“Jen was absolutely AMAZING with our Jimmy! He gets separation anxiety when we are gone & she was like the dog whisperer with him! He had so much with her & her dogs & we didn't worry at all about him cuz we knew he was in good hands! We will definitely be back!!”

“Drew was awesome. Communicated thoroughly and took time to send pictures of my dog. He was flexible with both drop off and pick up, which was a huge lifesaver due to change in travel plans (out of my control). I am super grateful- my dog came home clean, happy and healthy. Highly recommend!”

“A wonderful family with a beautiful home! Truly cared for our dogs to have their space outside, comfort all around with the people in the family, comfort for sleeping, attentive to their nutrition needs, and updated us with pictures and videos with we love to see!!! Our Spock and Cosmo will definitely be coming here again 🥰. It was so nice knowing they were in great hands.”

“Jasmine was such an excellent sitter! It was clear she really cared for my puppy and treated her as if she were her own puppy. She was very attentive and replied quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Highly recommended!”

“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was very quick to respond to our initial request for care and went the extra mile by requesting to meet Moka prior to actually caring for her to make sure they were going to get along okay. She was very flexible on her drop-off and pick-up times and made sure to keep us informed with pictures and messages during Moka's stay.”

“Michelle was fantastic with Juniper. Juniper is a super nervous dog and Michelle was very patient with her. Gave me plenty of updates knowing how nervous I was. Will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Kristen was very responsive to our communications. Our dog looked very well when we picked her up after she had been feeling ill before she was dropped off with Kristen. We will definitely use her services in the future if needed.”
“Erin, Brandon, and kids took such good care of Poppy. They kept in close communication, and even sent pictures! Poppy was well loved and cared for while with them and came home a happy dog! Thank you!”

“David was great to work with and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup in his hands. He consistently communicated with us providing updates which gave us peace of mind that Bo was in good company & care.”

“This was Shambi’s third boarding with Linda and first longer one than a few days. Shambi did great and I really appreciated Linda’s updates every day, plus video of Shambi running circles around Bosley. 😂 Linda is a great boarder and wonderful to work with, always responsive and caring. I also appreciated Linda’s willingness and flexibility to keep Shambi longer when my flight was cancelled. You can feel at ease when your pets are in her care!”

About: What really sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and life stages. I truly understand that every dog has a unique personality and set of needs. Having cared for my own Chocolate Lab for 14 years, I have deep experience with senior care, including managing mobility issues, specialized diets, and the extra patience required for older dogs. My background also includes growing up with two American Bulldogs and a Dachshund, so I am very comfortable handling different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m also currently the go-to sitter for my brother’s Mini Aussie, which keeps me well-practiced in puppy training—I love helping with reinforcement, consistent routines, and burning off that extra puppy energy. My priority is always to provide a safe, loving environment that keeps your pet happy and on their usual routine. I treat every dog I sit as if they were my own family member. My routine is very flexible, which is great for pets! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, so I’m available throughout the day for exercise and companionship. I am also home all weekend, so I’m available for full-day care, walks, or overnight sitting. I prioritize keeping your pet on their normal schedule so they feel right at home with me. I prioritize a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment. I have a private, small yard that is perfect for quick potty breaks and secure outdoor time. For exercise and enrichment, we are conveniently located right near a local walking trail, which is a great spot for longer, leashed walks where they can get some fresh air and sniffing time. Indoors, they are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable, and I’m happy to stick to any crate training or house rules you already have in place.

“I was very very pleased with Rebecca! I was very nervous leaving my dog for many days but Rebecca quickley showed me he was in good hands! Keeping me updated daily on how he was doing ! I will definitely use her again and I will refer her to as many people I can!!”

Piper was spoiled during the day with walks and lots of love. We were updated with pictures and videos during the day. Matt and Angela made my small nervous dogs feel so welcome, much better than the boarding experience last time I left home. Matt let them roam just like at home, cleaned up a puppy mess, and gave me awesome updates! I was also new to the Rover process and thought I had booked him last month but hadn’t, and he was flexible and understanding.

We left our puppy with Maya for almost a week and it went amazing. We were nervous to leave him but she gave us daily updates and photos to keep our minds at ease, it was wonderful. Everything seemed to go great, she was very responsive and our puppy had a great time!

Denielle was great to work with when coordinating Kona's stay. She was very responsive and organized. After meeting her and seeing the large fenced in backyard I knew Kona was in good hands. Highly recommend Denielle for boarding. Kona had fun playing with her two dogs.

The first overnight with this host family was a success; our two dogs were happy and comfortable in their surroundings, as evidenced by the frequent photos depicting walks and other activities, as well as their behavior when we arrived to pick them up. It’s such a a relief being able to schedule occasional time away and knowing our pups will be well cared for. Again, thank you very much!
Ashlee was so great with our two energetic dogs!! She kept us updated and did try different solutions to make sure our picky eater would eat her food! Loved the picture and videos she would send over as well. Most definitely would recommend Ashlee for future overnight stays :)

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
