“Shes amazing! Very responsible, kind and patient. Huilin is the only person I trust to check on my little Eevee. Eevee is a nervous little bossy woman and Huilin is so gentle, understanding and patient with her. I’d give 100 stars if I could.”

About: Ever since I was a little girl, animals have honestly always been apart of my life and I always see it as a blessing. So from time to time when I can, I do rescue some strays that I find and give them loving homes. I also have a dog of my own named Gizmo who I love dearly. Whenever I get an opportunity to dog/cat sit neighbors or family's pet, I will always treat them as my own. I also volunteer at shelters, or dog shops to help walk them and feed them, make them feel love and comfort. The number one thing that I prioritize is animals safety and my full attention towards them. I do love to play with them, pet them to sleep, and sometimes sing to them to calm them down at times when feeling anxious. Dog/cat sitting is something I love and will always love.

“Great job very caring personality sent pictures daily which made me so happy this is my first experience on rover will gladly use this service again thank you so much Samantha I appreciate everything you have done”
“Angel has been caring for my pets for over a year. She goes above and beyond in the care she gives them, and I know they are in safe hands with her. I love the pictures she sends every day!”

“Nermina was super kind and thoughtful when taking care of our cat. She was the first person to make a real connection with him! We also really appreciated that she stayed for the full 30 minute visit - something others don’t typically do. Would definitely book again if our schedules line up in the future.”

Pet care is a daily priority, including feeding, exercise, and affection, ensuring seamless integration into my routine, prioritizing furry companions' well-being, and with weekly tasks like grooming and vet visits ensuring their well-being. “Abigail was excellent with our dog. She was always on time and made sure Hazel got lots of exercise and attention when she visited. She listened to our needs and made sure to follow everything we asked of her and kept Hazel's routines as close as to what she was already used to. Our dog loved her and we will def be using Abigail again.”

About: I have watched a few pups over the past year, and have loved it so much. I’ve always wanted one of my own, but unfortunately I’m moving to an apartment that is not pet friendly in July, so I’ll love yours as if it’s my own!! My experience also includes anxious pups and allowing them to warm up to me. I work at a college, so I’m off for the summer with plenty of free time! I’m happy to adjust my lifestyle and schedule to your pups when they are in my care! My neighborhood is very pet friendly. At night I can crate or let your pup sleep in their bed or with me. Genuine Passion for Animals: My dedication goes beyond just a job—I see pet care as a way to build a bond and make a positive impact on their lives. Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, requires attentiveness, consistency, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each animal. Here’s a breakdown of how I approach pet care in both settings: Caring for Pets in My Home: 1. Establishing a Routine: • I create a daily schedule for feeding, exercise, playtime, grooming, and rest, ensuring stability and comfort for my pets. • Meal times are consistent, and fresh water is always available. 2. Creating a Safe and Enriching Environment: • I ensure my home is pet-proofed, with no access to harmful plants, toxic substances, or dangerous objects. • I provide toys, scratching posts, and cozy sleeping areas tailored to their preferences. 3. Health and Hygiene: • I maintain clean litter boxes or outdoor areas for bathroom needs. • Regular grooming, nail trimming, and dental care are part of the routine. • I stay vigilant for signs of illness and keep up with vaccinations, vet checkups, and preventative care. 4. Bonding and Training: • I dedicate time daily for play, affection, and positive reinforcement training to build trust and strengthen our bond. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, as I prioritize the well-being, happiness, and health of the animals I care for. Here’s how it fits into my schedule: in the morning i start off by Feeding: I start the day by preparing fresh meals according to the pet’s specific dietary needs. Hydration: I ensure water bowls or fountains are clean and filled with fresh water. Bathroom Needs: For cats, I scoop litter boxes daily, and for dogs, I schedule morning walks to give them a chance to stretch and relieve themselves. During midday i help them Exercise: I schedule play sessions or walks to keep pets physically active and mentally stimulated. Engagement: This could include interactive toys, training sessions, or just quality time spent bonding with the pet. Cleaning: I tidy up their spaces, such as washing food bowls, refreshing bedding, or cleaning up any messes. In the evening it is Dinner Time: Another feeding session, ensuring pets stick to their routine. Grooming: For long-haired pets or those that shed a lot, I brush their fur. Nail trimming or light cleaning (like wiping paws) happens as needed. And finally Wind-Down: I end the day with calm activities, like cuddling or relaxing together, ensuring they feel secure before bedtime.
About: Hi! I'm Janis—a current college student on a gap semester, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on a gap semester, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I’m primarily based in Brooklyn, where I live in a house with a fenced front yard and provide most of my pet care services. I also occasionally stay at a second home in Pasadena, Maryland with a large fenced backyard and offer care locally there when I’m in the area. I do not transport pets between locations– services are always provided in one consistent environment to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety. During walks, I take a cautious approach by starting in quieter areas with minimal traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.
“Elena watched my 15 week old puppy, Saylor, while I was home for a family emergency on Staten Island. She visited Saylor for several walks throughout two days. Elena was extremely trustworthy, always on time (if not early) and entirely engaged with Saylor for the full visit! I highly recommend Elena for any pet help you may need!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. When I was young, we raised Dalmatians and I have had over twenty of them in my life. I have plenty of experience with puppies as well as older dogs. I used to dog sit on weekends for neighbors so I know how to get unfamiliar dogs used to me. I will take the upmost care of your dogs because I care about them as much as you do. I will always make sure they receive all the care and attention they deserve. If your dog needs lots of excerise, I'm able to take him or her for runs around the neighborhood and to a nearby park. I'm comfortable with all sorts and sizes of dogs and I can't wait to meet yours.

