About: I have three years of experience dog sitting and walking, along with personal experience caring for both cats and dogs of my own. I have also successfully trained my youngest cat to do tricks such as sit, stand, and “say hi.” Through my pet care experience, I’ve worked with animals of different ages, sizes, and needs, including senior dogs who required extra patience, careful feeding routines, and slower-paced walks. I am also comfortable handling larger dogs, as well as dogs who may need extra support on walks due to special needs, mobility challenges, anxiety, or age-related limitations. I always make sure to adjust my care to each pet’s comfort level, personality, and routine so they feel safe, supported, and well cared for. I am available Monday through Friday! Specifically, Wednesdays I am available from 7am to 12pm and Friday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Every other day my availability is 7am through 6pm. Feel free to reach out if you need a sitter or walker in a pinch and I will always try my best to fit you in. 30-Minute Dog Sitting Drop-In: I stop by to make sure your dog is happy, comfortable, and cared for with fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of affection. Here, is when I’d administer any oral medication (or extra aid based on requests) for your dogs. Every visit is tailored to each dog’s routine and personality making it an experience they won’t forget! 30-Minute Dog Walk: During our walk, I make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, sniffing time, and positive engagement while following their preferred pace and routine. I also provide fresh water if needed, reinforce good leash manners, and ensure they return home happy, safe, and content. 30-Minute Cat Sitting Drop-In: I provide your cat with fresh food and water, a tidy litter area, and the right mix of play, treats, or quiet companionship. From social butterflies to independent observers, I tailor each visit to their unique style and can administer oral medications or inhalers when needed.

About: I am starting my Rover journey and have experience raising my 5-year-old dog since he was a puppy. I am also comfortable handling other cats and dogs as I work with them frequently as a vet assistant. I am mainly open to drop-in visits and dog walking. I'm currently working Monday to Friday full time from 8:30-4pm and on Saturdays from 10-5pm. I am free to do drop-ins and walk your pets any day after my workday ends and anytime on Sundays. I love all pets so you can trust me to be patient and caring of your furry babies! I will play with your pets and give them all the love and praise that they deserve.
“excellent service took very well care of my dog while i was away on vacation over the weekend checked on her on schedule and walked her and fed her every visit couldn't have asked for better care thank u”

“Jenna went above and beyond in absolutely every way with my cat over the weekend. My previous sitter cancelled on me the first night I booked, so Jenna was able to come by the next morning and make sure that my boy was well fed, taken care of, and comfortable before she left. She saved the day, made my weekend away from home stress-free, and updated me with pictures and notes every step of the way.”

About: After working at PetSmart's PetsHotel and Grooming Salon, I’ve completed several courses focusing on behavior, stress cues, and the unique needs inherent to different dog breeds. I treat all pets like they’re my own and always make sure they feel safe and happy. Message me for availability and I’ll let you know what I have available for that week or the week following because I’m currently working and in school my availability varies Your pets are safe and sound every moment they’re with me but I’m happy to do regular texts throughout our session if you need any updates on their well being
“Abigail was excellent with our dog. She was always on time and made sure Hazel got lots of exercise and attention when she visited. She listened to our needs and made sure to follow everything we asked of her and kept Hazel's routines as close as to what she was already used to. Our dog loved her and we will def be using Abigail again.”

“Kayla was wonderful! She was very attentive, communicated clearly throughout, and truly went above and beyond. I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in such great hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I have taken care of my neighborhood dogs for the past few years. I have also been setting up occurring dog play dates around my neighborhood and dog walks. I am currently working remotely and am pretty flexible when it comes to walking dogs or stopping by for a drop-in visit. I am available Mondays to Thursdays and occasionally over the weekends as well. I regularly walk my dog Bandi; and create a safe and inclusive community by setting up dog play dates with the dogs in my neighborhood.
“Excellent experience with Lin. She went above and beyond to make sure our cats had everything they needed. Communicating with every visit with pictures and details, letting us know the exact situation, was very helpful to keep us reassured everything was fine.”

“Alexis was wonderful with my dog and cat. She met them a week before. My dog instantly got along with her. Alexis has a very kind and caring aura to her that my pets picked up on and were comfortable with her right away. My husband and I will be reaching out to her for any future trips.”

“We are a repeat customers of Oleg. This time he took care of my dog while we were away for the entire week. He took such great care of her! He walked her and petted her and made sure she was eating. I could not be happier with how he treated my dog, it is as if she was his own pet. He loves animals and it shows. And special thank you for saving a baby turtle that fell into our pool.”

“We truly hit the pet-sitter jackpot. I hesitate to leave this review for fear that Tammy will become so beloved across Rover she will no longer have time for us! From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and clearly loved by animals, stop looking—you’ve found them. Just be warned: your pets may start expecting this level of service from you afterward. I still haven't mastered Tammy's double-Churu-dispensing skills, and the judgment from our girls is palpable.”

