Senior Dog Care
I have been petsitting with my 15 year old lhasa apso since 2012. He passed away suddenly in June 2024, so I no longer have a dog of my own, but may occasionally have a small foster dog. I will accept senior or calm, easy going small/medium dogs. I do work during the week but my dad is around to supervise while I am at work and make sure they get a potty break or two. They get walks morning and evening with me as well. For drop in visits, I am only available for once a day drop ins, so I usually only accept cats and can only do evening visits during the work week.

Andrea is communicative and reliable. Ive had her take care of my cat for 2 separate trips and hope that she is available for the next one too!
Andrea did an excellent job taking care of my cat while I was away on a business trip. She sent updates every day, including photos. When I came home I could tell my cat was very happy and had all of her needs met-she's a shy baby so she must have felt really safe with Andrea to have come out of her usual hiding spots for pets. Definitely recommend Andrea!
Always a pleasure having Andrea take such good care of my super senior kitty! I feel more relaxed knowing he is taken care of by her while I’m gone. I already rebooked her for my next trip out of town. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work full time but have my dad home to give potty breaks and company while I work. Weekends are more flexible and we try to get outside and enjoy nature, weather permitting.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are only crated for a couple hours when no one is home. I like them to feel at home and have space, multiple dog beds to choose from or the couch. I will leave their crate with the door propped open if they choose to go in their crate for any reason.
A typical day
Walks morning and evening weekdays, more often on weekends weather permitting. Potty breaks as needed. My dad can take them out in my unfenced yard on a leash while I work, and give them company and supervision/snuggles as well.
