My husband Andres is also a vet tech with over 15 years of experience and he helps me take care of any of the pets I watch. I used to mainly watch dogs in my home but since Covid we had a baby and she is allergic to dogs so I can't board in my home anymore which makes me very sad. From the moment we met Tammy, it was clear our cats were possibly in better hands than our own (honestly, they seemed a little disappointed when we came back). Updates were consistent, thoughtful, and often included photos that looked like they belonged in a pet lifestyle magazine—somehow capturing both chaos and cuteness in equal measure. Our home was cared for, our girls were happy, and we’re fairly certain they learned better manners while we were gone which raises some questions about our own management style. What really stood out was the genuine care and attention—this wasn’t just “checking in,” it was full-on VIP treatment. Visits weren’t rushed, playtime wasn’t optional, and every detail was handled like it mattered (because it does). I teach obedience/behavior training to many dogs and I develop trust with dogs that is unique to my experience with various breeds. It takes patience and consistency to be a great leader for dogs and I wear my heart on my sleeve for every dog I'm caring for; communication with your dog is key. I currently work with dogs full time and make Dog care apart of my every day routine, if I'm not with my dog I'm working with other dogs. I have a good size open backyard and toys depending on the play style of your dog; crate training is much appreciated if they are familiar. Walks are frequent, especially for high energy dogs
