About: Hi! I'm Janis—a college student on summer break, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.

About: I’ve owned my pug, Pinky, for 14 years and have grown up with her. During this time, I’ve gradually grown attentive to her needs and different emotions depending on her body language. We adopted Fendi 4 years ago, and I’ve learned to multitask with their age difference and introduce unfamiliar dogs in a safe manner. I’m currently staying home from college and am looking to spend my free time doing something I love. I have two dogs at home that I currently take care of, and would love to be able to provide a safe and comforting environment for other dogs as well. I have two friendly dogs and a fenced yard with plenty of space for them to play. I also have a crate and extra dog supplies if needed.

“Angel went above and beyond in her care for our pets. One of our Guinea Pigs was actually pregnant and gave birth while we were away- none of us expected or had experienced this before- and Angel herself works mostly with cats and dogs but she handled it like a pro! She took such great care of all of the babies and sent us pictures and videos every day as requested, which was so fun for my kids because they wanted to be there. She bought more veggies for them as needed and kept their cages very clean. I will definitely be using Angel again in the future and I highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of my neighborhood dogs for the past few years. I have also been setting up occurring dog play dates around my neighborhood and dog walks. I am currently working remotely and am pretty flexible when it comes to walking dogs or stopping by for a drop-in visit. I am available Mondays to Thursdays and occasionally over the weekends as well. About: Favorite pastime: exploring with fur babies. I help friends with pet sitting, and I've also done pet/house sitting with Trusted Housesitters. I love exploring nature with animals, and can take them on long hikes. I can also play with them indoors for hours on end. I work freelance/remote, so my schedule adjusts to the pet's schedule. I have plenty of time to play with them, sit at home with them, or take them out for walks. Pets are always on a leash if out of the home. No phones on walks so I can be present with the animal. I can provide as much cuddles and validation as they need to ease their separation anxiety. I can also crate them if need be, this varies by pet and owner.