“Noelle was amazing with my kitten. anything i asked of her she gladly did with no questions asked. she gave me and my husband such a peace of mind while we were away!! she's kind, friendly and the love that she has for animals shows from the second you meet her. i truly recommend her for your pets! couldn't have asked for anyone better to come into our home and take care of our kitten.”

About: I've been caring for pets professionally for over 10 years. I'm not just a caregiver; I'm a devoted pet parent myself. My own fur babies are like my children, and I treat every pet I care for with the same love, attention, and respect. I work full time but with a very flexible schedule. I work from home & occasionally go into the city. I’m comfortable with all age groups Whether it's daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping your pet company while you're away, I bring patience, experience, and genuine affection to every visit. I understand how important it is to feel your pet is in good hands--and that's exactly what I strive to provide.
About: *DOGS MUST BE GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS AND CATS* (I have THREE CATS and A DOG!!) My times for daycare are 8 am - 6 pm ONLY! (Mon-Fri) if outside this range, I will discuss additional payment. I have had dogs since I was a child. I’ve always had a love and care for any animal no matter the breed or size. During college, I worked at a vet as a daycare kennel assistant where I gained knowledge on the care of dogs. I know how to walk dogs, bathe them, cut their nails, etc. I work from home so I’m able to look over your fur baby! My boyfriend helps me from time to time and will help me look after any animal I have. I do go to the gym every so often so your dog needs to be able to be by themselves at least 1 hour, either crate trained or is able to be out without scratching or destroying anything. I have a fenced yard and live in a dog friendly neighborhood. I have a border collie mix and 3 cats in my house who are used to being around other dogs and mostly keep to themselves! If needed, my cats are able to be separated from your fur baby but I prefer friendly dogs!
About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every pet. I truly treat animals like family, and I know how important it is for pet parents to feel comfortable and updated while they’re away. I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and relaxed in their normal routine. I’m dependable, communicative, and pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs — whether that means extra playtime for energetic dogs, patience with shy or anxious pets, or a slower pace and gentle care for senior dogs. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine and something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I’m used to planning my days around feeding schedules, walks, check-ins, and giving pets the attention and consistency they need. I care for animals every day, including feeding and looking after stray cats in my area, so caring for pets feels very natural to me and is something I’m committed to year-round. I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, and giving pets companionship, exercise, and comfort while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and sleep schedules closely so pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship — not just the basics. I also keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they always know how their pet is doing. For dogs, I focus on safe walks, play, bathroom breaks, and making sure they get enough activity and affection based on their energy level and personality. For cats, I understand the importance of patience and routine, especially with shy or anxious cats, and I make sure litter boxes, feeding areas, and water stay clean and fresh. I’m attentive to pets’ behavior and comfort and will always let owners know right away if something seems unusual. My goal is for pets to feel safe, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. 🐾

Andrew is great. I will admit i was slightly concerned at first because my sahara is a handful and barks alot. But Andrew assured me and he did deliver. He truly is professional and caring. I would recommend him to all. he keeps you up to date on everything and really cared for our animals. I will continue to use Andrew in the future as one of our dog sitters. He is absolutely excellent at his job. Thank you again Andrew appreciate your efforts

Lin was amazing with Simba and Sydney! She took such great care of them, played with them, and treated them like her own. She even brought over a can of wet food for them to try, which was so thoughtful. I really appreciated all the updates and the love she gave them. She also brought a letter from her cat, Wednesday, and my cats loved it! I came home to two very happy cats. Thank you so much, Lin! I’ll definitely book with you again.

Kayla was wonderful! She was very attentive, communicated clearly throughout, and truly went above and beyond. I felt completely at ease knowing my pets were in such great hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

As always Noelle and Victor went above and beyond for our pups. Sundae is very timid and warmed up to them right away, that’s how you know they’re great. And Chili was super excited to see them which is no surprise, they’re besties lol. Thank you guys so much!!

This is the second time Taylor has taken care of my 5 cats. She was great with them and they can sometimes be handful. One is on a special diet and others need to be monitored as they eat. She followed all instructions and sent great pictures. I would definitely trust her with my furbabies again.
Stacy was absolutely wonderful! She truly cared for my cats and spent quality time with them. Both of my cats warmed up to her quickly, which says a lot about her gentle and personable approach. She went above and beyond in making sure they were comfortable and happy. I could not recommend her more. highly recommend Stacy to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care!

Sandra was simply amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our cat was well cared for while we were away. Not only was our kitty fed on time, but Sandra also made sure she got plenty of playtime and attention, keeping her routine just as if we were home. We felt completely at ease knowing our fur baby was in such loving hands. We’ll definitely book Sandra again for our next trip!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
