“Jacqueline is the get away Hotel for my cat. He spent five nights being pampered, given time in the fresh air, and the center of attention with her entire family over the weekend. He sleeps out in the open which shows he is comfortable and lets the family play with him and rub his belly which he rarely allows. Jacqueline shares numerous videos pictures and text updates. My guy is actually adjusting coming back home; I’m not sure he was ready to leave his vacation! It’s just he and I so now I feel bad he left all of his friends at Jacqueline’s house! She and her family are truly wonderful people and take very good care of my cat. Thank you, so much, for taking care of my little turkey!”

“I had such a great experience with Ming, her husband, and two lovely dogs. As the first time working with Ming, I wondered if my dog would work well with them or they would be happy with my dog, Oliver. After more than 10 days of boarding Oliver with Ming, I realized that I sent Oliver to a sort of luxurious doggy retreat. Oliver came back more energetic and cuddly showing signs that he was truly loved by Ming and her family members. Ming has a lovely backyard as well as a private bedroom for a dog, and a small doggy tent where your dog can rest. For a second, I thought Oliver might want to stay longer with them!! About: I am a former animal care specialist at Pet N’ Play Luxury Resort, when I was living in upstate NY. Currently living in Staten Island Richmond County, and at the resort I supported cats and dogs for overnight stay at our daycare, as well as the veterinary hospital next door (Middlehope Hospital)! I worked with animals for playtime, feeding, laundry, cleanup, walks, and maintained their health and wellness report cards everyday. “We truly hit the pet-sitter jackpot. I hesitate to leave this review for fear that Tammy will become so beloved across Rover she will no longer have time for us! From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and clearly loved by animals, stop looking—you’ve found them. Just be warned: your pets may start expecting this level of service from you afterward. I still haven't mastered Tammy's double-Churu-dispensing skills, and the judgment from our girls is palpable.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was 10, I’m raised puppies by bottle feeding them since birth and cared for older dogs as well. I currently have plenty of free time so doing something I love as a job would be no issue, as long as the clients are satisfied and the fur babies are safe that’s all that matters. About: As a lifelong pet owner, I see and treat all pets as family members! 🐾💞 I will treat your animals with the love, care and respect they deserve. Currently, I am a proud mom of a chatty black cat named Binx 🐈⬛ and a very funny (and very opinionated) 2 year old husky named Aries who loves to sing 📣🐺 Both are very social, friendly, kind and well behaved. Both get along with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Both are fixed, vaccinated and healthy. I have walk several dogs in my old building complex - most are friends with my dog who is a very happy husky mix. I am the friend / neighbor everyone calls when they need help with their pets! I’m trained in walking dogs on standard leashes, slip leads, harnesses, choke collar (although, not personally preferred), retractable leashes, “no pull” harnesses, muzzles, etc. Previously, I volunteered at an animal shelter for years where I was properly trained on walking different degrees of behaviorally ranked dogs. Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕🦺 My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. However, when I am working in my other profession (legal & tech), I work solely from home. So, I am always local. I live in an apartment in a very secure, dog-friendly building with a fenced yard outside. These are cameras everywhere. If I am boarding a dog, no matter the duration, I will make myself available to FaceTime at any time so that parents are reassured and at ease. “I had such a great experience with Ming, her husband, and two lovely dogs. As the first time working with Ming, I wondered if my dog would work well with them or they would be happy with my dog, Oliver. After more than 10 days of boarding Oliver with Ming, I realized that I sent Oliver to a sort of luxurious doggy retreat. Oliver came back more energetic and cuddly showing signs that he was truly loved by Ming and her family members. Ming has a lovely backyard as well as a private bedroom for a dog, and a small doggy tent where your dog can rest. For a second, I thought Oliver might want to stay longer with them!! I would highly recommend Ming to anyone who would need to board a dog!!”

She sent me daily updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious very quickly that my dog absolutely loved her — and dogs are usually pretty good judges of character! Isabelle clearly knows dogs, understands their behavior, and knows exactly how to handle and care for them.
