About: Hi! I'm Janis—a college student on summer break, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.

“Kyle was so great with Darcy. He met up with us prior to her stay with him to get know her a bit and find out more about her and her routine. She took to him right away which made me happy to see that I’d be leaving her with a sitter that she really liked. He provided regular updates throughout her stay and was flexible on drop-off and pick-up. I really appreciate him taking such good care of her while I was away. Would highly recommend!”

Sara arranged a meet-and-greet beforehand, and from the moment we met her, all of our concerns were put to rest. She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was so reassuring to see how settled and happy Crumble was in her care. He had a fantastic day, and we wouldn't hesitate to leave him with Sara again. We couldn't recommend her more highly!”
