broom, picked her up and told her it’s okay. I set her down on my bed, gave her a biscuit, and picked up the broom. As I did this I spoke in a soft voice and told her she’s being good and that it’s okay.
“Andrew is great. I will admit i was slightly concerned at first because my sahara is a handful and barks alot. But Andrew assured me and he did deliver. He truly is professional and caring. I would recommend him to all. he keeps you up to date on everything and really cared for our animals. I will continue to use Andrew in the future as one of our dog sitters. He is absolutely excellent at his job. Thank you again Andrew appreciate your efforts”

About: I have taken care of my neighborhood dogs for the past few years. I have also been setting up occurring dog play dates around my neighborhood and dog walks. I am currently working remotely and am pretty flexible when it comes to walking dogs or stopping by for a drop-in visit. I am available Mondays to Thursdays and occasionally over the weekends as well. I regularly walk my dog Bandi; and create a safe and inclusive community by setting up dog play dates with the dogs in my neighborhood.
About: I have a long history of dog sitting and walking as well as cat sitting experience. I have been trusted to care for not only dogs of all sizes and breeds, but cats as well. I have had a few years of experience sitting and walking pets and have gained personal experience from not only having my own 3 fur babies, but also fostering and rehoming animals as well! I am a student at NYU so my schedule is a tad bit different but I am very flexible! Feel free to reach out for any time. I have no problem with any accommodations to make the owner and pet comfortable and will be more than happy to provide frequent updates and pictures!
“Thank you so much for taking care of our dear Simba. This is our first trip and first time he has been alone and you have been punctual, caring, and given detailed updates with many pictures. I will definitely be using your services in the future. Thank you!”

“We truly hit the pet-sitter jackpot. I hesitate to leave this review for fear that Tammy will become so beloved across Rover she will no longer have time for us! From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and clearly loved by animals, stop looking—you’ve found them. Just be warned: your pets may start expecting this level of service from you afterward. I still haven't mastered Tammy's double-Churu-dispensing skills, and the judgment from our girls is palpable.”

“Nermina is FAB!!!!! This is the second time we have booked Nermina to look after our kitties 🥰 She takes exceptional care of them both and they clearly love her lots (even Socks who is quite shy). She send frequent updates and is all round very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely book her again in the future and highly recommend her services”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for years, my own and previous experience at the vet. I know how to trim their nails and deep clean litter boxes. What triggers them, what makes them happy. I love cats so much!

“Noelle was fantastic, thank you again for taking care of my kitties while I was away! I can relax when I go away with someone checking in on them , and that is so valuable to me. I'll be rebooking with Noelle in the future! Thank you again!”

About: I have been around cats my entire life and genuinely love caring for them and understanding their different personalities. In addition to caring for my own cats over the years, I also help feed and care for stray cats in a local cemetery and have even taken in and rescued several cats myself. Because of that experience, I’m very patient and comfortable with all types of cats — from social and affectionate cats to shy, nervous, or independent ones. I understand that cats need trust, routine, and a calm approach, and I always let them warm up at their own pace.

About: Hello fellow animal lovers. I am a Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of experience for caring for hundreds of dogs, cats, birds and any kind of animal you can think of. My husband Andres is also a vet tech with over 15 years of experience and he helps me take care of any of the pets I watch. I used to mainly watch dogs in my home but since Covid we had a baby and she is allergic to dogs so I can't board in my home anymore which makes me very sad. Hopefully my daughter will grow out of her allergies eventually because we really do miss having dogs in our home and she loves dogs too. So now I can only do drop in visits at your home for any type of pet. I am currently not working and am a stay at home Mom but my daughter is in school now so I can do drop ins during school hours and then after my husband comes home from work in the evenings. We currently have 2 senior cats at home and I have had many of my own cats that I have loved and taken care of over the years. I have taken care of hundreds of cats as a Veterinary Technician over the years in all stages of life and many types of illnesses and diseases. I have worked with all types and many different breeds of cats as well. I have experience with cats with all different types of personalities and behavioral issues and try to take my time with any of them that are fearful and try to gain their trust and show them that I just want to show them love like you do. I was trained to practice fear free medicine as a vet tech. I have dedicated my life to caring for and helping all animals and I have loved every second of it. I have experience with every age, breed, species and medical problem. I have years of experience of caring for any illness, physical and behavioral problems and administering any medications or medical treatments necessary. I have had many dogs, cats and other small creatures of my own that i have loved and cared for over the years as well. I have a car and can travel to any part of Staten Island. Nothing makes me happier than spending time and playing with as many little fur babies as i can. You can set your mind at ease knowing that experienced, caring veterinary technicians are caring for your precious baby while you are away.
“Kelise did a wonderful job while we were away. She walked and fed my dog (7 year old pitbull) and fed my 17 year old cat. They were both in excellent shape when we got home. I paid for her to stay extra time to pet the animals, and I could tell from her emails and photos that she really loved them.”
“I boarded my 2 cats with Nervana for 8 days and she took great care of them! She was happy to give my boy his pill 2x daily and made sure to send me pic and video updates. Based on the videos I saw, the cats warmed up to her very well (even my girl who is usually terrified of 99% of people lol.) I would definitely recommend her to anyone else needing care for their pets in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was 10, I’m raised puppies by bottle feeding them since birth and cared for older dogs as well. I currently have plenty of free time so doing something I love as a job would be no issue, as long as the clients are satisfied and the fur babies are safe that’s all that matters. I have a backyard we can also go for walks , if needed I already have a crate that I can cozy up for the fur babies comfort. I also stick to instructions that the owner has left for me.

