“Angela took amazing care of our cats. They were much calmer when we arrived home, much better than they have been in the past. She was great at communicating and keeping us updated. We will use her the next time we go out of town.”

“Andrea was awesome! We had a short meeting where we got to introduce our cat and tell her everything we needed service-wise. I knew she showed up each day from the adorable pictures she sent and the kind messages with them. I was able to have a worry-free vacation knowing my cat was in good hands!”

“Andrea is always quick to respond, on time, gives picture updates and messages regularly. Andrea is our go-to care provider for our dog, and we couldn’t be happier with her attentiveness and kindness.”

“Mia is a very responsible sitter! My cat is a shy boy when seeing strangers, but he was willing to play with Mia! Definitely will have another booking with Mia in the future.”

About: Hello! My name is Griffin and I'm 20 years old. I have owned dogs my entire life and I have two living with me along side a cat! I currently work at The Family Fido just outside of Stewartville. During my time there, I have worked with many different breeds and sizes of dogs while supervising group play! Not all of the dogs that stay with us are dog friendly so I have worked with solo dogs too! The Family Fido is a boarding/daycare/rescue facility so as part of my job I take care of feeding and medications. Since I started, we have had 5 litters of puppies that I have helped to raise before they have been adopted out to families. I have learned a lot of training skills and I will be attending dog conferences in the future to build my experience even more! Working at a boarding and rescue facility I work with dogs daily and for hours at a time. I own two dogs as well that I work with around the house daily! I am able to do walks, feeding, bathing, nail trims, play, and continue any training that your dog may currently be working on! I am also open to working with anxious or less confident dogs as well as handling more than one dog at a time!
“Lindsey was amazing with our two dogs when we went out of town! Our dog bear had an incision open up and she became aware of it right away and called us to let us know, and asked us what we would like her next steps to be. She dropped in an extra time and was so flexible and her communication was fantastic. She found the cone, put Neosporin on his wound, sent us pictures, and even separated the dogs when we asked because the one doesnt do well when the other wears the head cone! Lindsey made me know my dogs were in good hands when I was out of town even through a scary and u forseen circumstance. We came home that night because Lindsey let us know about it. Thank you soooo much for taking such great care of our doggies, having great communication and expertise. We will definitely have her watch them again and definitely trust and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Our dogs warmed up to him right away which doesn'tusually happen. We just had one hour drop in visit so far and everything went great. Loved the pics and update on the dogs. We already have more visits scheduled with him. Thank you.”

“Loryn is a lifesaver and checked on my pup, Fiona, during a weekend and I could immediately tell that she loves dogs! She sent timely and adorable updates on my pup and I felt very at ease that Fiona was in good hands, will definitely book again!!”

“Callie is great! She checked in with our dogs precisely on time and left great notes + photos. The dogs love her. One of our dogs is diabetic - Callie was experienced with observing signs of glucose inbalance and administering insulin. We recommend Callie and will request her service in the future.”

“Danielle did an amazing job taking care of our pups! The updates and photos were great, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time away without worrying if our dogs were being taken care of. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals! We will definitely be reaching out to her for any future needs. Thanks Danielle!”

“Brittney took such good care of our senior guy, Jax. This was our first time using Rover and of course we were nervous, but Brittney’s thorough messages and photo updates made us feel like he was in great hands. She went above and beyond with Jax, even brushing him while we were gone. We would highly recommend Brittney and will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Mara was awesome!! The cats seemed to be comfortable with her immediately -- even our shy girl. Her drop-in pics made us smile everyday and she followed instructions perfectly as far as we could tell! Thank you Mara! You rock :)”

About: Hello! I have had dogs around me all my life. I’m currently a dog parent to two Chihuahua mix dogs, Bennie and Jet. Both are rescued and very sweet. I have assisted in training hunting dogs for my family and friends. I don’t have any professional experience, but I love dogs and I’m very good at making dogs feel safe and loved. I live in Rochester, MN and work a job that is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in the office. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. I would love to get to know you and your four legged family members!!! I typically work 9am-5pm at the office 3-4 days a week. In the mornings, I take my pups out to go potty and then they tend to come in and go back to bed. When I can I like to come home over my lunch to take them out and play a bit. In the evenings, we play outside if it’s nice and inside if not. My pups are free feeders so they eat when they are hungry and I just fill the bowl back up, this is typically 1/2-1 cup per day for my two chihuahuas. I’ve followed more routine feeding with my dogs in the past but this works best for mine now. My pups will cuddle on the couch with me until bedtime then they sleep in bed with me. I have a fenced in yard with trees for the pups to play in. Good side-walked neighborhood for walks. My house has stairs but I use baby gates for when senior or special needs pets visit. Lots of dog beds and blankets, all the blankets in my house belong to the pups lol.
“Abigail was so great! I always worry about my dog when I have to work 24-hour shifts and I felt much better with Abigail checking in. Everything went seamlessly and she took such good care of my Leia. Will definitely be a go to for us!”

Rochester cat parents share their Rover experiences
Angela went the extra mile to take great care of our two cats while we were out of town. She was very communicative and took the time to get to know our cats, play with them, give them their meds, and much more. She was fantastic and we would highly recommend her as a cat sitter!

Joanna was amazing!! She was extremely knowledgeable in animal care and loved hanging out with my boys! She also provided incredibly witty narratives in each of her updates, making it a joy to read them. I would recommend Joanna to everyone looking for an awesome sitter!

Anna was a great pet sitter! She was also incredibly flexible, I accidentally booked the wrong dates (I put May instead of April), and she kindly accommodated the change without any issues. Most importantly, she got along really well with my cat, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I would definitely recommend her!

Caroline was fantastic. She was dependable and when our Roomba unexpectedly moved our cat steps to their food, she let us know and put the steps back so our kids were still able to easily get to their food and water. She was kind and loving to our two cats each time she came. We highly recommend her!
