Also, Freddie gets scared with thunder and fireworks, so she sometimes came back to him having made a mess of his puppy pads and she never complained but did anything she could to make sure his area was cleaned up and he was comfortable again. About: As a dog owner myself, I love long walks and hang outs with my 4 legged friends. At home I have 2 dogs of my own, Bruno a 3 year old LabPit mix, who is friendly, loving, and very active. He loves to play fetch and run but also cuddle on the sofa when resting at home. Lola is a 10 year old Maltese/Shih tzu mix who loves her naps and shorter walks. Our daily activities include long walks or runs around the neighborhood; twice a day and a short midday walk. Although Lola doesn’t always keep up with her brother, she enjoys accompanying us in our hikes and so she comes along in her backpack! At home we also I also have 2 parakeets who bring us lots of joy. Aside from my personal pets, I have also fostered 11 dogs through an organization here in Staten Island. I took in dogs ranging of ages from 3 puppies of 5 weeks to a 6 year old pup. Some with medical need such as taking prescribed medication, special diets or receiving medicated baths. Here your furry friend will have company from my two 4 legged friends, she/he will play and receive lots of physical activity, but if they are more couch potatoes, that works too! Their needs will be catered. They will be part of our pack until you are ready to return home! During weekdays, pets will receive morning, afternoon and night walks. During days when I am at work, they get their longer walks during the afternoon and nights since I work 8-3 outside of the home. In the afternoon I make sure to give them lots of attention and weather permitting, take them to the yard to play fetch or let them run around a bit. During weekends, they receive longer walks/ park visits earlier in the day. Morning walks turn into park visits or small hikes, then midday walks depending on when we get home and night walks. Although my yard is not fenced, I have long 30 ft leashes long give your dog opportunity to run as they pleased. At my home, they will have friends to play with, feel love and care for. I love communicating with fur parents on how their pets are doing and easing any worry they may have about leaving their pet behind.

About: I’ve raised my own dog since he was a puppy, so I know exactly what dogs need at every stage. From early morning walks to keeping them entertained and fed, it’s just part of my daily routine. I didn’t just own a dog I grew up with him. Your dog will get the same attention and care I give mine every single day. Dogs get a morning walk around 10–10:30am, then they’re free to relax in the living room or hang out in the fenced backyard. Once it cools down in the evening I take them out again around 6–7pm. During the day they have access to the backyard for potty breaks whenever they need it. Before bed there’s one last walk around 11–11:30pm so they’re settled for the night. I have a fenced backyard so dogs can roam and play safely without any worry. I own a friendly dog myself so your pup will have a buddy to hang out with. We’re in a house so there’s plenty of space to move around and get comfortable. Dogs are welcome on the furniture I want them to feel at home, not like they’re in a strange place.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my family, and have moved out and have adopted a cat on my own. I am familiar with what makes pets happy and how to take care of them. I’ve dog sat for close friends and family before and am confident I will be a great resource to count on. I’m working part time and do drive so I am comfortable commuting. It gives me more time to focus on dog and cat care! Safety and trust are prioritized when it comes to pets. Understanding what triggers pets can have and making sure that they are happy and well taken care of,

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a teenager. Whether it was going to a relatives house or taking local neighbors dogs on walks. I am very flexible and I am able to accommodate early and late drop offs. I am available during the week, weekends and many of the holidays. I sweep daily to keep small objects off the floor. I keep an eye on the dog at all times. If the dog is crate trained I follow the same schedule that you have.

I also worked at the Petsmart PetsHotel where I took care of and cleaned up after cats and dogs. I take care of my cat, grooming, playing, feed her, and I clean up after her. I also had a job with the dogs and cats in the Petsmart PetsHotel. Something you should also know is that I do have part time job and I am in school, so my schedule is always changing, but we can always work something out!