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I see and treat all pets as family members! 🐾💞 I will treat your animals with the love, care and respect they deserve. Currently, I am a proud mom of a chatty black cat named Binx 🐈⬛ and a very funny (and very opinionated) 2 year old husky named Aries who loves to sing 📣🐺 Both are very social, friendly, kind and well behaved. Both get along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Both are fixed, vaccinated and healthy. I have walk several dogs in my old building complex - most are friends with my dog who is a very happy husky mix. I am the friend / neighbor everyone calls when they need help with their pets! I’m trained in walking dogs on standard leashes, slip leads, harnesses, choke collar (although, not personally preferred), retractable leashes, “no pull” harnesses, muzzles, etc. Previously, I volunteered at an animal shelter for years where I was properly trained on walking different degrees of behaviorally ranked dogs. Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕🦺 My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. However, when I am working in my other profession (legal & tech), I work solely from home. So, I am always local. I live in an apartment in a very secure, dog-friendly building with a fenced yard outside. These are cameras everywhere. If I am boarding a dog, no matter the duration, I will make myself available to FaceTime at any time so that parents are reassured and at ease. I am within minutes of an animal hospital should anything arise. I have all the supplies needed to host and house a dog or a cat including, but not limited to: • Crates, if needed or preferred • Leashes and collars • Beds • Food in surplus • Feeding bowls • Toys • Interactive toys & games • Treats • Calming music • Rental Insurance
“Shannon was amazing! I’m from out of town and had to last minute stop through for a funeral. Having Shannon so quickly respond and send me frequent updates on my pup made a tough day so much less stressful. Lincoln came back happy and tired! Thank you, Shannon!”

“Chunwei provided the best sitting experience I’ve had so far. She always checks in and updated me throughout all of her stay. She took the time to walk with my puppy Freya and give her the exercise that she needed, she kept up with my feeding schedule and notified me if Freya’s eating habits had changed due to her teething. Overall I couldn’t ask for anything more from a sitter she was amazing!”

“Ka and her family were warm and welcoming! Baci (my puppy) immediately felt comfortable from the moment I left him and from the pics and videos Ka shared throughout the day he looked so happy and got plenty of exercise playing with his new puppy pal Frank. Overall exceptional experience!!”

“Our dog Wally had a great time with Malak! Malak was very thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely reach out again if we need daycare for Wally.”

“Jane was awesome and Bento loved his stay. Jane was a great communicator and sent lots of photo and video updates throughout the stay. I would highly recommend.”

“Robert is a great dog sitter and man. He cares very much for the well-being of the animals he watches, honors all request, and goes above and beyond. Whole heartedly trust him and recommend him to anyone needing a dog sitter”

“It was a pleasure having Ekaterina watch our 7 month old puppy, Coco for the day. She kept us fully informed with pictures and updates. Definitely recommend!”
“Limin was amazing with our dog Wally! She was very responsive and accommodated our schedule, and Wally seemed to have a very nice stay. We will definitely reach out to Limin again!”

“Jasmin was exceptional with my Puppy Galaxy. She kept me up to date throughout the day and made sure they got lots of activity throughout day. She gave me a lot of advice as a new dog dad and helped teach me how to cut my dog’s nails without agitating him or causing him to run. 10/10 would book again”

About: Growing up, I have always looked after dogs of close friends and family, and have studied nutrition and health, which led me to work at a pet hotel for about a year with almost every dog breed. My responsibilities included prepping food, cleaning, 1 on 1 play, and group play. I have been in charge of up to 20 dogs at 1 time. I also co-own a dog named Luna. The other owner and I had Luna since she was a puppy and she is now 5 years old. I teach obedience/behavior training to many dogs and I develop trust with dogs that is unique to my experience with various breeds. It takes patience and consistency to be a great leader for dogs and I wear my heart on my sleeve for every dog I'm caring for; communication with your dog is key. I currently work with dogs full time and make Dog care apart of my every day routine, if I'm not with my dog I'm working with other dogs. I have a good size open backyard and toys depending on the play style of your dog; crate training is much appreciated if they are familiar. Walks are frequent, especially for high energy dogs
About: Growing up with dogs, I learned early on that wagging tails and puppy cuddles are the best part of life! Waking up to make sure they get their walks in because we all need our steps!! And then walking them at the end of the day so they are sleepy at nighttime :) They are basically my children.
“Lea was great with my dog Cooper and took great care of him. He’s a basenji which can be a challenging breed at times but he was super comfortable with her and felt very much at home in her place. I look forward to using her for dog sitting services again!”

