Cats and dogs have always been a huge aspect of my life; so when I came across Rover, I knew it was a perfect way to supplement my income. I have my own insurance through Pet Care Insurance. I have an extensive background in pet care to include experience working at a vet clinic, volunteering in the rescue/shelter community including fostering, caring and handling show dogs, and working with trainers. I am also a certified pharmacy technician with continuing education done in animal med, including administration. Due to my experience working at a vet clinic, I am knowledgable about many medical conditions, including warning signs.

Safety, trust & environment
I only provide services in the homes of my clients. I am an extremely tidy house guest. I bring my own food, pillows, blankets, etc. You can feel comfortable that your house will be in the same condition that you left it. My business practices: I do not communicate through phone calls. I use phone calls in emergency situations only. I prefer communication to be written and through the Rover app. I do not give out my personal number. I am willing to meet in public places or in homes. I ask all clients to leave a written note or have clear expectations/instructions communicated through the app. Meet and greets are not always required for me and in some situations, I leave it up to the owners. Every pet in the house must have their own profile under the account owner. This is required under Rover’s guidelines. Due to liability concerns, I do not job share with other individuals, meaning I have to be the only person performing pet care while you are away.

Angela took great care of our cats while we were away on a trip, and went out of her way to make sure they were entertained and happy. Getting updates from her while we were out of town was a relief every time!
I cannot speak more highly of Angela. We have rebooked her now a few times to sit for our two cats and have been so happy. Recently, we were gone for the longest that we’ve ever been -a whole two weeks. We missed the cats like crazy and hated to be away for that long. She gave regular check-ins, made sure they had plenty of love, kept us up-to-date with how they were doing and even recognized times when our shy kitty seemed to need more attention. She reached out when she had questions and concerns which made us feel so confident in her care. We are so grateful to her and fortunate to have been connected through Rover! Book her!

Angela was great with our 3 cats. She made sure they were well taken care of and was a great communicator.
Angela was really great with Oro! She went above and beyond spending some extra time for him to get closer and more comfortable with her (since he can be a bit shy with new people). She clearly loves animals and is really good with cats 😺. She also updated me every visit, which I really appreciated. I could see how Oro slowly got pretty comfortable with her. I’m am really glad to have found someone like her to watch Oro when we’re away. Thanks Angela!

Schedule
Besides pet sitting, I do work another job. If I am working while providing care to pets, I communicate that in advance to pet owners. While house sitting, I continue to check and feed my own cats twice a day. Also while I house sit, I do continue to accept drop-ins. Due to both of the previous statements, I can only accept clients that are okay with me coming and going. I am not able to offer 24/7 supervised care.

- I love all dogs, but I will admit that I have a special place in my heart for big dogs as well as dogs that have a "bully breed" stigma such as Pit Bull Terriers, Boxers, Dobermans, and Rottweilers, etc. I have found some breeds may not be a good fit for me. I am aware of those breeds and am up-front with clients at the time of messaging. Before I meet a dog, I would like to know the expectations the owner has as well as the dog's daily schedule. If the dog has any health concerns, I would like to know that prior to the care I give. The owner's preference for vet service if anything were to ever happen is important as well. I do ask that all owners please have an established vet clinic in the area and that rabies for all pets (dogs and cats, even indoor) be up to date. This is for the safety of your pets but it is also a federal and state requirement. If you do not have an established clinic in the area, please have a vaccination chart and contact information for previous vet accessible for me in case an emergency would arise.