“Day 1 leaving our puppy home by herself was such an easy good day because of Durell. 🥰 She’s timely,‘communicative, loving, and very helpful/does anything I suggest or ask of her. Will keep using Durell & Michael again and again for our pup, Scoobie… She loves Durell, as well!”

About: I grew up with dogs of all kinds (German shepard, Pekinese, chihuahuas, Pomeranians, golden retrievers) and have always looked after family and friends dogs while away since elementary school! I have two dogs of my own! I am currently working part time as a medical assistant in outpatient psychiatry. On my days off, I love hanging out with my dogs, teaching them new tricks, long walks along the shore, going to parks and going on runs together! I have a private home with two friendly malteses who are always looking for new friends! I’m also a nursing student and love to do my research on pet nutrition (macros/micros) and am always looking for healthy alternatives for my pets and I!
“Tara did a great job again watching my kitties while we were away. I really appreciate that she always sends update photos and spends the time to play. She even cleaned up some unexpected messes (naughty kitty unrolled a LOT of toilet paper) which was much appreciated!”

We had such a great experience with Ismail watching our dog, Koda! From the start, he was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making Koda feel comfortable and happy. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in such good hands. Koda absolutely loved him, which says everything. He can be picky, but he warmed up to Ismail right away. We came home to a happy, well cared for pup, and that means the world to us. We’re so grateful to have found someone we truly trust and will definitely be booking with Ismail again. Highly recommend!

Abigail was excellent with our dog. She was always on time and made sure Hazel got lots of exercise and attention when she visited. She listened to our needs and made sure to follow everything we asked of her and kept Hazel's routines as close as to what she was already used to. Our dog loved her and we will def be using Abigail again.

Jennifer, what an amazing human, so professional and loving towards my cats. She genuinely cared so much for the boys. She kept me updated while I was away, which gave me total peace of mind. Came back to happy, well fed and well entertained cats after 2 weeks of being away. Thank you!

Celine was absolutely great with our cat George during drop in visits while we were away. Our cat is low maintenance, so our main priority was to keep George company and that’s exactly what Celine did (next to feeding her and taking care of her of course)! George clearly loved Celine and it was evident Celine loved her back and returned the affection. She sent us multiple photos every day and often included one or more videos, many of which consisted of George purring. We will certainly book again if Celine is available.
