“Abigail was excellent with our dog. She was always on time and made sure Hazel got lots of exercise and attention when she visited. She listened to our needs and made sure to follow everything we asked of her and kept Hazel's routines as close as to what she was already used to. Our dog loved her and we will def be using Abigail again.”

“Sam is my go to sitter for all my pet needs. She goes above and beyond for all her clients. My pets love her and she will be a staple in my home until we move Ty Sam for all you do for my fur and scale babies!!”

“I’m so lucky to have found Elena!!! I could have not have hoped for a more responsible and loving person to care for my 2 girls. She truly allowed me to rest easy during my vacation. I got daily updates on my girls and she also sent me pictures. Elena’s care is above and beyond! Rest assure your pets are in good hands with her I highly recommend her service as you will not find anyone more trustworthy, professional, responsible, awesome and caring. Thank you so much Elena!!❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Nermina was once again fantastic with our two kitties. She cat sit for them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and was still (as always) on time, communicative, and loving! Our two cats are very fond of Nermina, even the kitten who is a bit more shy than our senior cat. Strongly recommend- we will definitely be booking her again!”

“Angel went above and beyond in her care for our pets. One of our Guinea Pigs was actually pregnant and gave birth while we were away- none of us expected or had experienced this before- and Angel herself works mostly with cats and dogs but she handled it like a pro! She took such great care of all of the babies and sent us pictures and videos every day as requested, which was so fun for my kids because they wanted to be there. She bought more veggies for them as needed and kept their cages very clean. I will definitely be using Angel again in the future and I highly recommend her!”

“Shes amazing! Very responsible, kind and patient. Huilin is the only person I trust to check on my little Eevee. Eevee is a nervous little bossy woman and Huilin is so gentle, understanding and patient with her. I’d give 100 stars if I could.”

“Andrew is great. I will admit i was slightly concerned at first because my sahara is a handful and barks alot. But Andrew assured me and he did deliver. He truly is professional and caring. I would recommend him to all. he keeps you up to date on everything and really cared for our animals. I will continue to use Andrew in the future as one of our dog sitters. He is absolutely excellent at his job. Thank you again Andrew appreciate your efforts”

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I see and treat all pets as family members! 🐾💞 I will treat your animals with the love, care and respect they deserve. Currently, I am a proud mom of a chatty black cat named Binx 🐈⬛ and a very funny (and very opinionated) 2 year old husky named Aries who loves to sing 📣🐺 Both are very social, friendly, kind and well behaved. Both get along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Both are fixed, vaccinated and healthy. I have walk several dogs in my old building complex - most are friends with my dog who is a very happy husky mix. I am the friend / neighbor everyone calls when they need help with their pets! I’m trained in walking dogs on standard leashes, slip leads, harnesses, choke collar (although, not personally preferred), retractable leashes, “no pull” harnesses, muzzles, etc. Previously, I volunteered at an animal shelter for years where I was properly trained on walking different degrees of behaviorally ranked dogs. Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕🦺 My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. However, when I am working in my other profession (legal & tech), I work solely from home. So, I am always local. I live in an apartment in a very secure, dog-friendly building with a fenced yard outside. These are cameras everywhere. If I am boarding a dog, no matter the duration, I will make myself available to FaceTime at any time so that parents are reassured and at ease. I am within minutes of an animal hospital should anything arise. I have all the supplies needed to host and house a dog or a cat including, but not limited to: • Crates, if needed or preferred • Leashes and collars • Beds • Food in surplus • Feeding bowls • Toys • Interactive toys & games • Treats • Calming music • Rental Insurance
“Amazing sitter! Vasiliki kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away! Our kitty was clearly well cared for and loved. Highly recommend!”