But what truly sets me apart isn’t just my background it’s how I show up for every dog I meet. I believe dogs need more than just food and potty breaks they thrive on connection, routine, and fun. Whether it’s going on engaging walks, getting in some solid playtime, working on basic training, or just lounging with belly rubs and calm companionship, I focus on giving each dog exactly what they need to feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. “Nermina is really great. I trust her to come in and take my dog out and I have complete peace of mind knowing it always gets done and he is in good hands. I he really enjoys his walks with her and there’s been no issues at all. I also like that she doesn’t rush it or short change it, and does the full 30 minutes. I highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats my entire life. At the moment I volunteer as a dog walker at the animal shelter. I currently have two cats. I live in a home with a separate bedroom reserved for your furry family member. Safety is my main priority. I have a lot of knowledge in what foods/plants/ etc. are harmful to animals. I work from home so I get lots of time to play and love on your pet with frequent walks. Overall, I am an animal lover, and I strive to make them feel safe and loved. I work from home part-time. I will be with your pet full-time every day with lots of time for love cuddles, play with frequent walks and potty trips. Your animal will not be with other animals and will have my full attention. Your pet will remain inside in their own bedroom. Of course for dogs we will be outside frequently for potty trips and walks around the neighborhood. I understand body language of animals and I take safety very seriously.

“Thankful we found Deanna to watch our dog when another sitter cancelled last minute. She made a stressful situation much easier and on top of accommodating us, she was also caring, friendly and so loving to our girl. We’ll definitely look to her first the next time we need a pet sitter.”

“Yiqi took amazing care of my dog during a holiday, making sure he got plenty of playtime and attention in addition to his more basic needs like regular eating and potty breaks. Absolutely recommend!”

“Patricia is great! The dogs just loved being with her and it’s so nice that she has a backyard for them to run around. She sent us pictures everyday and took great care of them ❤️”

“I had a really positive experience with Maria, even though Lucy ultimately wasn’t able to stay for the booking. Maria was sweet, professional, and very communicative throughout the entire process. She took the time to do a meet and greet with us beforehand, which went really well, and I appreciated how attentive and honest she was when Lucy became nervous after drop-off. Since this was Lucy’s first time being away from me, I completely understood and appreciated Maria putting everyone’s comfort and safety first. She kept me informed the entire time and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism. I would definitely recommend Maria to others and truly appreciate the care and communication she showed us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Meg was wonderful and took excellent care of our (sometimes grumpy!) dog, Bruno. She has extensive experience with animals of all temperaments, was consistently responsive to messages, and proactively sent daily updates. While we were away, we had abundant peace of mind that Bruno was doing well and in caring hands. Most tellingly, when Meg dropped him off, Bruno was more interested in sniffing her and her car rather than saying hi to us, which to us epitomizes how great of a time he had in Meg’s care. She was very accommodating, generally as well as with drop off / pick-up, understanding of Bruno’s odd tendencies, and happy to indulge his absolute obsession with fetch. We will certainly be reaching out again in the future when we next need someone to look after our pup.”

“My dachshund Aleph had a great time with Ayush and I suspect he didn’t want to come back home, so well was he taken care of! Ayush went above and beyond to make him feel at home and I was at ease during my vacation that he was in such great hands!”

“Shannon is the best dogsitter we ever have. I left my dog with her for 12 night. She updated me with pictures of him couple times a day. She was very responsive and I felt she really cared about him. My dig had the best vacation with her and at this point my search for perfect sitter is done. We are staying with Shannon forever:)”

“Megan took wonderful care of our puppy during our first trip apart. She was very responsive and sent us a daily update and picture of our puppy that we greatly appreciated. It was reassuring to know that my dog would never be home alone as she still sometimes struggles with that, and that she had a secure area to zoom around and release her energy!”

“Rachel was amazing, kind, and accommodating when I missed my flight and needed to alter the pickup time at the last minute. I loved the updates and seeing Gracie so happy while I'm away.”

“Diana is wonderful. We boarded our Wally with her for a week. He came home happy, clean and well fed. Diana sent pictures and videos and we could even have video calls to see Wally. We will definitely be using her again in the future 10/10”

“Gavriel is incredible! Kind, communicative, and caring. Efficiently sending regular updates. Provided a great, calm, safe and tranquil environment. My pup really enjoys her care, I can tell!”

“Cesar was super attentive and very communicative. Nala seemed to be enjoying her little vacation. I can't help but express gratitude to feel comfortable and confident in trusting Cesar after seeing how relaxed Nala was when she got home. It's been a long time since I've felt good about a sitter so I will definitely be using Cesar again!!”

“We are very lucky that found Ziming! She’s great with dogs, Wilson loved staying at her place and made friends with Oak and Penta ! He had a lot of fun playing in the backyard and chasing for other pups. Also, was surprised that there is a room for dogs which is nice! We got pictures and videos throughout the day!”