About: Favorite pastime: exploring with fur babies. I help friends with pet sitting, and I've also done pet/house sitting with Trusted Housesitters. I love exploring nature with animals, and can take them on long hikes. I can also play with them indoors for hours on end. I work freelance/remote, so my schedule adjusts to the pet's schedule. I have plenty of time to play with them, sit at home with them, or take them out for walks. Pets are always on a leash if out of the home. No phones on walks so I can be present with the animal. I can provide as much cuddles and validation as they need to ease their separation anxiety. I can also crate them if need be, this varies by pet and owner.
“Tara was amazing! She did a great job taking care of my cat Jax and I can tell by the photos he loved her visits. She fed him 2x a day and cleaned his litter, bowls and the surrounding areas. She even took in my mail/packages! Jax was well taken care of and I truly enjoyed receiving photos of him during Tara's drop-ins. I'm so happy I took the recommendation to use Rover and found someone so trustworthy and caring towards my boy!”

About: I began volunteering at an animal shelter in high school, which led to an internship and eventually a full-time position. That experience confirmed what I’ve always known — caring for animals isn’t just something I love, it’s something I’m committed to. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and safety when working with pets. As an animal caregiver, my priority is making sure every pet feels secure, well cared for, and loved while their owner is away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide dependable, attentive care you can trust.🩷 I’m currently working part-time with a very open schedule. Dog walking early mornings as well as babysitting. I am free majority of the time so as long as I am needed, I will be available! I live in a 3 family apartment. It’s a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have my dog bailey here who would love to make friends with you & your pet! If needed, I am able to crate your dog. The neighborhood is also very doggy friendly - there are many of them all over!
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have always shared my home with them. Dogs are family to me, and I welcome every dog I care for as one of my own, providing a safe, loving, and comfortable home while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog will always have people around. They’ll receive constant supervision, attention, and companionship while staying with us, thank you. While staying with us, your dog will have built-in friends in my Goldendoodle and miniature poodle, plus a backyard to explore, daily walks, and lots of supervised playtime.
“We booked Michelle for a drop in after a meet and greet while we were present to get our anxious dog familiar with her. She was wonderful with our pups and now our newest addition. She follows the instructions given and after one meet and greet she knew exactly what to do with our dogs. Our anxious pup was jumping on her for attention and love and was amazing around her! Thank you for being patient and letting our dogs get familiar with you before our long trip this summer Michelle! 🩷🩵🩷”

About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do it’s something I love. With over seven years of hands on experience, I’ve worked with pups of all ages, from energetic puppies who need structure and play, to senior dogs who deserve gentle care and patience. But what truly sets me apart isn’t just my background it’s how I show up for every dog I meet. I believe dogs need more than just food and potty breaks they thrive on connection, routine, and fun. Whether it’s going on engaging walks, getting in some solid playtime, working on basic training, or just lounging with belly rubs and calm companionship, I focus on giving each dog exactly what they need to feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I treat every dog like my own and I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet. That’s why I keep you updated, send pics, and make sure your pup is not only well cared for, but genuinely enjoying their time Believe your dog is in great hands. Pet care is a daily priority, including feeding, exercise, and affection, ensuring seamless integration into my routine, prioritizing furry companions' well-being, and with weekly tasks like grooming and vet visits ensuring their well-being. In my client's home, I tailor pet care to their specific needs, providing feeding, exercise, and companionship. Home care varies based on service type and client preferences.
“Kelise did a wonderful job while we were away. She walked and fed my dog (7 year old pitbull) and fed my 17 year old cat. They were both in excellent shape when we got home. I paid for her to stay extra time to pet the animals, and I could tell from her emails and photos that she really loved them.”

Neshie was amazing with my cat Audrey! I booked Neshie for 2 drop-in visits a day while I was on a week-long trip to Italy with my family. I was so nervous because this was my first time leaving Audrey for more than a long weekend, but Audrey warmed up to Neshie immediately! Neshie was super communicative and sent a lot of pictures. I felt like my cat was in excellent hands!

Andrew is amazing right from the meet and greet through taking care of my two dogs while I was away. The dogs loved him! He was prompt and very reliable. Sent me pictures of the dogs on every visit he made to them. While talking about the dogs to him he gave me so tips about my concerns. He's trustworthy and reliable.
For the last 3 years, I have had the pleasure of having Megan watch over Emma! Through health and now medical diagnoses and medicine regiments, Megan has consistently shown me that she cares for Emma as if Emma was hers. Leaving gifts behind and taking care of both Emma’s mental and physical health, I always feel comforted knowing that Emma is in good hands when I am away.
